Description of Work: Our house is 30 yrs old and we have lived in it for 20 yrs and we have never had a thorough air duct cleaning. I don't think the previous owners ever had the air ducts cleaned since “Air Ducts Done Right” found little kids' toys, doll clothes and signs that a cat had lived here. Since we have no children and no cats, I believe all this had accumulated in our air ducts over the years. I researched many companies and asked around and recommended as the best of the best, by far was “Air Ducts Done Right”. I called and spoke with the owner, Vito to discuss the service and was given all the information and quoted a price. He answered any questions and very nice in all manners. I called on Wednesday and he scheduled appointment for Friday. Crew of 3 (Brian, Chris and another Brian) arrived at 1:30 pm and worked till 5:00 pm. I had been given a window of time they would show up sometime between 12 noon -2 pm and the job would last 3-5 hours. I have 2 large dogs that were welcomed by the guys and although curious, dogs stayed out of their way. I offered to put them in cage but was told, not necessary. My only concern was that they would leave one of the doors open so dog could escape and told the guys, who were definitely dog lovers. The guys were careful and always aware, keeping doors and gates closed and there were no problems. Brian, Brian and Chris were all extremely personable, polite, professional, hard working and thorough. They explained the process and took pictures for me of before and after plus showed me (at my request) all the dirt they collected. They left my house spotless. And when my husband came home he could noticeably tell the air was cleaner and smelled fresh and not the way it was (musty, doggie, stale) !! Since we suffer from allergies I know this will definitely help our health.

+ -1 moreScott and Brian were the two young men who came out. I had given them my garage code as they started very early and I have not moved in yet. A couple of hours into the job, Scott called and left a message that things were going well and to call with any questions. I went to the house and both Scott and Brian greeted me by name after introducing themselves. They left the house as they found it and answered all of my questions. I have used Air Ducts Done Right in the past and will continue to use them in the future. Their prices might be a LITTLE bit high, but as far as I am concerned the professionalism, courtesy and quality are worth it. My house is new construction and I finished the basement and there was A LOT of dust. By not cleaning the ducts, I knew it would just continue to blow throughout the house. You could hear all the stuff in the vents being sucked out and they also eye the vents afterward to double check.
Description of Work: I called last week and spoke to them and received a quote and service date over the phone for a duct cleaning.

+ 0 moreVito, the owner, and an assdistant , i beleive his name was Scott, came to my home on time @ 7AM. They were there for a long time a good five hours as i recall. Possibly even longer. I knew Air Ducts Done Right was the place to go with because of how well Vito, the owner answered my questions. Being involved in commercial property managment i have had thye opportunity to use this type of service for some office building I manage. At the time i did not knopw of this cvompany and the company i used did a good job. What I noticerd with Air Ducts Done Right was the thoroughness of not only the cleaning but the thoroughness of the explanations which l,ed me to believe that Vito, not only kinows what he is doing with airt duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning but even more important was the absolute evidence of the passdion involved form his work. This, in my expereince has been why I havew chosen certain contrators over others and certainly is true with Air Ducts Done Right. there were reasons why I chose them and they were absolutely validated during the actual cleaning process. Without ANY hesitation I would say this is the company to go with for this type of service

+ 0 moreA thorough job and well-worth the gulper $700 price, which is considerably more costly than the competition -- because of a more thorough technology, according to an environmental engineer who previously had scoped our townhome for mold. The price was precisely as stated in advance. One-man crew (usually it's two, but one had called in ill). Six hours in an out. Visa accepted. Compared to the two-hour duct cleaning done here four or five years ago, this was vastly more thorough. A goliath gas-powered vacuum outdoors impressively sucked up debris as the worker used a whippet-like device to snake the ducts and dislodge dust and, I suppose, spiders and other creatures of the duct. Dustballs have been nonexistent since his visit, which was not the case with the previous company. Moreover, because of the air suction, there was no dust residue in the house from cleaning. Afterward, when I inquired about other services from Air Ducts Done Right, he mentioned dryer vents and I immediately contracted for that service. This cost $55; the $90 'visit' fee was waived because he already was on the scene for the air-duct cleaning. I had been meaning to scour the dryer vent hose for months (to reduce risk of fires) but never got around to it. Bottom line: Expensive but thorough, accomplished professionally. I'll book this company again in four or five years.

