Raul responded to my initial inquiry immediately. The appointment was set for 3 days later. They arrived as scheduled. Raul and his crew (Jose and Gustavo) were very hard working, professional, and thorough. Raul completely explained each and every cost before the work even got started. I wanted some additional work done which he quoted on the spot, then let me pick and choose what work he should proceed to do. The final cost was exactly as what he quoted. They moved furniture as needed and then put it back in place. Took great care with all my belongings. My carpets look so fresh and like they were brand new. They did a wonderful job. I couldn't be more pleased.

RAUL IS VERY PROFESSIONAL. GAVE ME EXCELLENT ADVICE ON A PROBLEM WE HAD WITH THE CARPET. CLEANED THE REST OF THE HOUSE. EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICES. I HAVE USED THEM BEFORE AND WILL AGAIN UNTIL I INSTALL HARDWOOD FLOORS.

Raul was very professional and friendly at the estimate. He quoted me exactly what the final cost ended up being. My house was empty at the time of the cleaning so that may have helped. The carpet upstairs are great. The carpets in the basement were deordorized, and steam cleaned. I can still smell cat urine from the previous homeowner but I dont know if that is a reflection on the cleaning.... or heavily soiled carpet.

We paid $249 in advance on Angie's list, knowing that there might be an up-charge because the rooms were large. There was a $50 up-charge. That was ok. We had an area rug cleaned while they were here. $45. Seemed high but OK. We knew that there would be a charge to move the four beds, large chairs, table and sofa. The up-charge was $150!!!!! Good grief! $50 would have made sense to me. Then there was a $95 dollar charge for cleaning the heavily trafficked areas. Unbelievable! Most of the carpeting was on the level in our home where we spend little time and rarely have guests stay. So the only really heavily trafficked areas were in our bedroom - from the doors to the bed. There was a charge for doing the carpeted stairs - $48. We expected that. So overall, if we had been charged a reasonable price - say $50 for moving the furniture, and maybe $25 for the "heavily trafficked" area in our bedroom, we might have been ok. But not counting the area rug, our $249 Angie's list deal turned out to be $592. To my way of thinking, that was $125 too much. In summary, it was a very good job at a shocking price.

We had 4 rooms,2 hallways, and 5 closets; all with light beige carpeting. There were several stains (including rust stains from furniture feet). Raul was able to get all stains out, raked the carpets, and applied deodorizer in a little over two hours time. We are selling the house and our real estate agent was blown away by how good the twenty year old carpet looked and by how good the house smelled. We plan on calling Raul soon to do another project for us. We even gave Raul's number to our agent as she said "We've got to use this man on other properties."

Raul responded to my phone call quickly and I arranged for him to pick up my rugs for off-site cleaning. When he picked them up, I decided to also have him clean the carpets at the time he brought the rugs back. The day of scheduled service, two men from Raul's company showed up not only on time but actually early. They were extremely professional in attitude and actions, very polite and wearing booties in the house from the moment they walked in. They vacuumed the carpet before they began, which is not always the case with carpet cleaning services. They also moved quite a bit of my furniture - even some of the heavier pieces - which pleased me. I think they left the two heaviest pieces in place, which was totally fine. They did a great job getting rid of traffic stains, a bunch of old paint stains, a red wine stain and quite a few areas stained from hairballs (we have two digestive-challenged cats). About half-way through, Raul showed up as well and oversaw the rest of the cleaning. When they were done, he walked around with me and he ensured I was happy with their cleaning no areas where they removed the worst stains. I was very pleased with the results - especially the one where I tipped over a 1/4 gallon of latext paint. The carpet looks almost new! They did a great job, and I am especially pleased with the stairs. I've been hesitating to finish this review because of some concerns that I was trying to decide whether I should mention! 1) The lingering chemical smell was very strong and lated for several days, despite opening north-south windows all day/night and running three air purifiers. It was much stronger than any previous experiences I've had with carpet cleaning. I thought maybe the deep-clean process required stronger chemicals, but the area rugs had the same strong smell. A week later, it's mostly gone. So, I've never a problem with that strong, lingering chemical smell before, but nobody else has done this good of a job either. Sooo... I guess it's a trade off! Would I use Carpet Wiser again? Probably, but I will ask Raul next time if it's possible to use some other cleaning product that isn't quite so strong.

