This was a very positive experience. Chad Davis was terrific - very professional, pleasant, and provided excellent and quick service.

The plumber was prompt and helpful. He was very willing to assess and discuss the repairs before beginning any work.

Stephens Plumbing and Heating is wonderful and helpful. They have pricing options. The plumber was very good. They arrived early and was done with the job early. I was very impressed. The work was worth the money.

Had a problem with hot water duration in the upstairs bathroom. Knew I had to eventually replace the hot water heater (11 years old) had plumber come over - they gave me a bid to replace it. When he came to do the work, he also replaced cartridge in upstairs bathroom. Long story short, I didn't have any hot water - they came over on Saturday am, and tried to solve the mystery - ie. the hot water heater was working but I was not getting any hot water. He spent alot of time trying to figure out what was wrong. Turns out the previous owners had done the plumbing themselves and messed up the hot/cold water piping. They were very responsive and tenacious in trying to resolve the issue - which they finally did.

I called Stephens at 7:10 a.m. At 8:10 a.m., Jeff arrived. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had the part on the truck. 30 minutes later, he was gone and the indoor temperature was climbing.

Rich called before he came out the same day we called. I was surprised to have same day service for this purpose. He determined that we needed to replace our sump. He replaced the sump expeditiously and cleaned up.

I would highly, highly recommend Stephens Plumbing. They were really nice over the phone, came out the next day, assessed the situation as needing a new part. They said they didn't want us to have to wait, so they called another technician to drive the part over to our house so they were able to fix the sink in very short order. They were really a pleasure to deal with.

Very well. I called in the morning and someone was at my house promptly at 10:00am. He was very friendly and seemed to know exactly what the problem was. He was at my house for approx. 1/2 hour. In the afternoon my washer would not drain and I called back and another gentleman came back and rodded out the basement drain.

Stephens Heating did a really good job. They were very punctual. They were professional and friendly. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly. I am completely satisfied with the service that was provided. I would use them again in the future.

Our ejector pump started acting up during the heavy rains last fall- making noise during heavy rains. After doing some digging, I realized our sump pump (keep basement and crawl space dry) and ejector pump (sewer and waste water from basement) were both 19 years old. While neither had died yet, they were both well past the expected life span and we decided to replace before they failed. We picked Stephen's based on the Angie's List reviews and they were great. Brian quickly analyzed our setup and offered options. From start to finish, it was just under five hours. Plumbing work isn't cheap, but Brian was quick and efficient and we're happy with the outcome. He also provided maintenance tips to extend the life of the battery backup pump (engage it during a big storm every so often so it doesn't dry out). The output pipe from our sump pump was too close to the house - I had attached some hosing so that the water would drain away further from the house to avoid over-working the pump. Brian securely installed a PVC extension as a more permanent and less obtrusive solution.

I have always valued the work of Stephens Plumbing. Their prices may be on the high side at times if you compare to others, but I have NEVER had a problem with ANY of their workers. This is the first time that Rich was at my place so far as I know and I am delighted to report that he is just as courteous, reliable, and knowledgeable as all of the other workers at Stephens. They hire outstanding workers who care about their work and are always willing to answer questions at any time. Very highly recommended!

It was about a five-hour job, start to finish. It went wonderfully well. They did it very cleanly, quickly, and carefully. They didn't demolish anything they shouldn't have. The work they installed in its place was top-notch.

I called in December because I was experiencing a loud pipe vibrating noise from the basement when I ran the washer or turned the kitchen faucet off too quickly. Kelly came out the next day and instructed me to open all the faucets and flush all the toilets. He began turning on the water again. I told him I forgot about one tub and one shower (sorry about that, Kelly) and he had me go back and open them and continued. That seemed to work for a few weeks, then the noise started again. I called again and Kelly was here the next day. This time I followed the directions explicitly and I have not heard any noises at all from the pipes. I have done numerous loads of laundry, tried to turn the faucet in the kitchen off quickly and I cannot make that noise happen. I was not charged a second trip charge, only for Kelly's time and I was happy to do that. I have been living with this noise for seven years and many plumbers have tried to fix it to no avail and never wanted to come back and try again. Thank you again, Stephens Plumbing, for being a great contractor!

