This went great for us. The shingles are still on our roof and it's looking good. I was satisfied with this service. I would use this provider in the future if needed.

They came out when they said they were going to and did what they said they were going to do. They were punctual and professional. Everything was good. Scheduling was fine. They called me and they set up a date. He was on time. It didn't take too long to do it. We had him come back and replace a skylight. That time the repair was fine, but I didn't know when he was coming and he left quite a bit of mess in the bathroom because no one was home.

Dave went above and beyond to bring the parts I mentioned I thought might be needed during his inspection. He completed the inspection and made some minor repairs at no extra charge. Thanks!

Martin came out and measured for size and checked the existing shingles around our old skylights. The crew came out, worked efficiently, checked carefully to make sure skylights were centered. Martin came out, checked things over and explained some things about the skylights. I am very happy with the results.

Unlike two other well rated Angie's list companies who never bothered to respond to our requests, DT responded quickly and professionally. Did an assessment of our roof and stated that it didn't need any work done now but probably in 3-5 years. Very impressed with their quick response and honest evaluation. When we do need a new roof we will definitely call DT construction.

He came out and looked at the house. I specifically told him there were loose shingles that needed to be nailed down, per the home inspection report that we had done previously. We began talking to him about hail damage and was there enough to file an insurance claim. He said it was a 50/50 chance that insurance would cover it. He had a helper up on the roof while speaking to us. They never moved the ladder around to the side of the house where the shingles were loose. When asked about it, he stated that he didn't see any... but he also said he didn't look on the other side of the house. This is the main reason I wanted him to come out. To nail down the loose shingles on the steep pitch of the roof that we could not reach! I mentioned this 2-3 times. He was only there about 15-20 minutes total. I called the insurance provider about hail damage and the insurance provider said he new the company well and would give them a call. We never heard back from either of them.

Good: Came right away. Checked out the whole roof inside (in a hot, wasp infested attic) and out. One person was simultaneously outside, while the other was in the attic. Answered any and all questions. Answers seemed logical and made sense. Did not even want to charge for visit and minor repairs. (Thankfully, Angie's List already had via an online offer/ deal.) Problematic: 1. Very difficult to reach. Left an initial service request message. Call not returned (even though I'd already paid via an Angie's List offer.) Angie's List staff had to make original contact. 2. Still not sure what he recommended for the visible leak in the entryway that prompted the service call in the first place. Called to ask. It is now several days later and no return call. 3. He placed a call to the gutter contractor he works with (while here). I took the telephone. Gutter contractor was going to call the next morning so we could arrange for his apptmt. He still hasn't called.

We were very pleased with the overall experience. Martin was very helpful and cooperative with all our requests. The roofing industry is going nuts right now trying to accommodate all roof replacements and Martin was very punctual in getting ours into his schedule. Within 2 weeks. The two crews who performed the work were very experienced and professional. They were very careful with our landscaping and meticulously cleaned up all debris. They were very efficient. Each one knew his job and the roofs were replaced in an amazingly short amount of time, with excellent results. The only snag was a two-week waiting period for the material for the gutter covers. This was not D.T.'s fault and as soon as the gutter covers arrived, they were installed.

After he was done, I asked him how to fix a part of the roof that had algae on it. He did not recommend power washing, as it would remove the shingles that we were trying to fix. Instead, he recommended replacing them, which we will do. He also gave us an estimate for fixing the shed roof. We will be seeing him more this summer.

Dave came out and inspected my roof as advertised. He found some lifted nails and missing caulking around a vent stack causing a leak. He fixed what he found wrong and gave me recommendations on what needed to be done to the roof. Scheduling went well. We were able to come up with a time that worked for both of us. He is very knowledgeable and easy to get along with!

Very well. Was told about repair and the process. Communication was excellent. Work was completed in a very timely manner.

It went very smoothly and they did a very professional job. They cleaned up after themselves and just did an excellent job.

