Everything turned out well. The scheduling process was very easy, they did the work exactly as promised, and the technicians arrived on time and acted professionally. Furthermore, the tune up even resolved some of the issues we were experiencing with the door.

I'm satisfied with the services provided. Not too satisfied with the price and experience. I purchased two garage door tune up deals through AL ($78). I forgot the gentleman's name, but service man greased some items and tried to reduce the noise of the opener. He also mentioned that a few of my rollers were broken and my bottom weather stripping was chewed up (i knew this before he came). I was told how much each roller will be and each foot of weather stripping. I was told that he didn't have the weather stripping in the truck and he would have to come back. What I didn't realize at this point was that there was an additional $120/hour labor rate, but the work could be completed in 30 mins ($60). I asked about a reduction in labor rates since I already paid for them to come out with the two deals I purchased. I was told that's not how it works. Okay, fair enough. I wasn't going to take another day off of work to save a few bucks with another company. The service man went back to his truck to write everything up. I went inside, got ready for work, and started my car. When I came back outside, he told me that he spoke with the owner and all the work must be done today or AL will not pay them for the deal. No idea what one thing has to do with the other, but I went with it. I asked how he would install the weather stripping if it's not in the truck. Apparently he didn't have a like-kind replacement. I actually prefer the one he installed than the one that was damaged. Once the work was completed, I was told it took and hour and 10 mins. So I ended up being charged $120 for the labor. Overall, I'm happy with the service provided. My interaction with the provider is not what I expected and I think $362 for 10 rollers and weather stripping is a little high considering I already paid for them to come out. So overall $440 for everything.

The tech called and arrived on time, He was friendly and knowledgeable, He answered my questions and made suggestions.

On 3/3/2014 I purchased an Angie's List "Big Deal" being offered by Overhead Garage Door Inc. for a tune-up of my garage door. Following the purchase of the order I was contacted by the company and a scheduled date and time for the tune up was arranged. On the date of the tune-up I was contacted by the service tech., Brad, and informed that he was on the way and would be arriving in 15-20 minutes. Brad arrived at the prearranged time and in a timely fashion made the necessary adjustments of the door and lubricated the moving parts. He also lubricated the actual garage door opener. and adjusted the closing limit of the door. The entire process took no more than 15 minutes.

It worked out very well. They did a nice job. They were here on time and they were professional and all that kind of good stuff.

Scott called before he came out and arrived at scheduled time. He replaced the broken spring and tested door operation. He explained the warranty and left a sticker to place in the garage in case I need his services again. Overall I was impressed with Scott and Overhead Garage Door and would highly recommend.

Was very impressed at how fast he was able to come out. Scott did a great job of diagnosing the problem and fixing our broken spring. He was very knowledgeable and showed me how to keep our garage door working properly as well. He sprayed all the hinges and rollers as well and i didn't even have to ask him to. He said that it would help with the noise level of our door, since it is pretty loud. Will definitely use them again if we need more garage repair.

My garage door opener hasn't been working. I called Overhead because they installed my garage door about 5 years ago. I called on a Thursday and was able to schedule an appointment for Saturday. My appointment was between 8-10 am. He was very punctual and called about 20 minutes before arriving. I had the option of repairing my current opener which was almost 20 years old or replacing. I chose to replace and requested a keypad which would add $50. It was going to take an hour and half to install which turned out the be the case. Afterwards, he showed me how to use the opener and how to program the keypad. I had a positive experience and would use them again.

Fantastic! Brad couldn't have been more polite or knowledgeable. He showed some problems with how the door was initially installed, and some adjustments he made to improve that. He told me estimates for certain repairs that we would need down the road, and gave me all the options. The poor guy was as nice as could be while dripping sweat in my garage in the 90 degree heat!

Initial estimate came in high but called back to discuss and they made a great offer. Also, when they came out, they said we don't need a new garage door opener, even though two others tried to sell us one. They were one of two providers who said it would be unnecessary. I appreciate this and I know we will call them when the day comes to replace it. Friendly, prompt, cleaned up thoroughly, and we are happy with the work.

The repair person arrived during the 4 hour window as stated. Four rollers were replaced, one at the top and bone at the bottom of each side of the door. Two cracked hinges were replaced. A 3" pulley on one side was replaced and the door and opener rail were lubed. All completed in less than an hour.

