Was looking for a handyman to do several tasks that I just didn't have the time for prior to moving in to a new house. He was very up front about everything and his quote was fair. I'm very happy with the quality of the work he performed.

Sam is personable and great to work with. I would definitely ask him to do work for me again.

Sam's commitment to detail is rare, And his estimate really quite fair. He made me laugh every day, With his strange funny way, Now my bathroom is Plumb, Level, Square. Sam and Bob showed up every day on time, worked all day, and cleaned up before they left. This job was a challenge. I needed my one and only bathroom remodeled. I had a very specific tile arrangement in mind for the shower, and Sam worked tirelessly with me to make sure he understood my design plan. Its' perfect. It's beautiful. They were sensitive to my need to have the toilet replaced each and every night. No problem. Sam found extra shelving while rummaging for something in my garage. He cleaned it up, painted it, cut it to size and managed to magically double the shelf space in the linen closet. Here's the best part: Sam is funny. He is enthusiastic about new ideas and is never deterred by extra work if it means the job will be done right. I intend to recommend this company to anyone who will listen.

We purchased a Big Deal for drywall repair in December and didn't have time to use it. When I finally called in March we were able to schedule a time at my convenience. Sam was very personable and communicative. He explained what the problem was and how he was going to fix it and proceeded to do so. When we realized that the drywall repair wouldn't take up all the time from the coupon, we suggested other jobs around the house that we hadn't had time for--and as it turned out, didn't have the tools for either, including repairing the handle on our fridge and replacing a number of 50+ year old doorknobs and deadbolts, which required drilling larger openings on all our doors. It was unexpected, but Sam took it in stride and was flexible with his time. We also were able to pick his brain about other things that had been bothering us in the house, with the knowledge that he specializes in kitchen and bath remodeling. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with, and we would definitely work with him again--it's just a question of what to tackle first!

Sam and Bob did a nice job on our various projects and they were pretty easy to work with. Unlike some other contractors I've dealt with in the past, Sam was very responsive to emails. I'd think of some question at 9pm and shoot him and email and I'd always hear back from him soon. As we got going on the project we kept thinking of little things here and there that we ended up wanting to have done, and Sam was accommodating to our scope creep. I think they did a good job with cleaning up, and took efforts to avoid disrupting or intruding on us as much as possible.

We are very pleased with our experience. Sam came out on two different days. The first day he came out to do three hours worth of work using an Angie's List Big Deal coupon. Because of his professionalism, we had him come back a second day to do some additional work. Responsive, punctual, friendly, and professional service. No complaints. Next time we have a job we a general repair job we don't feel comfortable handling ourselves, we will be giving him a call.

Sam is a very dedicated worker. He was determined to solve the repair problems. At times, he could have been a little cleaner but it did involve drywall work. My wife and baby were home during the work so that is only why I say it could have been cleaner. But, I was very pleased with his work and would hire him again.

He was punctual and professional. I decided to hire a company who offered a lower price, but I do think PLS Remodeling could be a good option for others.

Sam is a great guy! Just meeting him for the estimate gave me a great first impression. I gave him a key to the house and he worked all day while I was at work. He gave me updates everyday just after he finished cleaning up after himself. I even picked his brain and kept asking him for advice about plumbing and general construction, which he seemed so cool about answering. Actually, he fixed a minor leak I was having in the other bathroom just before I left to work and gave me some great plumbing tips. It's great to be able and trust someone so easily...I wish he was a mechanic. The work is amazing and my wife and I could not be happier with our bathroom. Thanks Sam!

I highly recommend Sam O'Neill from PLS Remodeling. I was able to quickly schedule an appointment with him; he was prompt, efficient, very capable and clean & tidy. We had several holes in the ceiling and walls that needed fixing and repainting. All were done seamlessly and to a very high standard. I would definitely hire Sam again for any handyman or remodeling work.

