Overall satisfied. He'd ask "do you like this or do you like that?" and I never asked how much "this" and "that" cost. It took a long time to decide on colors and my salesman came up with the color that I like which was a wood grain effect. I was very satisfied with the salesman it was just a little more expensive than I wanted. It is helping keep the heat bill down because there's no draft. We filled it ourselves and did a great job.

All went well. Count on loosing about 3-4 inches all around.

First and foremost, I just checked the Better Business Bureau ratings and learned that Feldco has an "F" rating from the BBB. This is both for dozens of unresolved service issues and deceptive advertising practices. Stay away from this one folks.... We purchased an exterior door with a high-end lock set from Feldco. The lock failed while covered under warranty. Lock is for the main front door to our home so its failure creates a security issue for us. Contacted Feldco, explained the issue in detail and was told it would take 3 days to get a tech there to repair the issue. Not ideal due to the security issue, but we agreed. Technician came 3 days later and was at our home for literally one minute. Looked at the issue and said 'yep, that is broken, we need to order parts. They may be in stock within 2 weeks and we'll call then to set an appointment to install'. Then he left. Called a manger to complain and they said nothing could be done because Feldco stocks no parts on their products in anticipation of warranty repairs. Everything has to come on special order from an outside manufacturer. To be clear - NO parts stocked... not on even the most common of the products they sell and not even on exterior door locks where it is reasonable to believe a security issue would exist for a client when a lock fails. This is the explanation received from a manager of one of the largest sellers in the Chicago area. So in reality, Feldco has no actual warranty for any item they sell when a time sensitive repair is needed - this is so because if your item fails, you will be forced to call another business to get the item repaired quickly (ex: a locksmith - a business who DOES understand client needs and therefore keeps parts in stock).

Both providers (Andersen and Feldco) spent nearly 20 minutes of the 90 minutes they were in our home making an argument why they were better than the other. The Feldco salesman smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and took far too long when we made it very clear all we wanted was a measurement and a quote for the window and installation. While I know this how this business works, it was a huge waste of our time. After calling them the next day to say we would not be purchasing from Feldco, they have repeatedly called to make phone pitches to us for new windows. I've asked for my name to be removed, and will follow up appropriately if our request continues to be disregarded.

We went to a meeting in our complex and met with a representative from Feldco who explained the type of windows we would be getting, how long it would take for installation, and the cost. We had been having problems during the winter with cold coming through the windows and the wood rotting on the kitchen windows. We decided to go with Feldco. A representative and one of his workers (who would be doing the job) came to the apartment to inspect the windows and told us that we would have arrange a full day for installation. Due to Feldco replacing so many windows in the complex we waited a couple of months for our installation. On the date of the installation, two workers arrived on time and immediately got to work. Everything was completed in one day. They worked all day to complete the job, did not damage any of the woodwork by the windows, and cleaned up the debris after they completed the job. We were very happy with the job. Even though it still gets cold in our kitchen, we do not hear the wind blowing through the windows. The rest of the apartment is definitely warmer in the winter. The only comment I have is that sometimes when you open and close the window, the top of the window will separate a little from the base. If you want to lock the window you have to make sure the top part of the window is solidly in place, otherwise, you can not lock it. This is no big deal. We are very happy with our new windows. Even though it can be costly to replace all the windows, we would gladly do it again with Feldco. The windows look much better than our old ones and it is definitely warmer in our apartment during the winter. We would gladly recommend Feldco to anyone needing new windows.

They were professional, quick and gave me a good deal. It worked out. They were nice. The windows were great. They actually helped us sell out home so it worked out great.

OCTOBER 6,TECHNICIAN COME TO MY HOUSE AND JUST PUT A COUPLE DROPS OF SILICONE BETWEEN GLASS AND FRAME.AND TOLD ME DON'T OPEN THE WINDOW FOR 24 HOURS.AFTER THIS PERIOD I CHECK WINDOW AND I SAW THE SAME PROBLEM. IMMEDIATELY I START CALLING TO REPAIR DEPARTMENT AND LEFT MASSAGE.I LEFT MESSAGE EVERY DAY FOR 5 DAYS AND NO ONE CALLED BACK.I DECIDED NOT TO CALL A REPAIR CENTER AND DIAL DIRECT 866-4FELDCO.THE NEXT DAY THE MANAGER CALLED ME BACK AND SET UP APPOINTMENT ON OCTOBER 13.WHEN TECHNICIAN WAS IN MY HOUSE I ASKED HIM MEASURE WINDOW FOR BUY NEW SCREEN WINDOW.HE EXPLAINED THAT IT WOULD TAKE SEVEROL DAYS AND "FELDCO'' WILL CALL AND TELL ME THE PRICE.I WAITED UNTIL OCTOBER 18, AND SO NO ONE HAS CALLED BACK.ON THE SAME DAY , I CALLED FELDCO AGAIN AND I PROMISED THAT THE MANAGER WOULD CALL ON MONDAY OCTOBER 20,2014.GUESS WHAT,TODAY OCTOBER 20TH , 9 P.M. AND NOBODY CALL ME BACK. MAKE YOUR DECISION BEFORE YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

The installation was very rushed. Two people took out eleven kitchen and bedroom windows and replaced them with FELDCO Windows . They were in their truck leaving on less than five hours. I called in the fall to say one window will not lock in a second floor bedroom. They came out and said the window is defective. They replaced that window. I hope these windows last.

The workers were clean, efficient and knowledgable. They had an inside worker and an outside worker. The inside worker set up a floor to ceiling see-through "tent" around him so NO mess spread around the room! They send out an expert measurer and make the new windows to exactly fit in the old opening--which means we did not even have to remove the blinds or the hardware from the frames! All that we had to paint were small quarter rounds. The whole "ordeal" was painless! I would definitely use them again

They sent out a four man crew and replaced everything in one day (~11 hours worth of work). They cleaned everything up better than I expected and the difference from the original builder special windows was immediately noticeable. The crew was courteous and efficient. We had another company quote this job at over twice the cost of Feldco. I would use them again.

