They really went above and beyond what was necessary. Which is the reason I'm writing the review. They came on time on the day scheduled. The installation was fine and everything works properly. We have a neighbor below us who constantly complains that we're making noise. This neighbor complained that the fan for the air conditioning system located outside our condo building was making too much noise. Tom kindly came out to measure the noise (on Memorial Day weekend) and found that it was within the required specifications. However, he obtained a blanket and hard start and came back to install them (free of charge to us) to further reduce any sound from the fan. It was extra work for him, yet he was willing to do it to help us quiet our complaining neighbors.

Old home with no central AC decided it was time to make the switch. The job went smoothly and finished on time. Tom and his team were very professional and attentive to any questions and concerns I had. Tom was very knowledgeable when we were considering the type of equipment I wanted in my home. He explained with great patience, which products would be best for us and the size of the home. Afterward, he walked me through what was going to be expected during the installation process and where the appliances would go. Week of Installation Tom introduced me to Dan who was going to be heading the project at my home. Dan was very approachable whenever I had questions, gave me an idea of what was going to be done that day, let me know if the water was going to be shut off and for how long. Dan was quick to coordinate with Tom whenever I asked if they could "change this since your here" and gladly fit it in their schedule. Present Overall I'm pleased to say Tom and the efforts of his team are above reproach. The dedication the teams shows to provide quality workmanship really shines through and I would strongly recommend Climate Control Services to anyone who would like a great, dependable, diligent team delivering quality services and products for your home.

It went very well. Installers were on time, courteous, answered all my questions. The work area was spotless when they left. Tom was very thorough with his explanations. He followed through on everything he said he would do. He was very pleasant to deal with.

These guys are awesome, very knowledgeable, the work is beautiful and couldn't have asked for a better job. The kicker is that they're really well priced! A+ job, the new setup has at least twice the airflow!

I've used Tom for the last five years to service my furnace and A/C. I have an older unit, and Tom has always been very honest and good about explaining the problems each time, and discussing the short and long-term issues that may arise. He's fair, professional, punctual and always does an excellent job.

Climate Control Services is a company you will enjoy doing business with. The American Standard furnace we got operates quietly at its 97% efficiency rating. Tom organized everything from start to finish. He gave us a detailed estimate, got the permit, and put together all the paperwork required to receive available rebates that made the purchase more affordable. Dan and Greg did a topnotch install. Everybody was friendly and took time to respond to any questions. We did pick up the 10-year extended (labor) warranty and look forward to using their services to maintain the unit. Highly recommend.

I called Climate Control at 10:30 PM on a Sunday night (when they were closed) and a live person answered! It was about 1 degree below zero out when I called. I was just planning on leaving a message. I explained my problem and she said someone would call me back within an hour. Tom called me back within 15 minutes and spent a lot of time on the phone with me discussing my heating issue. He said that he could come out immediately if I wanted, but I decided it could wait until morning. He came out on Monday morning and spent a great deal of time with me going over all the details of my boiler heating system. (This was a new house I recently purchased that was built in 1955 and had 2 types of heat, radiant floor heat in one part of the house and a baseboard boiler heating system in the addition.) Since I previously only had forced air heat I was not familiar with boilers or radiant heat. Tom came out and spent a great deal of time with me going over all the details and answering my many questions. He was very patient and made sure I understood everything he was explaining to me. I was so impressed with his punctuality, professionalism, patience and attention to detail. He definitely did not try to sell me any unnecessary services or parts for my heating system. It was so refreshing to have someone like him who took the time and energy to explain everything without the "hard sell" tactics used by so many service professionals these days. Tom was great and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of heating or cooling systems service or installation. Dealing with this company was like dealing with an old fashioned company with personal attention, professionalism, honesty, integrity, great service and follow-up. Climate Control is one of the best companies I have dealt with in decades. After reading all the exceptional reviews on Angie's List about this company I was confident they would be great, but they far exceeded my expectations and I will definitely use them in the future. Trust me when I say this company is the BEST!

I've always been very happy with Tom and his team. I found them on Angielist and they fixed a problem that others had previously been unable to diagnose. Since that time I've used them 4-5 other times and always with great results.

Nate did a great job of inspecting/cleaning the furnace and doing the humidifier maintenance which included replacing the humidipad. He was neat, polite and thorough. Climate Control Services did such a wonderful job of installing this new furnace, humidifier and ac last year that I decided to have them clean and maintain my units. I highly recommend this company, and I will continue to use them in the future.

Our house had electric baseboard heating + a couple of AC units to provide heating and cooling since it was built in the 1960s. Tom and his crew at Climate Control Services did a great job finally bringing us up to date with a ductless heating + AC system. They provided a competitive quote and prompt responses to any questions we had. They coordinated and managed an electrical contractor to come in and do the necessary wiring for the new units, and they also recommended we have some minor electrical rework done on our electrical panel, since it wasn't up to code. We've had this ductless system installed for a little over a month now, and couldn't be happier. Our baseboard heaters are off, our house is a consistent temperature throughout as our mid-west winter begins to kick in to full gear, and we can't wait to get our next electric bill now that we can leave our baseboard heaters off.

