Description of Work: First: Do not confuse this with All Suburban Plumbing. This is All Sub EMERGENCY Plumbing. This was my mistake and I've paid dearly for it. | |Problem: sewer backing up into my basement through shower and bottom of toilet. Paid $370 for rodding and camera. Cleared out some debris but water still came back towards house and serviceman told me I should contact the city for them to flush the city line. | |City manager and then later workers came out and it was clear (I looked down the manhole myself). City did not understand why they would state that and why they could not rod all the way to the clean city line. They told me they obviously did not go all the way to the street -- less than 150 ft. Told me they must not have gone far enough with the rod. | |Meanwhile, I had hip replacement surgery but as soon as I could get down into my basement (a few months later) I found the sewer backed up into my basement yet again. | |When I called the same serviceman kept telling me in an impatient and rude manner that he "wrote on my receipt" there was a pitch to my sewer line and THAT is why it backs up. I saw the camera results and saw no pitch and furthermore they never told me that as we all watched the camera view. Instead he had clearly indicated the rod was "hitting something" he could not get past. And then told me that their prices had gone up. And since the 90 day mark had passed they'd have to charge me again. But he'd "cut a deal" and charge my just an additional $ 190. Of course I've taken off work again and needed to fix this so I had to dish out MORE money to fix the problem they did not address the first time. I'm not confident it will work but at least this time he had a worker go OUT TO THE STREET to confirm the rod went all the way. Wonder why they did not do this last time. | |Then there's the clean up. They asked me for a towel. I did not have an old one. When they left the towel was there on the floor covered in feces and toilet paper. The floor was littered with the same. They did not mop or attempt to clean up after themselves. A nice ending to a nice experience (sic).

Description of Work: During the winter rain storm that my area experienced on Friday/Saturday, December 26-27, 2008, my electric sump pump broke. I called All Suburban about 8:15 on Saturday morning. By 10:15 that same morning, I had a new working electric sump pump and George repaired my battery back-up sump pump to automatically turn off as the water level dropped. The charge for this work was $370.00, which I thought was good value for the work performed and the very quick response time from my call to job completion. George and his crew were prompt, professional, & courteous.