They’re very good. I like them. They were very reasonable and very nice to deal with. They did good work. My son said the windows were put in, they were very nice and they cleaned up. They also put in a 12 foot patio door which was massive. They were very polite and they did a nice job. My son said they were very good. The man who came to explain to me the price and all was extremely nice. I could not ask for anybody nicer.

After purchasing this house we knew we had a few upgrades to make. Being so cold up here the leaky windows were a definete. We called a couple contractors and decided to go with a company that specializes in windows and doors. They also had a early spring deal i saw advertised. After agreeing to their contract we were eager to get our old leaky windows replaced. It didnt take as long as expected, they were special order which i guess most windows are. After they completed our installation we could notice the difference the same night. We could feel the argon gas really insulate us from the elements. Thanks Feldco.

This was our second purchase with Feldco, as we had purchased a new back door from them last fall. Our salesman, Peter Pontarelli, was excellent, taking the time to walk us through the process and show us how their products differ from the big box retailers where we had been planning to purchase the windows from. Peter showed all the elements of the windows and brought a sample window for us to test out. Walked us through the various styles and colors of both the front door and the windows. We ended up purchasing 15 windows and a new front door, to replace the aging door that leaked a ton of cold air and was missing the mail slot! Needless to say, our house is much warmer and we have turned down the thermostat an average of 3 degrees, so hoping that will be reflected in the energy bill savings. We are also anxiously awaiting spring so we can open the windows, with new screens and safety latch, and let all the fresh air in, while keeping our pets happy while they stare out the windows all afternoon. We thought the price was fair, they have financing, and we purchased the windows when their sale started, so we are very happy with our purchase.

One of the workers thank us for moving everything around the windows, which was in the instructions the salesman had left. When they were finished they cleaned up and put everything back. Our windows and doors are beautiful and we have received many complements. We have not had any issues as of today. We will keep you updated.

The salesman who came to the house brought a sample of the window w/insulation, etc. which was why we chose them over the competitors. You could see the window and its insulation was superior. The price was competitive, and everyone involved in the process was professional, clean and punctual. The only complaint I have was the salesman did not know exactly how much window we would lose with the extra framing. It turned out to be more than we thought, but we still get a lot of light, and a lot more energy efficiency!

It went very well. The windows looked great. They work. It was all very professionally done. The price was reasonable.

the salesman provided what we felt was a fair price. When we had to make a change, the salesman (Peter) came out on short notice to keep us on track with our order. The installers were neat and did a very nice job on a the installation. They addressed all of our questions.

The sales representative, Pete, did an excellent job telling us about all of the benefits and features of the windows. The price was very competitive, and we were sold on the quality. The installers arrived on time and worked in extremely cold weather! They ran into a couple of issues, but they took as much time as was necessary to resolve any issues and properly install the windows. They were very neat with their work and they were also very polite. I will definitely use Feldco for the remaining windows in my home in the very near future.

Had the first group of windows installed in April, the installers, Chad and Shane were so good, I requested them to come back and install when I purchased the remaining windows. I have a half circle window that was difficult to install and trim, but it looks fabulous. Although the cost was higher than other estimates I received, the quality of the windows are superior and worth the extra money. Over the summer, I saved a significant amount of money on my electric bill, and I look forward to a warmer home this winter.

Stopped in on Saturday to see a high-end Provia storm door. There was only ONE sales person there & he was with another customer who was completely clueless about what she wanted. All he said to me was hello & never even attempted to help me - even though I was there for a freaking half hour. No brochure to keep me busy . No I'll be with you in a few moments. Not even an inquiry about what I came to see. I work retail & juggle multiple customers everyday. It's not difficult. I just walked out & he actually seemed surprised that I was leaving after being ignored for so long. I didn't have all day to waste waiting to see if I would ever be helped so I called later. When I called I spoke with the most clueless salesman on the planet. I told him I was interested in the * fullview * storm door , told him it was green & had to tell him where on the sales floor it was located - several times. AND HE STILL COULDN"T FIGURE IT OUT ! His response was , oh yeah you're talking about the one with the bar across the middle where the screen drops down. Ok, anyone who knows what a fullview door is , knows that it is one BIG piece of glass that is framed in metal - no bars. I repeated my description a few more times & then just hung up on him because he obviously has no idea what he is doing. I bought two of those very nice storm doors somewhere else.

The sales rep was nice but I think he was taken aback when I told him I did not want to hear about the company and its history. He explained their system, measured the windows, and gave me a quote. Unfortunately, his quote was several thousand dollars above another quote I had received. The sales rep was great but price does count.

From the moment I walked in the door, there was a first initial great presentation. From there, they sat down and listened to me and then built something to my need versus trying to sell me something that they just had. They came out and actually asked how big my dog was and the breed, so they can actually make sure getting us the right sized door and everything else. I got a discount for walking into the showroom versus having them come out. I also received additional discount because there was a sale going on. They waived couple of other fees as well. I had to made a change to the door and they were very accommodating.

I think it is a national company and they did a nice job of taking out the windows. They knew what they were doing and did a nice, neat job. The people were knowledgeable. There was no significant difference in the prices that I received.

The salesmen was very helpful and gave us the idea to convert 3 separate windows into a picture window to reduce cost and it really enhanced our great room. All service technicians and installers were very prompt and professional. The left the job site very clean. Financing was available which made this job possible. The company contacted us to made sure we were satisfied.

They were polite and professional. They did a pretty good job. I like they way everything turned out.
