JT and his crew were marvelous. They showed up right on time, gave me an estimate in about an hour and started to work. Even though this was over the memorial day weekend and some of his crew were on vacation the work still was completed. When I came home friday evening JT and his daughter were still there working. They started the dryers and came back Saturday morning and finished the removal. I went out of town for a couple days but JT kept me informed of what was going on. When everything was completed Marie called to follow up to ensure everything was OK and that I was pleased. What a great company. They helped improve a miserable situation. I would recommend these guys highly.

JT came to the house, took a look at the attic and sat with me to work up a draft quotation. He explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. After he returned to the office to finalize the quotation, JT was honest and explained that the actual cost in the final quote would be lower than the initial quote. The work was scheduled and the 2 person crew arrived 15 minutes early. They were very friendly and professional, introduced themselves and explained what they would be doing and approximately how long it would take. The work was completed on schedule and the crew cleaned up all of their materials and took them with. Following the work, the next day I received a follow-up call from Marie to make sure I was satisfied and if I had any problems or issues. I inspected the work about a week later and everything in the attic looked like brand new. I would definitely recommend them.

We had two companies provide proposals for remediation of our attic mold. Both were professional in their proposal process, but AdvantaClean had the best price. Although AdvantaClean included a cost to remove the old insulation, we opted for a separate company to handle that part of the project. AdvantaClean's owner kept in close communication with us throughout the project. They actually came a day earlier to set up the equipment and prepare the entry sites, which was a help to them and us. The team was considerate and professional throughout the two-day period. The owner came out on day two to check on the progress and answer any questions or concerns that we might have. Many homeowners would not have opted for the solution we did, but with friends, relatives and especially grandchildren staying with us from time to time, we believe this remediation treatment gives us the peace of mind to know that our home is again free of any possible toxic condition that could be detrimental to their health. I'm certain their approach and professionalism is second to none and I would highly recommend their services to any other homeowner.

The initial estimate was given promptly and the work was able to be scheduled the following week. JT and his staff were able to accommodate the fact that I was not at the residence and were able to perform the work and let me know about the results in a timely manner. Guys also carried out bags of "junk" we wanted to get rid of, along with 8-12 large paintings. Carpet was difficult to remove since it'd been down for 35+ years and the backing was stuck to parts of the cement floor. Very hard working and professional crew of 2 guys.

I am selling a house with mold in the attic, the owner of advantaclean was able to to come to my house for a price quote the same day I call them, I was able to schedule an appointment on the day after at 7am. On the day of the appointment, I set my alarm clock at 7am, and when I got up at 7, I peaked out my window, the advantaClean team was already out there getting equipments out of their truck. JT Junior and Brendon was the cleaning team and they were very friendly people. They brought in equipment in and out for at least 10 rounds but they put on shoe boots when they come in and would pull the shoe boots out when they get out, I was quite happy that they were considerate to not get my carpets dirty. The job was almost 5 hours, the price was good, and there were after photos and receipts sent to my email so that I can show the buyer of my house.

Advantaclean was one of three companies that we had quote the mold remediation in our attic. JT came out with his son, and looked in the attic, He took measurements, pictures, and was very cautious to keep the area clean. He then took a lot of time explaining and answering questions. My wife was leary about chemical treatment, but he put her at ease, and provided MSDS sheets for all of the chemicals by email that night. The AdvantaClean crew was very professional and hard working. It was nice that the trucks did not scream "MOLD REMOVAL" as we have some nosy neighbors. They finished the bulk of the job in one day, JT and his wife came by the next day to remove the remaining cleaning equipment. The before and after pictures were striking, I feel good that the mold is gone for good. I recommend AdvantaClean to anyone.

A week ago I had Advanta Clean remove mold from our attic. I was very pleased with the entire process. After the inspection, JT sat down with me and explained what steps they take and why. In all, I think we discussed things for at least 45 minutes. I appreciated the detail. After agreeing to his offer, we were able to set up the appointment just a week later. I?m not sure if that was just luck or a sign of a very efficient company. On the day of our appointment, the crew showed up 15 minutes before the 8:00am appointment. Braedon, Tyler and the 3rd crew member (can?t recall his name) were very professional and respectfully of my home the entire time they were there. They never stepped anywhere without having a footie on their shoes and right away put down drop clothes, and saran like carpet covering. After working for several hours, they took their lunch break and let me know when they?d return. At the end of the day they showed me before and after digital photo?s so that I could see the results without having to crawl into the attic (plus the attic entrance was still quarantined off so I couldn?t get up there anyway). It was nice to see the results that same day. They also installed new baffles in the attic as part of the service. The next morning Tyler returned and took down the plastic room they had created around the entrance of the attic, removed the air scrubber and thoroughly vacuumed the entire area. I was extremely happy with the results and also felt the cost was very reasonable considering how hard the crew worked. They made our home a much healthier place and I?m very thankful for that. I?d recommend Advanta Clean to anyone who had problems with mold in their attic .

