They did the work I wanted buy they charged more than you said it would cost.

He also discovered a minor gas leak and corrected the problem. A job well done.

Called once and never showed up or called again.

It took a while for Dave to schedule an appointment with me. Once it was on the calendar he canceled twice and I had made plans to stay home to meet him. When I spoke with him today he agreed that I should seek a refund.

They were able to repair the broken valve. They left no mess.

When Dave arrived and looked at the faucet and where it was located - he told me that it would be an additional $50 to cut a hole in the drywall which I said ok. Then he went down to the basement to look for the water connection and he noticed that I had an old disconnected water softener. He mentioned to me to me that I should have this water softener removed because it should be because it potentially could cause an explosion. Then he replaced the faucet and I asked him to give me an estimate on a 50gal new hot water heater and he did, gave me a written estimate and said that they would replace all the connections and hookups and I thought the estimate was totally fare. Then as he was leaving, he said that he was not going to charge me for the cut into the drywall, and I was most appreciative. He did a great job and I will definitely have him come back again.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out fine. They came out on the day I requested. I had an additional $64 in extra charges for parts. The plumber who came out worked real well with my husband. My husband had questions so he answered them very well.

It worked out fine. They did everything they said they’d do. They did a good job. He allowed me to buy the garbage disposal and he put it in. He is very good. I couldn’t complain anything about him. They did exactly what they said they’d do. There were no problems scheduling. He came out and did it and it was done.

The plumber did an excellent job and I appreciated his input and suggestions for other projects I am interested in. I am sensitive to cigarette smoke and there was a strong odor on David that was difficult for me. Please know that he did a great job and I cannot complain about his professionalism, courtesy or abilities. This is simply a personal preference that didn't sit well with me. I appreciate the solid job that he did.

I can't say enough good things about this company. I paid Angles list for the great deal of $99 for two hours of plumbing labor. When I called Catenzaro to set up the appointment, I spoke to Tom and when I gave him my address he paused and said there was a mistake on the deal as it didn't cover in the city of Chicago. But he then imeadeatly said he would honor the deal. So we set up a time. The day before, Dave, one of their plumbers called to talk through what we needed so he could bring the right parts. He said he would be at our place at 9:30 and that is when he arrived. He took a look and gave me all the details and that it might take a little longer than the 2 hours and gave me what the extra hour would cost. He didn't need to do that as he finished in the two hours. He did a fantastic job and was a very nice guy who had a very professional appearance. The cost of the parts was not included in the $99 fee and their price on the parts was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Catenzaro plumbing for your plumbing needs.

Provider contacted me in a timely manner, and was able to schedule service at a date and time that was acceptable to me. Unfortunately, their truck broke down the day before my appointment. They called and told me what was happening, to let me know the truck might not be repaired in time for them to keep my appointment. The next morning, the day of my appointment, they called again to let me know the truck wasn't fixed yet and that they would need to reschedule. I needed plumbing work done before a weekend party but they didn't have any openings available before then. After my phone conversation with them I left the house, and later called another plumber and scheduled the work I needed to have done. After I was gone Catenzaro & Sons called back again and left a message saying they would take another truck so they could keep my appointment, but I didn't receive that message until later in the day, after the scheduled time for my appointment. They did everything right given the situation, and I would not hesitate to contact them in the future for plumbing services.

Wonderful! The toilet has never been this easy to flush. You used to have to hold down the handle for 10to15seconds to flush. That drove me crazy. We should have done this repair years ago. We also got estimates for additional plumbing work we need done. Estimates seem competive.

This is by far the best experience I've ever had with a plumbing firm and I'd HIGHLY recommend this company! I called late Friday afternoon. The person I spoke with said they'd get back to me after checking to make sure they had someone available Saturday. I got a timely call back and the appointment was set for 1:30 Saturday. Tom arrived on time and got right to work. He suggested attempting to repair the faucet could save time and money (I had previously replaced the faucet cartridge myself and that didn't help, so I assumed I'd have to get the faucet replaced). Tom disassembled the faucet, went to the store to obtain parts, came back, reassembled and tested the faucet (which now works just fine), all within an hour. I was very impressed, and also felt his bill was very reasonable. I couldn't be happier.

