Description of Work: Diagnosed the problem with air conditioning unit. Unit was not heating properly. Previous provider overfilled unit with freon. Other provider indicated I needed a new unit at a cost of $4,000. Fire 'N' Ice released the excess freon, and unit now works properly. Saved me a lot of money. They'll be the first one I call next time.

Description of Work: Would not recommend to anybody overpriced and very misleading. Just moved in this area did not know anybody in area called them and the man that came over was really nice to my face and really a scammer he said i needed new furnaces and i starting crying and he didnt even care also i got another opionion and i fid not need new furnaces i wis i would i knew thus before cause i paid them a lotbof monet for fixing things in our house andvthey were so expensive and MISLEADING

+ -1 moreThey did such a fantastic job and I am happy with it. All is working fine now. When I called them it was after hours, but the person called me back in less than ten minutes. I could not believe it. It only took them like an hour to get here and get it fixed. It was unbelievable. I was glad though because it was hot.
Description of Work: The motor had burned out in the compressor of my 3.5 ton air conditioning unit, so Fire & Ice fixed it for me.

+ -1 moreAfter the first contractor told us it would cost $500 plus to fix and that it was very likely that some of the needed parts were no longer being made, Fire & Ice came in, immediately located and fixed the problem, noting that all the parts needed for any repair of our furnace and common and readily available. Like the first contractor, F & I recommended that we replace the furnace in the very near future.
Description of Work: Our furnace stopped working so we called this contractor to diagnose the problem and make the repair.

There was no pressure to sell me the most expensive system. The installation was completed in the time and cost estimated. The crew members were professional, friendly, and did a great job of cleaning up once they were done. I would hire them again.

Description of Work: MY AIR CONDITIONING STOPPED ON A VERY HOT DAY. F & I SENT A TECHNICIAN OUT PROMPTLY. BASED ON THE ASSESSMENT THAT I NEEDED A NEW MOTOR AND THE FACT THAT THE UNIT WAS VERY OLD, I OPTED TO INSTALL A NEW SYSTEM. F & I SENT A SALESMAN OUT WITHIN TWO HOURS, AND HE WAS VERY HELPFUL REGARDING MY CHOICE OF A NEW UNIT (IT HAD TO ALLOW FOR SOME PLANNED NEW CONSTRUCTION). THEY HAD THE NEW SYSTEM (AND HUMIDIFIER) INSTALLED THE SAME DAY.