The hail was still falling - popping off the ground 3-4 ft in the air. I knew this was bad and started looking right away for a roofing contractor. I saw where D T Construction was on Angie's List, so popped for the subscription fee in order to research reviews. On the strength of the 40+ reviews, I contacted Dave. He was out that very afternoon confirming that the roof indeed was severely damaged. He volunteered to be present for the inspection by the insurance adjuster, and the following Tuesday both were on top of the roof documenting and assessing the damages. Within an hour both had agreed on a plan of action and the appropriate cash settlement. I had a check in hand to begin the process. How convenient and hassle free! Materials were ordered and within two weeks Dave's crew was tearing off the roof. By the end of the next day a beautiful new roof was in place. Gutters were replaced a few days later and the job was done! What do I especially like about Dave and D T Construction? 1. They were prompt and on time for every appointment. 2. They were knowledgeable and professional - the work was done right with no messes or re-dos needed. 3. They were thorough - checking gutters, screens, window covers, decking, vents. 4. They were on-price. All repairs were in budget with no aggravating surprises. 5. They were courteous, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. Even the crew were just as professional and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. My wife and I have heartily recommended D T Construction to our friends/co-workers. Several have taken our advice and are experiencing the same high level of service.

We experienced golf ball sized hail in a recent storm which cased damage to our roof, siding, gutters, etc.... We had looked around for someone good to do the repairs on the house, tried the BBB for a referral, but got someone who offered us the option of insurance fraud and also pursued one of the "storm chasers" in the area, but realized that we might not get the continued service once they were done in the area and maybe not even good service to begin with. We were finally recommended to DT Construction by a friend who had some experience with roofing and siding. Dave was out quickly to check the house and did a great job assessing what the damage was and what the insurance might cover. He was there for us when the insurance adjuster came out. He was readily available throughout the process and I felt that I would get a response immediately nearly every time when he was contacted. He also helped us pick out some colors for the house, with some great advice on using decorative siding, which really made the house pop. The job was pushed back about a week from when he first expected to start construction on the house, due to weather. The roof was first and it was done in just one day. The shingles used were a great fit for our house. The brand was quality, but we noticed some discoloration to them after being installed, not very noticeable unless you're looking for it, but we will be following up with the manufacturer after 90 have passed if it doesn't clear up. Nothing to do with Dave though, he in fact was the one who pointed this out after the installation. The siding went up next, about 2.5 days to complete, but looked awesome when it was done. The decorative siding was a huge addition to the curb appeal to the house and the colors really worked together. We went with a few of his recommendations for the wraps and such and it really brought the house together. We also were able to get some prep work in for a future deck as well. The job went smooth, looks good and seems solid. We had a few minor issues, one strip of siding had been missed being nailed, which was fixed right away. We checked a large area of the siding after that and were unable to find any other problems similar, so it seemed to be just an accidental miss. Dave was there the whole way through and did a lot to make our house great. We appreciated his service and would recommend him to anyone.

When I first contacted the contractor he was very responsive and gave a very detailed explanation of what he would do to fix our issues. We did have some delays based on weather but felt that he gave some excuses as to why he could not do the work. We did get a bit worried, we had sent him a small amount of down payment and did not want to lose that money. My husband did call David and seemed to work. David completed the work and it looked fabulous. WE are very happy with the results. I would have given an A rating if we had not had excuses in the beginning, I do understand things come up but I just like to be in the loop. Thanks.

For what he did, he seemed professional. He knows what he is doing and he is responsive. On price, I think he is competitive.

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING WORK ETHICS!!! The roofers were so meticulous about their work that they completely covered bushes, plants, shrubs and left my yard in wonderful shape... so did the siding crew! The work is so professionally completed in every regard, from the roof/gutters/gutter covers to the siding with beautiful care in the trimming around windows, etc. The excellent, hard-working, polite crews were second to none. If anyone reading this has doubts about having DT Construction work for them, dismiss those doubts now. THEY ARE OUTSTANDING IN EVERY REGARD. I am so glad I called them instead of accepting work from others who left flyers or came to my door. I chose them after checking Angie's List, and am so pleased!!! If I ever consider any other building/repair needs, they will be my choice without hesitation! AGAIN, OUTSTANDING!!! Happy, happy, happy! : )

Martin agreed to meet with me while the insurance adjuster was examining my roof for damage. I signed a contract the same day and five days later my materials were delivered. Would have starting roofing the next day but for weather. First nice day, the crew showed up at 7 AM started the tear-off. Martin stopped by to check on progress. The entire project was completed by 4. The crew was friendly, efficient, and did a great job. They even swept my entire deck as part of the clean-up process. Highly recommend.

