PLS Remodeling

Description of Work: Sam has done two bathrooms in my home. He does excellent work. I wanted to hire him for my kitchen. Sam kept saying he wanted the job. He would not call back or email back. This went on for weeks. I finally got a hold of him and he lied to me and said he wanted the job once again and he would call me tomorrow. He never did. Have the respect to call people back and if you cannot do the job or do not want the job have the courtesy to tell the truth.

Description of Work: Painting, counter top replacement, door replacement, garage door repair, wooden floor refinishing.

Description of Work: Remodeled full bath. Sam was beyond awesome. He came everyday at the same time and left at the same time. Sam was kind, trustworthy and productive. I would absolutely hire him again. His work is beautiful and professional. I am so pleased to have found him.

Description of Work: Basic handyman work. Broke humidifier trying to turn it on. Had to pay a plumber emergency holiday rates to come out on the morning of Dec. 26th to fix. Had to cut short holiday with family to leave Christmas afternoon because of active leak. A $200 treat to myself to get a couple things fixed up turned out to cost over $500 and nearly had me missing Christmas. Not fantastic.

Description of Work: Bathroom remodel. The remodel went wonderful and I have a gorgeous new bathroom. I literally have zero complaints. This company met all my critera. Excellent workmanship and cleanup. Prompt, considerate and schedule went as planned.

Description of Work: Patched ceiling drywall from a leak.

Description of Work: I purchased a coupon for PLS Remodeling for 3 hours of drywall and handymen services. He repaired a drywall that had been damaged by the removal of a mirror.

Description of Work: I sent PLS Remodeling pictures of a damaged wall and gave me an estimate even through phone. When he got out here he did a job more than what was to be done. He offered to put up a door jammed up in the garage. He quoted me 30$ more than what was estimated but he did his job in an hourly time.

Description of Work: Used a Big Deal coupon for some small drywall repair. Showed up on time and was very proffesional with his work. Cleaned up all waste and did an excellent job with the repair. After painting you can't tell it was ever damaged! I would recommend for any residential projects/rapairs.

Description of Work: Had used the company one other time prior to contacting them for this job. Contacted the provider they responded, and I provided them an overview of what needed to be completed. They indicated that they would contact me to schedule a visit and the work. Never heard from them again. I would not recommend this company, they appear to be very unorganized.

Description of Work: Sam gave us a wonderful impression. He came to downtown Chicago very quickly, I want to say maybe a day after we talked to him about the work that needed to be done. We needed to completely renovate our 2 bedroom downtown Chicago apartment. Ceiling needed to be resurfaced, new tile, counters, sinks, cabinets in both the kitchen and bathrooms, new wood floor needed to be installed in the living room. Sam seemed very knowledgeable, made us aware of some things we never thought about, and gave a very reasonable estimate. The estimate was built very thorough and explained the costs of each item. We ended up using a contractor that was familiar with our building because he was able to show us an actual unit he redid in our building and knew how to get permits approved quickly. In the end, our contractor did an okay job but the communication was not there like I believe it would have been if we used Sam. Same definitely would have been our first choice if this other guy had not come along. In fact, I'm recommending Sam to my brother instead of our other contractor, I have that much faith in him.