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE CANCER!!! A WASTE OF TIME & MONEY!! I had a fence that needed repair. Some posts were dilapidated and needed replacement. I already had some new posts to be installed and possibly needed more. But any and all posts had to be dug out and new concrete poured. On November 30,2011 I applied for the services for this company on Angies list - "The Big Deal". After getting a coupon code, I contacted the company on Wednesday, November 30th. At that time I spoke to company owner Sam O'Neil. He said that he was on a job and couldn't talk. He told me to call him back and leave a number and any info needed for the job, which I did. When he called me back on December 1, 2011 we made plans for him to come to my home on December 2. I texted him my address so that he had no problems locating me. As I was headed home on that day, I spoke to him and he realted that he was near myt home and would meet me. After I got home, I contacted him again and he said that he was still on his way. After waiting over an hour at home, I contacted him again and he said that he was lost. This I couldn't understand since he had my address on his phone and he said that he had GPS. After he arrived, he looked over the job and said that he would get back to me the next day, December 3, with an estimate on additional time and materials needed. Prior to leaving, he began to ask me unneeded questions about my job and what my duties were. Although I felt surprised at this and uncomfortable, I answered him anyway. As of now it is December 15th and I HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING FROM THIS MAN NOR THIS COMPANY. So its kinda obvious by now that this was a scam. I wound up having to go with another company and wound up paying even more, but needed the job done before the weather got any worse. Unfortunately, Angies List does not give the customer refunds so I am REALLY UPSET. I WILL NEVER USE THIS "Big Deal" BARGAIN EVER AGAIN, AND I WARN ANYBODY ELSE FROM USING IT. I don't like being taken advantage of in any way, shape or form and I am SERIOUSLY CONTEMPLATING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST PLS REMODELING.

I accidentally scheduled him with another company at the same time. He was very professional about it even though it was an awkward situation. The scheduling conflict was my fault. I can't believe I did this. But Sam was very professional which shows the quality of his work. He was very nice.

Sam arrived on time as I had to meet him at the work site. He removed the old storm door and installed a new storm door. It looks great. Then he repaired the door jam on another door. He removed the old wood and replaced it. Door works well now and is solidly attached to the door jam. He then diagnosed a problem with gutters that were holding water. He adjusted them so that the water flows better to the downspout. Sam is a very personable person, he was on time, worked quickly and carefully, and cleaned up the work area. I plan to have him to more work for me soon. I already gave his name to 2 of my friends.

I found Sam to do some work for my 85 year old aunt. She was having a problem finding someone to do the work for her at a reasonable price. She had a crack in her foundation that was going to be repaired my Perma Seal. But the wood paneling in the basement had to be removed from the walls so Perma Seal could repair the leak. Sam carefully removed the paneling and trim on 2 short walls. He placed the paneling away from the work area so it wouldn't be damaged. After the crack was repaired Sam came back and replaced the paneling and trim work. It was perfectly done - no damage to the paneling or trim. My aunt was very happy with his work.

He provided an estimate for work and we scheduled time for him to do this. He did arrive late, however, notified me and was able to stay late to complete the majority of the work. I also had emergency at one of my other properties and he was able to accommodate me. I needed him to demo a bathroom ceiling due to a leak from my neighbors unit. He was quick and did a great cleanup job. Definitely will use him again for other miscellaneous jobs.

They used sub-contractors and it took a long time for them to give us a quote, long time meaning four or five days. People who were able to come out or give us a quote that day or the very next day and they did the work themselves so that really kind of swayed us against them. We wanted to deal with someone who would be actually doing the work and not somebody who would be hiring it out to somebody else, because we had no idea what that person’s work was like. Therefore, we did not look out for them.

Very pleasant to work with during the two day period. He made sure to arrive early in the morning because I had to leave for work. Nice guy and I will highly recommend him to the next person.

Everything went excellent and exactly as I envisioned. The estimate was right on. They were completely thorough and made every attempt to save me money where possible but the quality of the workmanship was beyond compare. And the job was done within a short amount of time. I would highly recommend this company for any type of bath remodeling needs you may have!

The cabinet project went very well and was planned for in advance. A few days before Christmas our toilet upstairs leaked through the floor and ruined part of the ceiling dry wall in the family room. P.L.S. Remodeling was quick to respond the next morning and repair the enitre dry wall on the ceiling, sand it down and paint. They did an excellent job.
