I was concerned about health issues due to some mold in my attic. I hired Napco as a referral from a friend. They didn’t remove all the mold, and just left the baffle vents laying on the ground. I learned my lesson the hard way. So this time I went on Angies List and found the top 3 mold remediation companies and called them all for an estimate. I ended up going with AdvantaClean because JT was so nice and knowledge. He spent plenty of time talking about how to prevent the issue as well as all the step he takes to remove the mold. I was nervous on the day of service as I was afraid the technicians would not be as JT, but I was so impressed with them. They were young men, very professional, and well spoken. I couldn’t be happier with AdvantaClean’s service and would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks JT and AdvantaClean!

Extremely well. Fast response, for evaluation and estimate. Fair price for work to be accomplished. Job scheduled quickly, and done very professionally. Could not be more pleased with the complete project, from my first contact to completion and testing results. Pictures of before and after clearly displayed the effectiveness of the total operation. A couple months late with this review but JT was great and he’ll be my first call if I ever have any mold issues again. I had a bunch of vintage items that I didn’t realize had mold and when I tried to clean them, I made it worse. I got rid of them but was worried mold had spread in the air. JT did a walk through & recommended air testing. He gave lots of explanation about mold, treatments, etc so I thoroughly understood my situation and air test results in context. No sales pressure, just a straightforward, knowledgeable guy. Collected the outside air sample (the baseline for comparison) during a polar vortex and hustled to make the last Fedex pickup on Friday night so test results would come back ASAP. Has an independent lab do the analysis of air samples and report, which is good practice. Plus, we are getting bonus mileage out of the air purifiers we got now that it’s allergy season. Good guy, good communication, good job!

Everything went well. JT and his crew did an excellent job cleaning the attic mold. Passed re-inspection without any issues.

JT came on time for an appointment to access mold in my home. He was pleasant, polite and thoughtful to wear booties over his shoes. Most importantly he seemed very knowledgeable and honest. JT was honest and indicated that although he could take my money and remove the mold that it would just come back unless I addressed the source. In my case, I have a damaged foundation and leaky roof. He took the time to explain what he was doing while performing tests and gave suggestions to help the situation until I'm able to undertake these major house repairs. I will without a doubt hire him to demold once the major repairs are finished. His honesty was such a blessing.

The Staff were Professional, Expert, Punctual, and Completed all work as was contracted. They gave an inspection of the attic and provided a clearly explained plan to remediate the mold. They arrived on time, tarped off the work area, proviided positive pressure ventilation, performed the remediation, and cleaned up. I would gladly hire this company again! l was very satisfied. The owner JT Maier came by my home for an inspection on a very small spot of drywall to determine if it was mold or not. He was very informative and knowledgeable. In addition, he communicated well before and after the appointment, arrived on time, and was professional through the entire process.

JT came out promptly, did a thorough inspection and a detailed estimate. His son and Marco came out the next week and worked a very long day covering objects and removing the damaged material. Everyone, including phone staff were courteous and pleasant to deal with.. They left fans going and returned two days later to take the rest of their equipment. Everyone answered all my questions to my satisfaction.

We hired them to clean our house vent system. We had a major bathroom renovated and a lot of dirt and dust was sent through out our house. The team Tyler and Marco were on time, professional, very considerate of everything in our home. Did a very Thorough job. would hire them again.

Everything went great. JT came out and assessed the issue and gave a reasonable estimate. He was also extremely personable and answered all questions I had and even explained how or why other companies may have quoted what they did. He gave me a few options to choose from and gave his explanation for why I didn't actually need to spend more money to get something else done. His team came out and did an excellent job on the house and showed before and after photos and cleaned up like they were never there. Overall it took them a little over a half day to complete the work. Job well done!

This review is long overdue (I hired AdvantaClean May of 2016), but I contacted AdvantaClean to check a little bit of mold I found on the ceiling of my unfinished basement. JT came and looked all around, the whole time he was pointing out a little mold here and there but also giving me tips on how to create an environment where mold won’t grow. To top it off he was very personable and we had a good conversation about other topics. What I liked about him was that he wasn’t pushy like most salesmen, he was honest and a day later gave me a quote which I felt was very good compared to other companies. I decided to hire his company to remediate my basement ceiling because of all the factors I mentioned. My basement wasn’t bad, but I figured why not. The team that came out consisted of JT’s son and two other men and they were all really nice and professional. They sealed my basement door and entered and exited via my basement window. The only gripe I had was that they didn’t turn off the furnace so the smell of the solution they used travelled through my house. Once I smelled the solution I asked them to turn off the furnace so it wasn’t a big deal for me. After they finished they walked me around showing me what they did and the next couple of days JT’s son came back and got the rest of the equipment. As far as the work they did, the wood on my basement ceiling looked brand new. Everyone that went down there said it looked so new and the best part of it all was that they removed all the mold. If I had any concerns or issues with mold in the future they would be the first company I contact. I highly recommend them.

Our unfinished basement had 30 years of accumulated clay dust from former use as a ceramic studio. In addition, large areas of the concrete floor were sawed and removed to replace main lines thus adding to the dust build up. Lets throw in a couple of floods which left 12-15 inch staining of the walls. Thankfully, no mold. Dust hung in the air and it felt heavy as you breathed every time you were in the basement. JT took 1 look and new his team could turn this basement into a healthy, usable space. Technicians; Marco, Tyler and Kevin were diligent, thorough, focused, respectful and very personable. All had good product knowledge and executed good team work. Multiple products were used and JT provided product information so we knew what to expect from each product and why they were used for our application. Results exceeded our expectations and the project was finished on time. Excellent value for the price! If you are looking for a company that understands what a healthy environment should smell and look like; then Advantaclean of Northwest Chicagoland is the one to hire!