Extremely responsive, same day repair of furnace, and could have come same day of the call but we were not able to squeeze him in. Furnace repair was not urgent, but call Tom and you might get your furnace repaired same day of the call. At the rate the autumn is going, not sure we'll need the furnace in November. Repair was a touch pricey and an itemized bill could not be delivered (how much was labor, how much was the part, etc.), but service was excellent, top notch.

I highly recommend this service. He fixed my issue for low cost, and I asked him for a quote on something I already had completed by another service and he was much cheaper. Definitely my new guy for HVAC!

I bought a deal through Angies List to have my 2 furnaces cleaned and inspected. I had some initial question before I placed my order. The company was very responsive and quickly answered my emails. The day of the service he arrived on time (if I recall correctly it was Dan). He turned on the furnaces and began checking the systems before he cleaned them. He worked quickly and professionally. He was done in about 2 hours. His computer laptop was unavailable to provide a receipt that day, however, one was emailed to me the next day. I would definitely consider hiring them again.

How did it go? My experience with Climate Control not only exceeded my expectations of superior service, but it provided my family and I with confidence that a company who truly cares about the individual exists and is ready to provide timely service. For when one is having heating/air problems, everyone knows that the consumer must have it resolved; it is not a "want", rather it is a "need." Thus, it is a company like Climate Control you want by your side and ready to provide! Providing quality, caring, fair and experienced heating and air service is the cornerstone of this company that drives its interactions with the consumer. Quality products installed by an individual educated in his technical trade field is the difference you experience, rather than the typical company that may provide "by code" "acceptable service", but lack exceptional care and expertise. The following is a more specific impressive list of actions that shaped my perception of Climate Control, but the genuineness emanating from the manager is not something that can be quantified or described fully, yet it is this genuineness that permeated the experience: *Responded with a phone call within hours after initial email to the company *I was asked a series of diagnostic questions over the phone to better prepare for the service call *Actively listened to the questions and concerns of my father *Reliable service...came on time and within less than 48 hours *Accommodating to my schedule *Used updated, quality tools with latest technology *Called his supplier to get a part expedited and drove to Elmhurst so it could be installed on the same day *Discussed how to properly maintain my air system and explained how our current system install by builder impacts the A/C unit's performance *Discussed pros and cons of replacing the motor now verses later *Very respectful *Cleaned up work area well and took off of shoes while in house *Asked if I had any further questions and encouraged me to email if had any other further questions *Offered to email me some additional information about my current A/C system As you can see, the only answer one can have to question "How did it go?" is ....EXCELLENT!

My in-laws A/C went out. We called Climate Control around noon and the dispatcher said someone would be there by 3:00. The tech arrived an hour later and went straight to work. He found out the problem, fixed it and was on his way. My in-laws were very pleased with his punctuality and professionalism. We will BOTH use this company from now on.

I emailed Sunday night that our air conditioner was out and got a call from Tom first thing Monday morning. They were out with a part and had it fixed by lunch time. Great service. Have used this company in the past and plan to keep on doing so!

It stated there will be a 'tune-up' but what does that actually mean? All I got was a young kid that came in and hooked up the gauges to my outdoor unit and told me that my pressure was low and that I should look at the new unit. How the R22 refrigerant was outdated and expensive because new units run on different refrigerant. No 'tune-up' was performed and it was waste of money ($90). Nothing was inspected nor looked at. I was not really asked any questions. At least some diagnostics should have taken place to at least narrow down the problem as to why my unit wasn't properly, go over some pricing of repairs, maintenance suggestions, specific questions, etc. Nothing happened. I knew I had to recharge the lines with the refrigerant and the guy who came constantly tried to talk that down and steer me away to new unit. He left and nothing was done. Guess what happened next? A quote arrived in a mail for the new unit. Just push and shove technique that steers me away from doing business with these guys.

Outstanding! I had not dealt with thgem in ht past, but as a service manager for 30+ years with a large computer company, I recognize the value of great service - which unfortunately does not happen all to often. I cannot say enough good things about how they operate - I am a Customer for life!

Unfortunately, it's not a quick fix. But I would not have any other company touch the unit. Tom originally installed my furnace and air-conditioning unit and an air purifier. I have had him in my home to service the units ever since. Highly recommend.

Honest, Knowledgeable, and Reliable. Tom knows his business well and goes above and beyond because he cares. The savings on my gas and electric bills have been a huge bonus!

Originally we called a couple of well rated companies from Angie's List to give us quotes as this was a big job. Tom came in the lowest bid for the work. Everything went as he told us it would. He worked with us on work dates (April 2014)and gave us exactly what we asked for. We have an unusual furnace location which means the furnace had to go in differently than most furnaces. The workman didn't realize this and they had put it in incorrectly. Tom was checking the work and noticed the error. He was very respectful with them. He did not get mad at them but he had them redo the work so that it was properly done and he explained everything to them and to us. We were impressed with his style of leadership. This week we called him back out because of a small leak in a gas line to a fireplace. He sent someone out the next day to make the repair, no charge of course. We need a new air conditioner at our church. We have already called Tom to give us his recommendations.