I found the right company with AdvantaClean of NW Chicagoland? as the service provider they did what they promised and more. You really don?t need to look further than Advanta Clean of NW Chicagoland? as the service provider. I tried a few other companies with much disappointment. One of them is a well know chain store, that has these kind of services and even certified. Advanta Clean of NW Chicagoland came out ; looked at my Condo and realized it had a unique ventilation system. It took them more work ;because of the layout of the system. They were the only company to figure out how to clean it the right way. I was starting to think that ventilation cleaning was a scam; even after my doctor recommended having them cleaned. I was using vent filters; changing them every week? it was bad. Now the only place I would recommend is Advanta Clean (no more filters). My neighbors used one of those other companies; tried a simple vent filter( from home depot )and she now feels ripped off. She also spent hundreds of dollars on other companies. I wish my smart phone picture would download with this because, they were worst than other companies show on their coupons and now look new. JT was very responsive and professional. He explained things in terms I could understand. His team arrived exactly when they said they would to preform the work and were very neat and professional. The estimate and final cost were the same. There were no surprises. Excellent job done! Excellent customer service and follow up. I would highly recommend this company.

JT Maier arrived on time with an assistant and used equipment to check for moisture behind our walls and ceilings. This is specifically what we had requested, since we had already had the air and dust checked for mold previously (used different companies). I now wanted to find out if we might have mold behind the drywall. We live in a very wet area and get a lot of water in the back yard after a heavy rain and mold can become a problem if we don't keep up with it. JT did not find moisture behind the walls or ceilings, but did find mold in a couple of places, including some in the basement and also on a window sill. He gave us instructions on how it can be cleaned. He also recommended that we replace the dehumidifier in our basement because of its age. Throughout the entire appointment, JT explained everything he was doing in detail, including how the two pieces of equipment worked, one to check for temperature changes in the drywall, and the other to check the actual moisture levels. I was very pleased with the amount of time he spent here for the cost of the visit. I felt that we definitely got our money's worth.

Marco and his brother cleaned up the fitness equipment, large woodworking power tools, pvc and metal pipes and ducts, removing any remaining dust and film for the treatment materials. This service was provided very graciously and unhesitatingly by JT, who called dad as soon as he could determine from his staff's schedules, when the work could be done. Dad is very happy with JT and his staff, and I am impressed with their commitment to their customer!

On 10/06 JT and his assistant Carolyn came out to inspect the mold issue discovered in my parents' basement and 2 crawl spaces. JT quickly determined the problem, and within about 2 days JT provided a written proposal and 2+ day remediation scheduled for 10/21. My parents love JT's company, having used them early this year to affordably remediate the mold problem they had in their attic. See the 03/20/2014 review. JT was kind enough to provide some water soluble mold killer to my folks to clean some of the items they wanted to save from the affected areas. He also provided fogging of heavy/bulky items they gathered together in the basement (those too difficult to move out), and in a section of their garage for smaller items they removed to clean, like hand tools small power tools, golf clubs & bags, etc.. Dad says Braden and Marco, the tech specialists were punctual, courteous and helpful in answering concerns he had as they came up, and performed the remediation work efficiently, working whatever hours were needed to complete their scheduled tasks. They have also performed excellent cleanup work in the basement and 2 crawl spaces. The work is completed, and JT's staff set up multiple air cleaners, dehumidifiers and fans to ensure the areas become dried and mold free. Dad feels that AdvantaClean of Northwest Chicagoland is an excellent, affordable and especially HONEST company to contract for this kind of work!

After months of having my house on the market and countless contracts being withdrawn, due to mold concerns in the attic, I decided to have the attic cleaned. JT & his team were courteous, tidy and overall great guys to work with. 2 weeks after having his company clean my attic, I had another offer...and NO ATTIC concerns were found on that inspection report.Thank you.

AdvantaClean took post-remediation (which was done by another company) samples for mold in the basement and attic, and sent them to a lab for testing. They were professional and on-time. The samples were compared to the outside mold levels. While the attic passed, the basement failed the first time. JT provided input to the other remediation company who then came back and redid some work. AdvantaClean resampled the basement air and it passed the second time. They were invaluable in helping make sure the basement was free of elevated mold levels.

Advantaclean (JT and his assistant Carolyn) were professional from the get go. From the scheduling of the appointments, to the explanation of the work to be performed, to the guys performing the work, they obviously work very hard to make sure all is top notch. We are pretty used to average to below average service from folks nowadays and I am particularly sensitive to poor service, and they are as far from poor as you get. :)

JT Maier came out quickly to provide a fair quote. We did get two additional quotes from other service providers and this quote was in the middle. The AdvantaClean crew that performed the work were courteous and respectful of our home. They did the work in one day and everything looks great. I do recommend Advantaclean of Northwest Chicagoland for price and quality of work.

JT and an assistant spent a good amount of time measuring the attic, assessing the problem, and providing me with their remediation options. The assessment was thorough and detailed. We had three estimates from similar companies, and I ended up using another contractor. The information and estimate were valuable and provided in good faith, their price was reasonable, and I would recommend that anyone with a mold problem consider this company. My decision to use a different company was based primarily on schedule availability and secondarily on a slightly lower price to do more encapsulation.