A very good experience from beginning to end. Dave came out and inspected the entire roof and provided a quote describing all work to be performed along with pricing. We found the quote to be competitive with other companies in the area. We choose DT Construction based Dave's knowledge and our comfort level with him. The crew always showed up on time. They were professional, kept the job site clean when they left, they answered all of our questions along the way. Dave was on sight daily as promised. The work was completed in the timeframe promised and the price quoted. We will definitely use DT Construction in the future...and would highly recommend to others

The problem was not so much with the quality of their work but the materials they used. I instructed them to replace plywood around the skylight because it had been leaking and there was some mold in the attic, they did not replace the boards in that area and I had to have them come back to redo it. Also on their invoice it was spelled out that they would use a certain brand of shingle which would have matched the existing shingles. They substituted another brand which did not match and was very obvious. I called them on it and was told they would address the situation. That never happened. I called them numerous times, left messages with no response. It was never taken care of. I latter noticed on Angies list that there were other people that had similiar problems with them not returning to correct problems and not responding to calls.

They were very professional and cost effective. We highly recommend them.

They did exactly what they said they would do at the price they said when they said they would.

We Thought he would have matched the other quote but He didn't .

I had been trying to get a general contractor to come and give me a bid for a garage addition, with residing, reroofing, windows and doors for months. I happened to see one of D. T. Construction's employees repairing a roof down the street form my house. I asked Marty, (the man on the repair) if he could come down and take a look for me. Without hesitation he said he would and came down as soon as they finished the roof they were repairing. I am an avid DIY person and really have NEVER had a contractor to the house in over 25 years, I have added a window, removed walls and added a powder-room including my own plumbing and electric, so I never needed one before. Marty took all the information, my rough drawing of what I was looking to do and, very importantly, LISTENED to what my needs and wants were. He took everything and ran with it. I had about a 30K budget and between Marty and Dave (the owner) they put together two bids for me. One was the Dream bid of a 24 X 30 garage with the other work I needed done on the house. The second bid was for the 24 X 24 garage with the other work I needed. I know that they tried to get me into my dream garage but my budget just was not there. We did the smaller garage 24 X 24, that they fit into the $$ that I had budgeted. Dave got hold of me within a day or two, even though I first talked to Marty on a Saturday, to talk to me about coming out to see the project. We made an appointment and THEY SHOWED UP!! After dealing with about 8 - 12 other contractors that never even called back or never showed, this was only the first surprise of many good things to come. Dave, Marty, and I discussed what I wanted to do, and within a week they had put together the 2 bids that they said they would do for me. As I said earlier I went with the bid that fit my budget. D. T. Construction (Dave) contracted the complete job including: excavation, foundation, flat-work, framing, electrical, roof on the garage and siding on the garage. I also had D. T. redo the remainder of the house's roof, wrap and siding, new windows and storm door, gutters and soffits. They always showed up when they said they would, worked within the schedule Dave promised and the job went so smoothly I was amazed. The ONLY hiccup on the entire project was with one window. The front of the house was to have 3 double-hung windows installed where a picture window was already on the house. The window representative listened to my request and said there would be no problem building the window I wanted, but he (the window rep.) still ordered the incorrect window. As soon as the problem was realized Dave was on the phone with the window supplier. The window supplier offered to give me a break on the price of the window. Dave and I talked about it and I decided that I did not want the incorrect window, I wanted the window that I wanted. Dave assured me that what I wanted was what he would do! He was back on the phone with the window supplier right away. The correct window was ordered but would take 4-5 weeks to be made, Dave confirmed with me that I could wait and that whenever the window came in HE would come back and install the window. I felt that the window company should have made it worth Dave's time and effort to come back and finish the window, but Dave made it correct for us. Dave and Marty, finished everything but that window so that we would have the house as close to being done as possible, then came back the day after the window arrived and finished the house up. If I EVER need a Great contractor again, let me say that again a Great contractor, I would not hesitate to call D. T. Construction. I have already boasted and recommended them to others. From the first scoop of dirt, to the last nail in the trim, I am completely satisfied with the job.

Few days later starting project than planned but that was due to weather. Arrived on time, with crew and completed job in one day. Courteous, professional and cleaned up all debris. Roof looks great.
