The employees who have come are on time, friendly, and professional. They get the job done in a timely, yet thorough manner. Our experience with the company has been very positive and we plan to continue to hire them for both our annual heating and a/c checks.

They are extremely knowledgeable and go above and beyond to provide great customer service and I will continue to use them. I interviewed several companies for my new furnace. I also needed recommendations for putting a new return in one room and creating less noise from a return in another room. John (the owner) spent a lot of time with me coming up with a solution that has really improved my home. They were happy to answer all of my many questions about the products as well as how everything works, and have continued to do so over the past year anytime I have called or emailed. I recently had them install a furnace humidifier and it works great. All of the employees are extremely professional and informative. I also purchased both years their annual maintenance program for annual checks of the furnace and a/c unit. I called their service a few times on weekends (I'm new to having a furnace and needed assistance on using a few things) and someone called me back right away each time.

I called several places from Angie's list to get quotes for my project. A total of four companies gave me quotes between $3100 - $3400. JNL was right in the middle of that. I was about to go with a different contractor, until Kurt from JNL called to follow up (for the third or forth time) and asked what he could do to earn my business. I said if he matched the lowest quote I got, with 0% financing, I would go with him, which he did. A service/install guy (Andrew) came out a few days later to install the new unit. It took about four hours, as expected, and when he was finished, we tested it out and nothing worked. He stayed around to troubleshoot the problem. Turns out my breaker in my box was faulty. He installed a new one and everything worked great. I didn't get charged for any of the extra time or the new breaker.Kurt and JNL were very persistent during the researching process, calling to follow up several times. They almost seemed a bit desperate, but it worked to my advantage, as I got a lower price because of that. The other contractor that I asked JNL to match at $3100 didn't seem quite as professional, so I feel like I got a good, solid contractor at a cheaper contractor's price.

I would recommend JNL Climate Control Inc. The heater breaker went out the day after he had been here. He came out that day and fixed it. They are available 24 hours a day, so, that is nice. Their prices are average. I will continue to use them in the future.

I have used JNL for maintenance for many years. In 2011 I had reason to replace my Heater/AC & Water Heater. In both instances they were very punctual, professional and personable. I will continue to use JNL Clinate Control, and regularly recommend them to friends, neighbors & co-workers.

I interviewed three Heating and A/C contractors and JNL was by far the most impressive. John (turns out he is one of the owners) came at the scheduled time in order to provide me with the quote. John discussed what I wanted to do and then asked me some questions. He was the only contractor to ask how often and at what temperatures I normally use the air conditioners. In addition John measured the entire house in order to determine what size units I would need; something neither of the other contractors did. In addition I was interested in finding a solution to the temperature discrepancies between my furnished basement and 1st floor. Those two floors share an A/C unit and a heater and rarely are both comfortable. In the Spring and Fall the basement could use more heat while the 1st floor might be comfortable and in the summer the basement does not require A/C but the 1st floor does. John gave me 3 possible solutions with one being a set of very inexpensive manual dampers. Last but not least John told me that one of my humidifiers had been installed in such a way that if it ever leaked that it would short out my heater and that they would move it to a safer place. JNL's price was competitive with the other contractors and I felt they were the only company who was actually ensuring that I bought the correct units for my house. On installation day Kevin and Nick arrived on time and worked hard all day to ensure the work was completed by that evening. They seem to have done a quality job and the air conditioning units work great. They were installed on a very hot and humid day so by the time I turned the units on the house was 87 degrees upstairs and 84 degrees on the 1st floor. The units worked excellent and cooled the house without a problem despite the upstairs unit being downsized from 3 tons to 2 1/2 tons (saved me money and will save me electricity). I was very impressed with JNL and the job they did. It appears from the other two contractors that I interviewed that quite a few companies basically just send sales guys to your house who will try to simply replace your existing units wither they are correct or not. They don't measure the house nor determine if your needs are being met by what you have. Quite frankly you have to have an awful lot of trust in the previous owner or builder to use one of those companies. One quote I received the contractor couldn't even correctly determine which existing A/C unit cooled which floors. JNL took the time to do a quality job for me.

They were very responsive, courteous, and all around a good experience. One reason it was so expensive is because it was a 95% energy efficient unit which will become law I believe in the year 2014. This includes more labor with putting in new piping as well as the quality of product. They even put little booties on and also laid carboard down where they were walking in and out of the house, which was very professional of them. They were also very good with my two dogs.

