They arrived just before their stated time, completed their evaluation of the problem, listened to our situation and made the repair needed for a lot less than we were advised by another company. We believe the other company actually damaged our garage track as part of the "regular service maintenance" done a few weeks earlier because we did not have any problems with the door/track before then but could not prove it. They blamed the installing company. Said we needed an entire new track system because it was installed incorrectly and then didn't offer us anything but an additional service fee call to come out again. Didn't take ownership of the problem. All this because we had a coupon mailer. We called Overhead Garage (our original installer 15 + years ago). We explained our situation to our repair person and he was wonderful. Did a thorough exam and found no new track was needed or any no new parts. He adjusted the track, asked if we would like new roller that might be quieter since our bedrooms were over the garage, which he installed, and the door works perfectly and is the quietest it has ever been in 15 years...Will definitely use Overhead Garage door again for ALL garage door issues and highly recommend them. Saved us over $400... No more mailers for us....stick with what works...

Like the door and opener only thing that I don't care for is the side door hits rail can't open it all the way have to buy new side door and change it so that it will open out not in

Dan was very responsive and an excellent communicator which was critical because timing had to be coordinated with another contract to create the opening. The installers also were very efficient/professional and did a very good job.

Technician arrived during expected time frame (also called 15 minutes before arriving). The technician was knowledgeable and friendly. The spring and cables were replaced in about an hour, which was really fast. Single door garage, solid wood (very heavy)

Terrible. First I called what I thought was the last service provider I used: Low Overhead. When the call was answered Overhead Garage I inquired was this Low Overhead and the rep said yes, I asked are you still located in Roselle? I was told no they were in a southern suburb but still serviced Roselle. I setup an appointment and a rep came to our house. Initially the serviceman was rude to my wife. Took a 1< minute look at the opener said its too old needs a new board. My wife inquired about replacing it and he said he had an old board in the truck. Asked about the cost was told it would be included in the $139.00 service fee. He then tried to contact his home office to get approval, all the time bad mouthing the home office staff. Finally was told he could do it but not for the price he said. Also he did not have the part available and did not have time to complete it. He was very much in a hurry to get to the next job in Aurora so he could go away for the weekend. My wife wrote him a check for the ridiculous $134.00 service call for which he did nothing. We were told if we purchased a new opener and had it installed we would receive $134.00 credit towards that price. Not happy I emailed thru Angie's list a request for a quote. Never received any response or followup. So at this point I am out $134.00 for a brief service call from a company who bought another company's phone listing and is "claiming" to be them, and providing horrible customer from the home office to the field technician. I would NEVER use this company again nor recommend it.

They arrived shortly after I called. The repairman was courteous and knowledgeable. He fixed the door quickly and did an excellent job. He also lubricated the door which made it much more quite. I had him install a new controller which closes the door automatically after a time interval so we no longer have to worry if we think we forgot to close the door. Inspection and adjustments done with minimal effort - adjustments to light on opener lasts about 10 seconds where before it was a couple minutes Light sensor on door guides does not react to the movement when you enter the garage. Door does not appear to have been adjusted on the tension.

Service was great and reasonably priced. All my questions were answered. Door is operating more smoothly and quietly.

This company called and expected someone to be available before the time they had requested to perform the service. The service was very quick with little detail. The company change some settings without owner approval

Great! They came up with a simple and practical solution to repairing the attachment hook system for our opener.

We were having a problem with the garage door and they came to inspect it. Very clear that the opener was failing, and he replaced it on the spot. Very professional. New opener works great.

They did a fabulous job of tuning up our garage doors and the doors are actually even quieter, when openi and closing, than they were before. Very professional and we will be using them again in the future!

I had the garage door tuned up and had the weather strip on the bottom of the door replaced. The service man was on time and did a great job.

Scott and Mike called to let me 15 mins before they arrived at the estimated time. Both were very professional. I thought I would have to replace my garage door based on the way it was hanging on the rails but Scott said it could be fixed at a reasonable price, he also gave me a 10% discount because I went through Angie's List. He did say I would have to replace the door soon (it is the original door for my 20 year old house, Scott left me a couple of brochures on new doors and gave me some tips on picking a new one. I will definitely call Overhead to quote when I am ready to replace by the end of the year due to their professionalism and service.