I can't say enough great things about Raul and this company. First Raul was extremely quick to respond to my initial inquiry and subsequent follow-ups via the messaging service on Angie's List. Raul gave me a time frame and date and said that he would call 30 minutes before they would be arriving. As I would expect, and am very pleased, Raul called right on time and then showed up to do the cleaning 30 minutes later. Having someone show-up on time is rare these days so hats off to Raul! In regards to the cleaning of the carpet I could not be happier. Raul and company vacuumed, pre-treated, and deep cleaned my carpet. His excellent work was able to clean-up/remove 95% of a very stained carpet that is very light in color. I didn't expect it to come out as clean as it did so I'm thrilled with his work. I would absolutely use Raul and his Company again, refer him to anyone, and will be using him in the future. Thanks again Raul for your excellent and very professional work.

Raul brought back to life a carpet that we were considering replacing. Really bad staining from the previous owners. I couldn't believe the transformation. Punctual, professional and responsive.

My steps were filthy and stained. Raul came with his staff of two assistants and arrived right on time. They were courteous and efficient. They did a fantastic job. He has good equipment for deeply soiled carpet and a truck mounted cleaning system. And I felt his prices were extremely fair. I would hire Raul again anytime to clean my carpets!

They were prompt and well prepared. I had an issue with moving and cleaning under a large furniture piece. Raul resolved the issue by leaving his furniture sliders under the furniture, so the carpet would dry underneath. He was scheduled to be in my neighborhood a few days later and offered to pick up the sliders then. I appreciated his extra effort. Not bad for the price. They deep cleaned the family room, hallway, 2bedrooms and 12 stairs for 225. Rooms looked great. Was in and out in about 2 hrs! This is the 3rd time we used this service and will definitely use again.

I recently purchased a new home and the carpet in the 3 bedrooms needed cleaning. I made my purchase through Angie?s List for $149 for Green or Traditional Carpet Cleaning Plus Deodorizing, they had great reviews and i see there are more near my area (elgin) Mr. Raul Aviles showed up with an employee of his on time (during lunch time). They check the bedrooms and Raul informed me that i should add in deep cleaning for my carpet based on the type of carpet i have. He says normally they charge 55 but since i don't have a hallway, he will do it for 35. we agreed on the price and they started work. After about 30 minutes, i had to go back to work (someone else is home). So Raul finished the job and called me after... I went home after work that day and find the carpet to be very clean and smelled good. Overall good service. Would repeat.

Raul arrived exactly on time. He explained exactly what needed to be done. He is very professional and has a very pleasant personality. They were careful to move furniture and use little blocks on furniture legs. They even did my closet!! I am very pleased with the results and the carpets look new and smell good with a cinnamon fragrance. It only took them 2 hours to do all that work! The cost was very reasonable.

Excellent service! This was the second time Raoul had cleaned this carpet and I was delighted to find out that he had notes from last time! With extra attention to problem areas this time around he was able to remove the shadows of stains that had been intractable last time. See you next time, Raoul!

Raul was great. On time, very professional and explained everything. Had a small problem with a stain that "wicked up" from deep down. Looked ok until it dried , then it "magically" reappeared. Called Raul and they came back and took care of it They worked on it for over an hour and no extra charge. Great job and I would use them again

They did an excellent job! They took care of moving everything. They were very competent. It didn't take them very long to do the work and they were very punctual and polite. They were everything you would want in a service company.

Its was perfect, John and Jose showed up on time, they were very respectful and professional. I have 2 big dogs and they were able to get out some stubborn stains, I have never seen the carpets look so good. I felt like I was living in a Fraternity house before they cleaned the carpets. They did a fantastic job and I would definitly recommend them.

The service by this company was outstanding! Joe arrived promptly at the time scheduled along with his co-worker Dave. We trusted the reviews by others on this company and did not request an estimate prior to the work being performed. The carpet (berber and deep pile) is 16 years old and has been cleaned annually. We were dissatisfied with the work the last couple of years by the company we had used. If we could give Carpet Wiser an A+ rating, we would! The carpets are off white and beige in color and while they have been well taken care of, after today's cleaining, they look like brand new! We would definitely recommend adding the deep clean which is extra but well worth it after seeing the results. As I write this 8 hours after the work was performed, the carpets are almost dry! A first for us as previous cleanings have resulted in carpet drying taking up to 2 days. Carpet Wiser has earned our business going forward!
