Description of Work: Worked to clear a supposed clog in our plumbing system in our laundry room. They snaked the pipes to be sure there was no clog, then expertly identified the issue as a problem with our washing machine itself, as opposed to the pipes. We were then able to get an appliance repairman to address the issue with the washing machine.

Description of Work: Company rep was excellent in calling me to set up appointment. Even called me when an earlier time was available, and did I want to switch. Said yes, of course. Called the Home Warranty of America, to ask if they would cover the repair, since I had them out to repair a washer last month, and if it could be possible this may be the source of the leak into my kitchen on the main level. They agreed and notified the plumbing service they utilize for my area. Both had the same rating w/BBB, with no complaints, so I cancelled my work order w/Angie's List. I will be looking for a carpenter to repair the ceiling after the work is done, so I will be calling Angie's List for a name.

 + -1 moreAndy returned my call on the same day. I told him it was not an emergency though he came the next day. My kitchen sink had a slow leak and what Andy had found was a crack in the seal.The parts used for the initial installation of this sink were cheap. Andy replaced them. I immediately could see the difference in quality of the new parts. Andy then removed my toilet that had been installed only 7 months ago but was always running. Andy showed me how the toilet also rocked on my tile and was not steady. After removing the toilet, Andy showed me how the flange was not installed correctly and it even had the wrong kind of bolts used. Andy had all the necessary parts in his truck and quickly installed then and put the toilet back. It has not run since. He did an outstanding job. I was very impressed with both his efficiency and knowledge. I highly recommend this company. The price was very fair and honest.
Description of Work: Andy, (Tom's Son) fixed the leak with my kitchen sink. He also fixed my toilet that was previously installed incorrectly and was constantly running. He was polite. I appreciate that he informed me as to what was wrong and showed me the parts. He explained what he was doing and also gave me options. I told him I had a bad experience with a plumber 7 months ago and I needed to get it done correctly. Andy corrected both the sink and the toilet. I couldn't be more pleased with his work.

 + 0 moreWithin 5 minutes of leaving a message (on Saturday), Tom called me back. He gave me an estimate right over the phone and we set up an appointment for the following week. I actually had to change the date and he was very accommodating. Tom called the night before and explained that he would be a half an hour late due to an emergency he had to care for but his son actually arrived on time and began working. They were both very pleasant and worked quickly to take away the old heater and replace it with an energy efficient water heater. We were very pleased with the results and are now enjoying hot water without worrying about running out of hot water.
Description of Work: Tom's Plumbing replaced our old water heater with a new A.O.Smith, took away and disposed of (environmentally safe) the old heater, and fixed pipes which were rusted away.

 + -1 moreI called them to get an estimate for some work (based on a couple good reports on Angie's list) and left a voicemail since no one answered. It took a couple of days to get a return phone call from Tom, at which time we agreed he would come out to my home a few days later at 9:00am to. No one showed up or even called and I wasted 2 hours waiting in vain. It is now 6:45pm - still not even a phone call. Very unprofessional in every sense. Textbook example of a service company without any clue what good customer is, and which obviously doesn't care. Better luck to anyone else who calls them.

 + 0 moreThe serviceman was very pleasant and accomplished the work quickly and efficiently. We have a generator, to which they hooked up the new sump pump and it works well. I prefer not to discuss the cost, but it was definitely fair and I would recommend them to others.
