Affordable Artistry did an outstanding job for us. They painted both interior and exterior as well wicker furniture for us. Their attention to detail, knowledge of paint, and preparation made everything look like new. They were easy to have around and did great clean-up. In fact, we're going to have them back to do more. I highly recommend them.

Scheduling was easy and I had no problems. We had them complete work beyond what was included in the deal. They completed the job in the time frame projected and they cleaned up well. My experience with them was great overall!

The first time I saw the room after they completed the job I was amazed. What a difference this made to the room. I was very pleased and would definitely hire Affordable Artistry Painting & Refinishing again.

They service provider was unresponsive to my calls. If they were to call me, I think I would consider to use them in the future.

This is the second time I have used Scott and his son to remove wallpaper. The first time was a much larger job (several rooms) but this time was just one room. Scott is reliable and shows up when he says he will, and he gets the job done promptly. He is good about covering and protecting furniture and floors and cleans up nicely when he is finished. I find his pricing to be very reasonable (he charges by the hour) and I am so happy I did not have to strip the wallpaper myself!

They are a small company so they were booked very far in advance. They painted 3-4 different areas including, two levels of stairwell, living room, and hallway. They were upfront about the additional charges which I was ok with and felt were reasonable.

Sanded and painted our front door to look like new. He also patched up drywall in two places in the living room ceiling, removed wallpaper and painted our living room, dining room and front hall. Scott does an excellent job in painting and is very neat. He does a really good job removing wallpaper and painting. He is punctual, responsible, neat and friendly. We will positively use his services again.

It was really good. They worked really hard and the job turned out to be more of a monster than they estimated. It involved a lot of wallpaper stripping. They put in a lot of extra effort trying to beat the goal they had estimated. They were very professional and they knew what they were doing.

The end result was awesome! My deck looked brand new. Scott paid very close attention to detail while he worked and cleaned up after himself nicely. He also communicated everything that he was going to do very well and asked me if I had any other concerns before he was finished! The following weekend we had a birthday party at our house and everyone complimented me on my choice of contractors after seeing the deck( a few guests even thought it was new) I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to Affordable Artistry in the future. This is the second time I have used Affordable Artistry. Scott and his son Chris do great work. On this particular job, there was a lot of prep and holes to patch. Scott made the blemishes disappear and after the paint dried, the rooms looked new. I will happily call them again for my next painting project.

They were very formal, and in just one day were able to do a large living room and a TV room. I will hire them for future projects without hesitation.

Severe weather delayed their start. They called to inform me that they were running late. With tornado sirens blaring I was surprised they arrived when they did. Both were personable and courteous. They promptly set to work, covering the floors even between kitchen and bath. Clean up afterward was good. No wall gouges to report. They were done in 3 hours so the 8 hours Special Deal was overkill. I had no idea how long removal would take when signing up. My only complaint is that they forgot to plug in my refrigerator when done. Luckily, I thought to check after they were gone. A refrigerator full of spoiled food would not have made me a happy camper. Other than that one oversight I am content.

They were very good. I would give them top rating.

The work was neat & well-done. They moved all furniture for us used lots of dropcloths and put everything back in place afterwards. You would never have known they were here very clean & neat. Also performed a little touch up on a wall that they didn't paint which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend Affordable Artistry.

It’s another big deal coupon. I actually have them come out and work on the drywall on the garage and hatchets and poles that were actually in my garage. They are fantastic as well. He was actually pretty proactive in contacting me when he found out about that I have already Angie’s List. He contacted me and then wanted to find out when he could come out and take a survey of what kind of work that I needed and then from that initial visit then we set up a time and he gave me an estimates which I found very reasonable and then on top of that I did get additional services with him to patch up a hole in my ceiling that connected to my attic and he charge a little bit additional on top of that but I found it very reasonable. The work that he did he came out probably within a week after. We scheduled when he made the initial contact. He was extremely prompt, great work and I’m really pleased with the way my garage came out from the drywall and of course the patch above the ceiling was really, really nice with professional best. I would certainly give "A" across the board. I would – I really like his professionalism in the way he was proactive in contacting me and making the initial contact. Certainly if I had need of these services and came across this and I would definitely use them again.

I got a big deal and he and his son came to do the work. I was leary about him using half his hours with his son as some younger workers don't have the skills and work ethic of their fathers. No to worry; his son was very good. He was a hard worker and respectful. They both focused on their work, despite inspectors and others coming in and out. The quality of the work was excellent and they cleaned up after themselves. Plus, they both have good personalities so it was no problem having them in the house. They are non smokers.

Very pleased. I'd use them again.

We purchased two 'deals' to get 32 hours worth of painting for $798. My husband and I both feel like we got our money's worth, and then some. Scott painted my living room/hallway (3 coats to cover a deep plum with a light neutral to ready the house for resale), a bathroom and my kitchen. He was also great about helping with a few odd jobs - a patch of ceiling that needed painting, etc. Scott and his son Chris did a terrific job; our walls looked beautiful and they left the work area clean and tidy when they were done.

Scott came by to give an estimate prior to the appointment. He and his son arrived on time the day of the appointment, were respectful and cleaned up after themselves. They also did a really good job!

I'm very happy. They did a great job. They cleaned up well. They finished the room that I wanted them to do in less than my 8 hours so they even took another wallpaper down in the other room so I was very happy with that. I had no problems with them at all. I thought they did very well. They even offered to come back the another day and finish the second room at a reduced cost. I got the deal and I thought that was a really good price but at their regular price, I'd probably give them a B.

Service was good. Kept me informed during the work and was a good value.

| |We bought an Angie's Big Deal for $169 for 8 hours of wall paper removal. We then also decided to have them paint the walls as well. Scott and his son did a great job at repairing the walls and painting. They were on time and cleaned up after themselves every day. Both areas look much better than before. However, I clearly underestimated the amount of work the job would require and admittedly was taken a bit off guard by the final cost. Based on the quality of their work I would certainly considering using again in the future.
