Went great. on time and worked out of the back of his box truck. was done in about 45 min and my snow blower ran perfectly

I purchased an Angie's List deal for the tune-up at a very good price, especially considering the owner drove out to my house and did the work on-site. (Which, by the way, is great because my admittedly over-powered snow blower is not easy to haul to a shop!) The owner was prompt, polite and friendly. He did the tune-up in a work area in the back of his trailer, and did a fine job returning my rough-running snow blower back to good running shape. I will definitely be calling him again when needed.

They did a great job, I liked that they come to the house. The guy is really nice, on time, and courteous.

When I scheduled the work wilth AAM, I indicated that my lawn tractor had had a problem in the fall, coming to a sudden stop, then blew out a big puff of smoke when I started it again. I expected the service person to find out what was wrong and either repair it or tell me if it had to go in for further repair. I left the mowers accessible on a work day, they did the tune-up and told me it the tractor was running fine. When I tried to use the lawn tractor, it did the same thing, right away, that it had done in the fall. The service person could not have run the mower at all or they would have known it wasn't fine. The push mower was tuned, although they overfilled the oil past the correct level. In aIl fairness, I didn't call them back, knowing there would be an additional cost for the repair and not having a high opinion of their expertise at that point. I'm not sure that the person who worked on my mowers has enough knowledge about this kind of work. $300 to a different service put my lawn tractor in top running condition.

They were great. I was still working at the time and I told them I'd leave the garage door open so they came, performed the work, left me a receipt and I was very happy with them. I have no complaints whatsoever because it was a very easy transaction. The ease with dealing with them is what stood out for me since I didn't have to take a day off.

VERY GOOD.. Cost effective and timely response.. just what we needed

Owner arrived on time at the appointed date. He had everything he needed in his mobile truck to repair my snowblower. It took about an hour. He answered my questions. He completed the work I paid him and he left. About a week later we got the big snow and I fired up the snow blower and it did not work properly. I called his office the next day and they had me inspect snow blower and I found that two small bolts has not been replaced. They promptly set an appointment to correct and came out the next day corrected the issue and were on there way. The snowblower works better that when it was new. A simple oversight that he quickly corrected. I would still definately use his services again.

Friendly and easy to schedule. Arrived right on time and completed work in a timely manner. Very personable. Will definitely use again.

Last season AAM's small engine repair came to my home and performed a tune-up on my snow thrower. Recently, I had difficult time starting the snow thrower. With no charge to me, they visited my home and made sure the snow thrower worked. I was extremely pleased to find that AAM's Small Engine repair practices integrity and stands by their work.

This was an excellent experience. He comes to your house and does the work in your own garage. I would use this company again and highly recommend him.

Everything turned out fine and went as expected. I used to arrange for a local company to come pick up the lawn mower and it always took a couple of weeks to get it back. AAM's comes to you and does the work right in front of you.

They did a great job. I didn’t have to pay anything extra, other than the big deal. It was tuned up and it worked well, so I was satisfied. The technician was great to deal with as a person and there were no hiccups during the entire experience. It was all good.

Our lawn mower was pretty old (well, 8 years old - and it was a Bolen). The guy told me it probably didn't have much life left. Well, he was right. The mower died within about 2 months of when he serviced it.

They were great... They came to our home and performed an oil change and a blade sharpening. I am now a believer of getting the blade sharpened on a regular basis, it really made a difference!!

The work was performed at my home. I really do not know what was done to the lawnmower to winterize it as the mower was taken out to a truck. I do know that the work was completed in approximately 15 minutes. I expected the blade to be sharpened, spark plug to be changed and I'm sure this was not done.

They showed up and did the work the as stated within the deal. We were happy with their service.

They were very professional and everything was wonderful. They didn't charge me anything extra. Everything is wonderful.

Started our good. Showed up on time. Said he would work on it in his truck out front bring it right back to me. After a little while he came back to me and said he had to take it back to his shop for some parts he did not have in his truck and would have it back to me in two weeks. I said fine, after all the grass hadn't started growing yet. After two weeks I called and was told he was waiting on parts and I'd have it soon. Next weeks call, same story. Then me calls stopped getting answered and no call back in response to my voice messages. He did answer the phone in May and said he was still waiting on a wheel. I asked that he return the mower as is and he did on May 18th. There was a crack on one wheel which I removed in minutes, took to Manards to buy a like size one for $5. I put the wheel on myself in minutes and the mower worked fine all summer. This was the worst service I have received from anyone on Angie's List.

I was having problems starting the previous fall. This past spring I could not start the lawn mower at all. I bought the deal for lawn mower repair by AAM'S Small Engine Repair. They are great. They come out to your house with their truck. The truck has a repair shop inside. They take the lawn mower in the truck and work on it and got it started. Great service at a great price and you don't have to take the lawn mower anywhere, they come to you. I have used this service on more that one occasion and will use them again.

Outstanding convenient service. They come to your house and service your small engine tool on-the-spot. Elwood is prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. I'll absolutely use AAM's every year for my snow blower.

I think Angie's List needs to do better at providing information about Big Deal coupons and the minute details that someone would require to have in order to determine if a Big Deal is worth purchasing.

It was a very good experience. They travel time was a little far, but they did the work while I was there.
