They were prompt. on time, and were here when they said they would be. When there were bad storms they let us know they would not be coming so that we could make another appointment. The price was right. We had recommendations from our neighbors and our church. The sales person was very nice but a tad pushy, not a bad pushy. We would recommend them.

The first time we called to get an estimate, they never got back to us. we called a second time and, because the house is in the suburbs, they went through their Rockford office. The guy went to the house to do the estimate, but each time he was going to get back to us, a relative had just died. We never heard from them. we were hoping to use them as they advertised a good deal for financing siding. we are still searching for a good, reliable contractor.

They set up a time with us for the consultation. They called 3 times in the week before to confirm that both my husband & I would be here. At the appointment time they never showed up & we didn't receive a call until the next day with no explanation, an apology & request to reschedule. We didnt

the consult was very good and informative. the measure guy came when expected. the team came and removed and replaced and cleaned up every window and door and got it all done in one day. Windows are great, no fogging or drafts. This winter our gas bill has been lower.

Feldco Windows, Siding & Doors had the windows here on the day they said they were going to have them here, they tore out the old windows, replaced the windows, the installation was perfect, they were everything they said they are in their commercials, and they removed all the debris. The top grade products and installation are all guaranteed. They will work with you budget wise, the finished work was beautiful, and the price is amazing.

I replaced a little over half my windows with Feldco in 2005 and the rest in 2011. While I did have some issues with windows cracking and seals breaking with the first set they were replaced at no cost as advertised and I chalked it up to bad luck. Now with the second set, I have had unusual cracking yet again and I am highly doubting the quality of the windows. When I called for the windows to be replaced, I was told there would be a trip charge. For my last replacement, it took four trips before they were finally able to replace the window. I was very unhappy about the time I had to spend on the service calls and did not feel it reasonable that I should be charged a trip fee when they advertised free replacement. My original windows were of average quality in my home (I am original owner) and they never had any issues. I am highly disappointed with Feldco quality and faliture to make good on their 'free' replacement guarantee - which, btw, is only good for 5 years and not lifetime (this is somewhere in the small print but not brought to your attention at the time you sign the contract). I have not had the service call yet to examine the window but I did let the manager know that since she told me she HAD to charge the trip fee then I would HAVE to file an Angie's List report.

It went great and all was scheduled and kept to scheduled appointments. The windows were custom ordered and came in fast!

Initially I was very impressed with Feldco. I was able to schedule an appointment with ease and the sales man was prompt. He was a bit chatty but that's ok with me. He took the measurements, talked about the company, and showed me samples of the product. I was pretty impressed, and honestly was highly considering going with this company based on a fair estimate. Then the sales tactics began. He began by offering a deal if I were to go with Feldco that night. I explained I was not willing to commit to a deal that night, especially since I had someone else coming out for another estimate that weekend. I like to explore my options. He continued to press, even lowering the price if I wanted to pay cash that night. At this point I began to get annoyed, and firmly said no I will not be signing a contact tonight. He then asked me if I was familiar with contract law (which I was), emphasizing I had 3 days to cancel even if I signed. At this point I emphasized I had said no. He badgered asking "What, am I not a good guy? Is Feldco not a good brand? Didn't your coworker tell you were the best?" Appalling. Then he told me that if I didn't sign in 2 days, their 20% promotion would end, and the price would go up. He said " Then there's nothing I can do about the price." After a few more minutes of badgering I finally got him to leave. I agreed to a follow phone call in a few days. However, I was so annoyed even days later, I didn't even want to bother with Feldco again. It was not worth being borderline harassed another time. Still he called multiple times again, sent an email, and a letter to my home, asking for my business. As someone with 7 years in sales management experience and a Bachelors degree in Marketing, I fully understand the sales tactic. But this was beyond rude, intrusive, and downright irritating. I would never recommend having Feldco come out for an estimate, in fear you might encounter a sales man like this.

They were very good. They did a very good job of not trying to get my house very dirty at all. They cleaned up after themselves. It didn't take them all day to do the windows; it took them a few hours. They did a really, really good job. They were on time. They did very well doing their job. I didn't have to clean up anything. They were the best and I would use them again. I would also recommend them. I felt that I paid for what I got. I felt good about the price. The man that came to the house wasn’t pushy and he let us make the decision ourselves.

We need several windows in our home replaced. So checked Angie's List saw a good rating. Should have read all the reviews! THE RUDEST people ever. When the found out it was impossible for both my husband and I to be home at the same time. They didn't take my suggestion to come at 5 am or midnight. Being that we work opposite shifts. I see all these notes on Angie's List from the Doug Cook saying exceptions can be made BULLCRUD! The original woman I spoke to said sorry can't do it. H Her Supervisor who I was transferred to and suddenly wasn't available, I left a detailed message explaining why it wasn't possible for us to both be home. She still hasn't called me back two days later. Doug don't post some lame response here say OH YOU WOULD have taken care of us as it won't do any good. I wouldn't use your company for any reason now. So If you want a quote from them. Just call and say you are single!

After meeting with the sales rep and receiving a quote, I decided to go with Feldco. They sent someone out to measure and once the doors were ready they had a two man team come out and install the doors. The install team was GREAT! They worked quickly and were very professional. My basement door is the only nice part of my basement currently. It looks out of place because it is so nice! If I could be guaranteed to always have the same install team out, I would definitely always use Feldco.

Amazing! I just purchased 3 new doors from Feldco and was delighted with the experience. The installer (Tela, I believe) was incredible. He and his associate worked for hours installing the doors and making sure everything was exactly plumb. He re-installed the capping, fixed the woodwork and just made the house look beautiful. The hardware and heft of the doors is impressive. These aren't your typical Home Depot POS, these are real doors that are solid! It was the best value on the market and the doors make me my home feel like a million bucks when I open them. It really changes the way I enter/leave the home. Fantastic Feldco! My wife called to have a salesman come over and give an estimate on replacing 12 windows in our home. The salesman was 30 minutes late. The product he showed us was of poor quality. Then he tried the hard sell. The salesman tried to get us to commit on the spot to a 7,000 job. He wouldn't take no for an answer, he was rude to both my wife and child, he insulted us in saying we couldn't find a deal anywhere else, that all other products were inferior to his, and essentially called us fools. We were very close to demanding he leave our premisses on the spot but held our tempers. Then, we get a call from his cousin a few days later, so he started using us as a lead to still try to get our business. I would recommend using another company all together to anyone interested in such an important home improvement decision.
