Anderson Window & Gutter Cleaning

The first few times we used Anderson, it was a little rocky (service times, quote vs. actual cost), but more-recent service has been excellent. The windows couldn't be cleaner.

I had problems in the past, and this company provided me with proof of insurance, which made me feel good. They came out with 2 people, which assured me they were being safe with my problems from the past. They were good communicators through the process.

Problems with company include: 1. Sub-contractor laid drainage pipe at 7 am on a Sunday morning (5/9/2010). 2.. Sub-contractor performing work did not complete job. The opening of the drainage pipe was left 12 inches under the ground. I completed job myself by raising the drain opening with an aluminum air duct and two clamps. Then filled open hole in yard with dirt. 2. Met with Tom Anderson to compaline about work; he did not apologized for poor quality work performed. Did remove $60 for "aggravation." 3. Inaccurate billing - final bill was for full estimated cost after a 50% up-front payment. Tom Anderson attempted to double the over cost of project. Fortunately I had a copy of the original estimate and Tom Anderson agreed bill was inaccurate.

They did not do a good job at all. They missed a couple windows and left a giant mess around the house. The workers they sent out did not have a lot of experience and I would not use them again in the future. The price was decent.

I had used Anderson previously to clean my gutters and called for an estimate on a gutter repair. They came out and cleaned the gutters as well as providing estimate. I ended up paying for the service since, it was time to have them cleaned anyway.

The cost was reasonable. They were efficient. The only complaint I had was that I told them to be careful so they wouldn't scratch the gutters, and they did scratch them. They didn't take precautions such as putting up a towel like other companies have done. I was disappointed with that.

They always do a great job. We are very happy with them and will definitely continue to use them.

I called on Monday for an estimate. Someone called back and said the cleaning would be done that week. No one called or came the rest of the week. I called on Monday and I was told someone would call me back. No one did. I called again later Monday afternoon and was told that someone would come on that day. No one came or called. I called again on Tuesday and told them forget it. I wasted 8 days of good weather on this nonresponsive company. Don't make the same mistake as I did,

The work went well until the clean up. The technician came out the next day and cleaned the gutters--it was dark when I arrived home. He did a good job but failed to clean up all the leaves in the back of the house. I ended up cleaning it myself. When I called the manager the next day she was very rude and demeaning. She stated I should have left the leaves and the technician would have returned to clean up. I stated she did not inform me of this policy and asked for a reduction in my invoice. She would not reduce it and continued to lecture me about her policy. I wrote a letter stating I was taking $50 off the invoice due to an incomplete job.

They were very good. We'll call back to do our gutters.

They gave me a repair estimates as well. I am trying to figure if I want to repair it or replace with new gutters. I wasn't home for cleaning, but everything overall was good.

They answered on first call and came the next day. I requested an estimate, and they gave me a range of $100 to $200. I assumed it would be close to $200 because of the third floor, and it was exactly $200. They did a thorough and neat job.

I see them about twice a year. They do a good job. They always clean up their mess afterward. They have done minor repairs for me sometimes without asking, and they weren't going to charge me. They will do minor gutter repairs if you call them. They will say that they are on their way out and they will charge you half. They are very friendly guys. Tom Anderson is a very nice guy. If you have a problem after they do it, they will come back out and correct it.

They were very courteous and helpful. Their work was of good quality.

Although they said they would be out in a couple of days, after a week they didn't come, then it snowed. They called to tell me they would come after the snow melted, which they did (on a Saturday no less).

They came out today (Dec 27, 2008) on an awful day with a lot of rain and cleaned my gutters. It was a crew of 3-4 and they spent about an hour cleaning the gutters on my 2 story house. They took a 30 can of leaves with them. Well worth it since getting on my steep roof is a challenge.

They cleaned the gutters (within a week) and the process was completed quickly. They cleaned up after the work and the only way I knew it was completed was by the invoice in the mailbox. I did check and found the gutters on the garage and the front sun porch were free of leaves.

He missed the first appointment I had with him, but he called and rescheduled another appointment that he showed up to. His price was where I expected it, and he did a good job.

Completed quickly and when promised. Cleaned up and did not leave debris. I will use him again.

Exactly as expected, exactly as we wished.

They were great. The only problem I had was when they cleaned out the gutters, they left a muddy mess and wet leaves all over my front stoop and the railings on my ports. Other than that, they did a great job. The owner explained everything.

They were careful of the plants and things at the base of the house but the windows were not done very well. It was a two man crew and they were courteous and polite.

Arrived promptly; worked efficiently.

Service was on time, professional and within the estimated cost. Would certainly use them again.
