4 Seasons Arbor Service, Inc 4 Seasons Arbor Service, Ed Ritzema, runs the place he is a tremendous man, knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable. Everything went just fine and I have hired him again for this year.

Did not use them but their price was very competitive and would call them again to bid on jobs. They were very prompt in coming out and left a written quote.

The estimate was free. Ed showed up on time. He emailed the quote. I agreed to have the work done. He emailed me again to let me know when they would be able to trim. It was scheduled for early spring before the tree leafed out. The tree was over the roof line and hitting the roof on windy days. It had a lot of dead branches. It also hung down close to my and my neighbors' garages as well as electrical wiring going to my neighbors house from the alley. They trimmed back all the branches that were near any structures and wires, and got rid of almost all the dead branches. There was no damage to anything and they cleaned up afterwards. They notified me via email prior to scheduling the insecticide application in the spring. It was to help kill the insects that were causing the leaves and branches to fall. But that was very expensive ($300) and, although it helped, I did not do it again in 2011 due to the cost.

The price was reasonable. He performed when he said he would. He came out when he said he would. We had some questions on the trees in the back yard and he took the time to talk to us about them and tell us the type of trees we have. We were worried that some of them were turning yellow prematurely and he told us that that is just the nature of that tree. Out front, he told us about some hedges and told us what the trees were out front and how to care for them. That was at no additional charge. We were impressed with him.

Ken arrived on time, and removed the limb without further damage to the tree. The crew cleaned up the area and the cost was very fair. I would highly recommend Arbor Care Tree service and will use them again.

Arbor Care contacted JULIE several days before beginning the work to check the location of a gas line that runs through the front yard. Sure enough, the line ran right along one side of the tree. On the day of the removal, the crew and trucks were here precisely on time. Ken, the owner who also did the estimate, was also in charge of the crew. They went to work very efficiently and finished the job in approximately two hours. The only heavy equipment used next to the tree was the grinder, and there was absolutely no damage to the lawn. The stump grinding was very thorough despite the presence of the gas line and the cleanup was thorough also. I'm very satisfied with the qualify of the work, especially since this company had the lowest estimate of three that provided estimates. The only problem I noticed was a slow response to phone messages that I left. However, I can understand a slower response when the owner is involved in several parts of the business.

The removal went very smoothly. The crew was very quick and efficient. They used a rope to lower the large branches to the ground rather than dropping them. Our lawn was undamaged. The clean-up was very thorough.
