Homer Tree's rep, Heather, came to the house and gave me the cost of service after walking around the property and seeing what I wanted done. She was very professional and said they would call within 2 weeks to get the job done. Their timing was very good. Three workers came, trimmed all the trees, hauled the limbs and branches out to their wood chipper and disposed of them. Made sure there was no debris left in the grass, etc. I will definitely hire them again.

What a joy to deal with this company. Request for quote was promptly responded to, very fair pricing, punctual scheduling of service, prompt arrival, and clean up. This company did it all well, with superb equipment and crew. Had two large oaks removed and hauled away. Chose to not do stump removal since the location on the lot did not demand. Big thumbs up.

I called for estimate on 8\27 at 7:30 P.M. Met with Kurt and had estimate in my hand by 9:30 A.M. the next morning. The original quote was lower than I expected so I was able to get more work done than planned. They were ready to do the work the same day. I was blown away. I had to wait a week to have the work done due to my schedule.. Set up job for next Tues. they showed up got the job done removed everything even a pile of brush I had cut over the weekend and not yet put out front for garbage pick up. Except for some minor damage to my grass from the grinder( To make an omelet you have to break some eggs) they did a fantastic job. In fact I told Kurt that I almost wished I had more dead trees to be removed. To bad they only remove trees if they planted them I would have them do that too. I would hire them again without a second thought. Fast service,great price and quality work. What more can you ask for ? That's it I have go dig some hole to plant some new trees!

I was very pleased. They gave me a quote which I thought was reasonable for the amount of work so I told them to go ahead and do it and didn't get any other quotes. They said they would be out in the afternoon the next day and they came early in the morning. They said they were going to get the small job knocked out of the way. They had all the equipment they needed and they had a big crew of 4 or 5 guys. I had thought about cutting the tree down myself but it was between a couple of electrical wires and they said that it was a good thing that I didn't do it myself. They did a very good job. They cut it down in long poles and ground it up. They were here about 30-45 minutes and it would have taken me a lot longer to do it myself. I was extremely satisfied with them and would recommend them. I would definitely use them again.

I was looking for a tree service that was expert, bonded, and insured because I had several very large trees close to my house. I called for a quote after a major storm because I had a split tree on the ground but did not receive a call back. I called again because I understood how busy they were after such a big storm and the owner called me back and came out to my house for a quote on that day. I like this guy. I was here during the tree removal and observed the whole process. He did exactly what he quoted, was on time, and was on site to supervise his crew. I would highly recommend Reasonable Tree Experts and would use them again.

A large, mature oak tree fell and rested on top of our roof after a small tornado in Downers Grove. Reasonable Tree Service advertises that they specialize in LARGE and dangerous jobs and that description fit our needs. A dozen other tree services were too busy to even return our calls. The owner saw our predicament and offered his services just at the same time I was about to place a call to his business! (we felt like it was a sign from above!) He brought a team of 4-5 helpers and a fleet of equipment...I felt that the "cavalry" had finally come to our rescue. Not only do they have a sizable, attractive crane, but they also have a large chipper and an impressive stump grinder. As they worked their way over the roof, lowering limbs, they ground them up immediately! No need to try and decide what to do with this tremendous amount of wood at a time when the entire neighborhood had more firewood than could be used in the foreseeable future. They were skilled as they walked along the roof and had the proper safety lines, which reassured me. The owner, Kurt, worked on this project himself. He has 35 years of experience and is an arborist. More than that, he is an Artist with the crane, chain saw, pulley and ropes. We were fascinated to watch his skilled removal of the tree. It took his large team four solid hours to remove the tree and clean up. In addition to removing the large tree, he trimmed some of a neighboring tree which was damaged with the fall and also a large tree trunk on the other side of the yard. His team was polite and we never heard any off-color language. In fact, they were so industrious, we never noticed them even taking a break and they had had other jobs in the hot sun prior to stopping for us. All in all, we felt that we got more than our money's worth, despite the higher price of other quotes. The other outfits who were stopping to help were clueless as to the caliber of the project. It was clear that the amount of skilled effort of Kurt and his team and the exceptional equipment far surpassed any of the other lower offers that were made. We are convinced that the other contractors who stopped could not have safely done this large job. Our house, thankfully, is intact and there is only minor roof damage from the tree. Based on my personal experience, I recommend Reasonable Tree Experts 100%.

They came out right away to give me an estimate. They showed up when they said they would, did the job well, and cleaned up afterwards. I couldn't have asked for better service. I will definitely call them again.

They arrived the day after I asked for a quote. They did a good job of cleanup afterwards, without the tree being gone I wouldn't have known they were there!