Service was provided on Memorial Day. Appreciated the flexibility to provide service on a holiday as it was not an emergency but David was willing to work around my work schedule.

If you have any plumbing problems, this is THE plumber to call! I had been trying to change my shower faucet, and well, it broke! I had to shut off all the water to the house, so we could not use the toilets, wash dishes, you get the picture! I had called 3 plumbers on the list, all stated that they could not help for a week or so, I was devistated! Catenzaro was the third plumber on the list, I called and Mr. Catenzaro answered, I explained my problem, he said he could not make as there were many emergencies that he was handling at the moment, but he would call Dave, who was in the area, and have him call me. Dave called right away, said he could be there later that evening. He came in and took a look, he was very polite, he told me that I didn't do anything wrong, that whoever would have tried to remove the valve, it would have broken. It was late, so Dave fixed what he could at that moment, not having all the equipment he would need, we set up a time for him to come on Monday. He arrived on time, and did not mind that I watched to learn what he was doing to fix the problem. He explained everything in words I could understand. Dave had to cut open the wall, and when he was done, he closed up the wall so that I could use the shower until I had time to replace the drywall. When he was done, everything was clean and where it should be. Dave called two days later to ask how things were going, if all the leaking had stopped and if there was anything else I needed. This is a great company, and I have thier number on my fridge! I personally will not call anyone else for any of my plumbing needs! I am telling you, THIS is your plumber!

Initially, I had called another plumber to unclog a kitchen sink (my questions are posted in the plumbing section). This first plumber routed out the sink, but that caused more backup down the line which he then referred me to a specialist that could pressure wash the entire line ($600.00). This may sound like a normal thing to do, however the line is only 15 feet long and is assessable from under the cottage (something my first plumber did not investigate). Cartenzo plumbing came out and replaced the poorly designed system with new pipe along with putting a bathroom sink back together and unclogging a toilet in another unit. We have many small rentals, and a tradesman that is willing to work quickly and efficiently on many small headaches is valuable to us.

It went perfectly. I've spoken to the owner, and he sent out his employee Dave who did a tremendous job. They both went out of their way to accommodate me, to make the job work, and be cost effective. He was professional, thorough, neat, and prompt. They provided excellent advice regarding to repair or replace items.

It went very well. He was efficient, professional, and very nice. He asked me if I wanted him to check the other toilets. I did so he he made an adjustment to one other one and the third toilet was just fine.

Existing dishwasher shutoff valve was old and corroded and valve wouldn't turn, and also had a larger output thread size compared to what was needed for connection to a new dishwasher. Wanted someone local who could come late in the day when someone would be home. Made an appointment for 3 days from date of call. Got a quote up front with an apology that they would have to charge a full hour's labor ($100) even though he thought it would only take 10-15mins or so, but did offer to do other plumbing jobs needed while there to fill the entire hour, which I thought was nice even though we didn't have anything else to do. Arrived on time, charges were per the quote, job looks nice. Will definitely use again.

Tom fit us into his busy schedule, arrived when he said he would, fixed our clogged tub and sink, and explained how we could fix tub clogs by ourselves in the future. He was friendly, polite, helpful, competent and affordable. I was quite pleased.

Do call this company! Tom quoted me a price that was all inclusive which is easier for me. He arrived on time. Had my old tub out and new tub in by 3:30 p.m. I was able to take a bath that evening. The next day the drywall was installed and finished taping the next few days. I received quotes from others but Tom explained all of what he would do. I researched that different materials and methods all of the companies I received quotes from. He did not take shortcuts and was very thorough.

I called a few plumbers and Tom's quote was the most realistic. He arrived on time and put those shoe coverings on to protect my floors . Tom was efficient, professional and a pleasure to deal with. In addition to fixing the two toilets, he checked the third toilet to make sure it wouldn't require a service call in the near future. I will call Tom for any future plumbing needs and highly recommend Catenzaro & Sons' Plumbing.