+ 0 moreThey came on time and were professional. Thye explained what they were doing and where they would do in order. They were very neat and nice. They estimated 4-5 hours and they were right on time from start to finish. If I had questions during the clean they would stop and explain.
Description of Work: Air Ducts Done Right gave me an estimate and explained what thye would be doing in advance. It was explaned that most companies actually don't clean the vents properly. I was very skeptical of $99 deals that clean the whole house. A few years ago we installed drywall which is very dusty. So I wanted all vents cleaned. Cleaned all vents throughout the house and dryer vent. Was here for over 4-5 hours.

They answered our questions even before we told them that we would be working with them. They were very helpful in explaining about the different services and the charges. They are a little more expensive than the other people, but they have a different technology which we thought was worth it. They were very clean. We would use them again in the future.

+ -1 moreThe tech arrived when expected, covered all the vents and returns, connected the large vacuum hose to the vacuum and collection tank outside and proceeded to clean each vent with a very high powered multi-pronged air blower. The work was done very methodically and we are very satisfied with the results. We would definitely use their services again.
Description of Work: Our single furnace, single story ranch home's ducts were cleaned, possibly for the very first time since it was built in 1952. The technician was very thorough and made sure that no cold air was entering the house at the point where a large vacuum hose was connected to the ducts via the furnace. The process took about 4 and half hours and removed about 10 pounds worth of debris! The technician also repaired some ductwork that created a gap in the system at no charge. The air quality improved dramatically with stale smell completely eliminated.

+ -1 moreI've had mold issues in my home and an industrial hygienist had a swab culture performed in my air ducts showed high levels of mold. This was only two months after I had my air ducts cleaned by another air duct cleaning company. The trunk lines had all sorts of debris in them after the previous company had blown the cold air return lines while the vacuum was on the supply trunk line. The industrial hygienist said the ducts were still very dirty and recommended having 'Air Ducts Done Right' clean the vents. Brian and his colleague spent 6 hours cleaning the vents, trunk lines and also sanitizing. They opened up the trunk lines in many locations to get their cleaning equipment in and also to visually see if the trunks were clean. I'm confidant that 'Air Ducts Done Right' properly cleaned ALL of my ductwork.

+ -1 moreI AM ALREADY A REPEAT CUSTOMER FROM MY MOM'S PLACE. THE CREW (BRYON/DAVE) CALLED TWICE WITH UPDATED TIMES BECAUSE THEY WERE BEHIND SCHEDULE, WHICH HELPED ME ARRANGE MY DAY AND ACTUALLY WORKED OUT FOR THE BETTER. THEY MINIMIZED THE COLD AIR THROUGH THE WINDOW WHERE THE MAIN VACUUM LINE FED, AND WERE VERY NEAT ABOUT MOVING FURNITURE AND OTHER ITEMS. THE FURNACE BLOWER STOPPED WORKING DURING THE CLEANING, SO THEY REFERRED AN HVAC SERVICE AFTER TRYING TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM ONSITE. MY OWN SERVICEMAN RESPONDED FIRST THE NEXT DAY AND DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AS A WIRE ACCIDENTALLY KNOCKED LOOSE DURING CLEANING AND RECONNECTED IN THE WRONG SPOT. VITO IMMEDIATELY TOOK FULL RESPONSIBILITY AND REIMBURSED ME BY MAILING A CHECK WITHIN ONE DAY AFTER I CONTACTED HIM. I GLADLY RECOMMEND AIR DUCTS DONE RIGHT.
