Scott painted the entire first floor of our home which included several very difficult / complex areas to include kitchen cabinets, central / lower staircase, a very complicated dining room ceiling, and living room that with large built-in cabinets. Quality of workmanship was fantastic. Scott was great to work with and we appreciated the open dialogue where he would share his viewpoint and expertise. We "trust" Scott!!! He has consistently demonstrated an ability to exceed our expectations as he has worked in our home over the last six months. I would gladly recommend Scott, and provide referral if asked.

terrible...this guy took my money and screwed up the garage floor not once but twice then begged me top pay him said he needed money ...i stupidly paid him and he took my money and the next day i went out of town and he text me he quit the job would not fix what he screwed up and would not return my money...that to me is a THIEF...this guy is bad news and now he is using my pictures of my house on his website that i did not approve...THIS GUY IS BAD NEWS AND MNOT TO BE TRUSTED

Everything went great! We had Scott out to remove our popcorn ceiling and repaint our living room, hallway and kitchen. Scott was very careful to cover everything and cleaned up nicely afterwards. The final product was fabulous! Scott is a dedicated professional and very meticulous about his work. We have had several gatherings at our home since his work and continue to receive compliments on the work performed by Affordable Artistry. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Quality work at a reasonable price.

Scott was great. The job turned into a much bigger project than initially anticipated. Scott worked with us, submitting a very detailed analysis of why the scope of work had increased. His prices were very fair and he was always available to answer any questions or concerns. Would definitely hire again.

Overall, everything went very well. As noted in another review, Scott and his team are not rushing through the job just to finish. They take their time and do an excellent job. It might take longer than expected, but the overall result combined with the price is fantastic.

Scott is absolutely fantastic. He is very accessible and showed lot of flexibility. He is very slow and meticulous in his work with an eye for detail. He takes care of the work area and doesn't leave a mess. He is very professional. For example, at first I was not satisfied with the finish on my cabinet doors. So he reworked it to my satisfaction. I had other work going in parallel and Scott was flexible with his dates to accommodate the schedule. He went over and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the work. The price was not cheap but it is fair, and the quality of work justified the price. I would definitely hire him again

My bathroom looks great! Originally I hired Scott to just paint my bathroom. But after talking with him, I decided to also have him lay new tile and remove and replace my bathroom vanity. Scott is a man of his word and the estimates provided for the work he did never changed, even where he ran in to a few issues. (I have a very old house). He was also diligent in providing receipts for everything not included in his initial estimate. I highly recommend Affordable Artistry and would most definitely hire him again.

Work was never scheduled or completed. We sent a signed contract with deposit and then spoke with the contractor regarding his making a schedule for work to commence. Then we never heard from him again with no response to multiple phone calls, voice mails, emails and communication via Angie's List system. This went on for months before we voided the contract and canceled the deposit check (to his credit the check had never been cashed). Very poor or non-existent communication and customer service!

Got the 16 hour painting deal for 499.00. It was a great deal for us. Scott was pleasant to work with and communicated clearly what could be done in the 16 hour time frame. Scott and Christopher do not paint fast, and I mean that as a compliment, they do the job correctly. I had two different finishes in the dining room and a LOT of trim work to be done. It looks perfect and no mess was left behind. I also had a large living room area with crown molding and doors to be painted, that room also looks spectacular. We are happy with the work that was done, the price was better than fair, it truly was a bargain for us.

It went okay. I didn't have to pay any more. The communication could have been better and the responses could have been faster. It was just basically returning calls and e-mails. They were kind of working with my schedule. They left the area very clean once they were finished. I thought the price was good. They were on time.

Purchased a 16-hour (two painters for a day) deal for $399 on Angie's List. Overall, Scott and his son did a good job on our painting project. However, we did incur a number of change orders whereby the original cost increased from $1400 to $2100. This was in large part due to the bid not including the proper amount of wall prep work (skim coat, sanding, repeat...) during the quote process. Also, the amount of prep and paint product(s) was underestimated. This part of the process could have and should have been handled better. In general, I am still amazed at how little you can get prepped/painted in 16 hours (two painters @ 8 hrs). Despite the increased cost, the prep/painting work itself was performed professionally and to our satisfaction. Just wished we would not have been hit with so many costly surprises.

Went well. A little over the timeframe allotted, but very good work. Cleaned up after themselves every day.

We are completely satisfied! Scott and Christopher did a beautiful job. They were prompt, professional, neat and friendly. They paid attention to detail and took great pride in their craft. I recommend them highly.

They did a good job. I think it was a little confusing time wise. They kept putting her off and putting her off. It took several months for them to get back to her. I thought the price was fair.