They were very very good. They were fast, efficient and I was very confident after they left that the problems was definitely fixed. They were expensive but I would definitely use them again because I know they will do the job right.

The price was good, they were clean, professional, and fast. It couldn't have been better.

In the first visit, it appeared to go fine - the basement drain cleared up and kitchen trap appeared to work right. However, within 8 weeks the basement drain was backed up again on a Saturday. On calling, he said he will charge $280 to come out!! He was rude initially, but mellowed down when I mentioned we got his name from Angie's List and will be posting a review.

I was very satisfied with their work. They did a good job, and they had a fair price.

Our service person, Rich, arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. The location of the trap was difficult to access (in fact, another plumber had told us he couldn't do it). He completed the job in much less time than he thought it would take and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. My wife and I were both very impressed. We would certainly call them again.

I came home at about 1:00 pm to find that my main sewer line had backed up. I looked up the plumber who had done the work previously and attempted to call him. No luck. Out of business or changed his number. So I looked at Angies list and saw Stephens plumbing. I had noticed their trucks in my neighborhood and noted the positive feedbacks for them. I called at about 2:25 and at 3:10 the doorbell rang. Kelly assessed the situation immediately and asked if I had a clean out trap. I informed him that the previous "Joe the Plumber" had gone through the opening for the basement toilet. Kelly said that he has worked on numerous homes like mine in the area and said there is a trap behind the wall in the closet of the basement bedroom. I had cut a small hole in the wall previously as per "Joe the Plumber" but did not see a trap. Kelly and I then revolved the cover for the small hole I had cut and using a mirror and light he found the trap just where he said it would be, near the floor. Kelly cut the drywall to gain access to the trap and began to work. Steve showed up to assist Kelly and by 4:25 the work was done and they were gone. Kelly explained that the back up was due to root problems. He also explained in detail all my options available to correct the problem. I won't hesitate to call on Stephens for any of my plumbing needs.

Very professional. The repairman had to climb around in our crawl space and basement to find the location of the ball and then had to cut open the pipe to remove it. He was very neat and when he was finished presented my guilty son with the lost ball.

My ejector pump made a terribly loud noise shaking the upstairs and waking us up. It also was pumping every hour even though water was not being used. I had another plumber look at the problem. They merely drilled some holes in the pipe resulting in more frequent pumping and water spraying outside of the lid. Stephens came out the day I called, to evaluate the problem. They analyzed several problems. The valve was placed too low, the plumbing line were attached directly to the master bedroom floor joices, the pump was not working efficiently and the holes drilled were spraying water in an upwards direction forcing water out of the lid. They scheduled a work day 5 days later. They were right on time. There were 2 plumbers present, (my ceilings are 14 feet high and they needed 2 people). They replumbed the lines to attach to the basement wall, they installed a "quiet" valve, and replaced the pipe and pump. Now I don't even notice that the pump is going off. It only works when water is being used in the basement and now I can sleep all night long in the master bedroom without being scared awake by a loud boom. The estimate for the work was within $4 over the actual work done. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again if I needed any plumbing done.

The service was excellent. I called on Wednesday, and he was at my house on Thursday. He worked around my schedule, called 15 min before arrival, diagnosed the problem, and gave me options. I chose to replace the motor. Brian was clean, efficient, and explained everything he did. He explained my warranties and showed me what to do in an emergency. He was polite and professional. I would definitely call this company again, and I would refer this company to everyone.

I have used their services before. I like that they are honest and will talk to you. One time they walked me through a problem on the phone. I appreciate their integrity. They have reasonable prices compared to the competition.

I called Stephens Plumbing at 9:30 in the morning and explained that neither toilet would flush. They offered to come out that morning. I explained that we had doctors appointments and would not be home until 12:30. They said fine and were there by 1:00. Rich was neatly dressed and very professional. He started snaking out the outdoor trap. After much effort and no luck he went at it from inside the house. It took a lot of work but he managed to find the blockage and remove it. He did a great job and helped get us up and running. I will use this company again.

They were great and very efficient. They are very diligent. They came out everyday and they were even on time. I didn't have any issues with them and I would recommend them to others. They were very pleasant people to work with. I would use them again.