I have had a good experience with them. They have always been very helpful to us; they give us tips to help our furnace and A/C work well. We have a year contract with them.

They were very nice to talk to. They helped us decide which units we should be getting for our home. They did a very good job in installing the furnace and air conditioner.

We've been very, very pleased with them. We had them come out initially to let us know about the heating system, because we lived in an apartment and didn't know, and they explained the system to us, how it worked and what needed to be done. They've been out each year, spring and fall for the last two years, to be sure our system was still running. There have been a couple of things maintenance-wise that they alerted us to doing that have made the systems work better. We've just been very pleased. We like the fact that they took time to explain what was needed and why, and how to do it. Some of it was things that we could have called them and they could have gotten a service call out of it, but instead they explained to us what to do. The guy was very nice and willing to explain and take the time. They came when they said they would. We love it because we would take time going to work late when they were coming, and they were very good about being on time. They haven't had to do a lot but they've been very good at what they have done.

Kurt was very thorough in his estimate and his presentation. When the A/C unit couldn't be ordered in time for the original scheduled installation date, he sent out one of his service techs to get our old furnace running again for the handful of days we had to wait until the equipment was available. AT NO CHARGE! Jimmy and Andrew, the installers, were professional, courteous, and excellent craftsman. They put up with all my questions and showed me what they were doing. They clearly took pride in their work. The work was done on time, and they explained the operation of the new equipment in detail. They were neat, using drop cloths to prevent tracking dirt in the house, and cleaned up all the debris from the old equipment and hauled it all away.

My experience with them was very good overall because everything was clean and they told us exactly how to use everything like the thermostat. They had a much better knowledge of the furnaces than other people we received estimates from.

They show up when they say there going to be there. They are very courteous when they are their working. They always answer all the questions that we ask.

Things could not have gone better. Kurt the salesman was extremely knowledgeable. He did not try to upsell us to the most expensive equipment. When asked about the higher end models, he gave us the pros and cons of each so we could make the decision. We asked him to quote on three different model levels. The quote arrived within a few days of out initial meeting. After meeting Kurt and reading the quote we decided not to get additional quotes. Kurt's knowledge and their reputation was all we needed to select them as our provider. The installers were extremely knowledgeable and did excellent work. The new ductwork was much cleaner then previous. They even re-did the flue from our water heater and incorporated in the ductwork. To make things easier, they moved the humidifier from its previous location (sandwiched between the furnace and wall) to the spot that is easy for us to get at to replace the filter. Small details were not overlooked. They realized the old AC was incorrectly wired to the main circuit breaker and did not have separate line. (A potential hazardous situation). They rewired the electrical according to code. There was no additional charge for this. Also they replaced the Gas cut-off valve for the furnace. Again the attention to detail further confirmed we made a right decision in hiring them. Lastly, they took the time to walk me through using the new thermostat due to the additional features it contained. They were very clean and even swept the area by our furnace after installation was complete.

We opted not to go with JNL because of price. Kurt, one of the owners, came to our house and was very professional and knowledgeable. My husband asked lots of detailed questions and Kurt explained them all clearly and patiently. He followed up periodically during our decision making process. It took us a few weeks to decide because we were coordinating with a builder. We ultimately chose the heating company our contractor had worked with before, but had we not had that recommendation, we would have hired JNL. Hopefully our job goes well with "the other guy!"

I was pleased with their service and professionalism. They know what they're doing and they were careful to give me a detailed estimate of the work needed before proceeding. They talked over the options with me and gave me time to make up my mind. The work was done on time and everything was cleaned up properly.

I made an appointment to have our AC checked for the first time in 5 years. JNL worked to accommodate my schedule for the appointment. The service man arrived 15 minutes early, which was great, and finished the work within 30 minutes. He was very knowledgeable, personable and professional.

The estimate of $238 was quoted to me for one visit in the fall and spring for maintenance of heating and cooling systems. This was by far the highest quote I have seen for general seasonal maintenance for a two-year-old system.

THE GENTLEMAN WHO CAME WAS TIMELY. HE WAS DUE TO ARRIVE BETWEEN 9-11AM AND ARRIVED AT 9:15. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS AND EFFICIENT. HE EXPLAINED WHAT HE WAS DOING, ADVISED ON SOME WEAR HE WAS SEEING AND MADE RECOMMENDATIONS. HE WAS EXCELLENT!