They actually did a very good job. They came out and even though the garage door was broken, he took some extra time and didn’t charge me for it, to get my car out of the garage and then it was over Christmas vacation, the manufactures was closed down, and it wasn’t their fault that the installation was delayed. Once the doors came in, they were very prompt about getting it in and it has been running well since then. The garage door opener that we got was a high-end make so that added to the cost, but otherwise, the price was reasonable. What stood out was their service and that they took the time to give a good quote and that he put forward the extra effort to get my car out, which he didn’t really need to do but it was helpful. He suggested that it would not be safe to replace which we had wondered about so it wasn’t a surprise.

Called them at 8:00am on a Saturday. Gave me a time slot of 12 - 3 same day. Called about 15 minutes before arriving at 2 and was done in 1/2 hour or so. One spring was broke, recommended replacing both. Replaced both springs with longer, higher rated springs. Bob told me they should last twice as long as the last pair. Adjusted lift height of the door too. Courteous, professional and quick. Great service provider.

I called to have an estimate regarding a tune-up on our garage door. Service-man Brad was scheduled between 11a and 2p; he arrived at about 1030a. Brad called and asked if he could come by early from his last call; very professional and courteous in my book. Upon arrival, I explained the problem [opener light not working and very noisy opening and closing of the door]. Brad explained what he believed the solutions were and estimated the cost at $110.00. I said yes, please go ahead and about 20 minutes later, Brad was finished. I asked for some information regarding new openers and overall security around garage doors in general. Brad took the time to answer all my questions and provided me with pamphlets and prices to consider. I cannot say enough about Brad and his company. I will be using them again for sure.

I called them at 9:30 AM with a broken spring on the garage door. They sent Scott out and the work was done by 11:15 AM!!!!! I was very impressed with the promptness of their response. Scott was professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I will definitely recommend this company to my friends.

A representative came to my house, gave me an estimate and date for installation. I agreed with the extimate and ordered the door. The technicians showed up on the date and time promised. They went right to work and finished the job in good time. That was 2 years ago. I have had not problems with the door since its installation. They are a good company.

Very happy with the service. I had really mucked up the door during a DIY replacement of the torsion spring. Although our spring replacement went seemingly fine, in the process we had apparently dislodged the cable wind. Thus, when attempting to open the door, it became stuck and crooked, with a corner off the tracks. The cable was wrapped around the the torsion bar. I called for service in the morning and got an afternoon appointment. He arrived right at the top of the 3 hour window I was given. He was quick (~40 minutes), efficient, attentive to detail, and pleasant. The price was very fair and I'm quite pleased that he did not attempt to take advantage of the situation (in which it really looked worse than it was). While he gave me a couple of suggestions of additional things I might do to maintain the door, he didn't pressure me with any "up selling". I would definitely use their service again if I have any future problems.

As stated above....the work was done on schedule and we have had no problems with the doors. they are Colpay doors and have a rich look and texture....we would use this company again.

Our old Liftmaster garage door opener stopped working and we wanted to replace it with the same brand. I chose Overhead Garage Door opener because they carry Liftmaster and the reviews were very good. My only complaint is the phone service I received when I called the company. The person who helped me was very curt and I had a difficult time getting answers to my questions. Since she indicated that they charge to come to your home for an estimate, I wanted to ask some questions first to make sure about what the procedure would be and what I would get when the technician came to my house. If the reviews hadn't been so good, I probably would not have gone any further based on the phone call. But I did go ahead, and scheduled the service call. The technician was prompt and explained my choices for a new opener and answered all my questions. He was very professional. He installed the opener right away and we have been very happy with it.

The garage door broke on a Saturday, the office was still open and I was able to make an appointment for the coming Monday. The guy came to fix the door right on time, was very professional and respectful. He explained what was wrong and my options to fix or replace. I chose to fix it, after discussing with him (there was a large price difference and the life expectancy of the opener was like 10-15 years after the fix, so it seemed like a no-brainer). I appreciated that he didn't try to talk me into paying more to have it replaced. He fixed the opener quickly and now it works great.

They scheduled an appointment for the afternoon of my call and Nathan showed up at the appointed time. He made the repair and serviced and adjusted the doors and openers and explained everything as he went. Good job!!

My garage door was completely off the track when I called. The technician, Wes, was very prompt, courteous and professional. He arrived early enough during the 2 hour window so that I wasn't stuck at home all day waiting for him. He told me exactly what needed to be fixed and how much it would cost before doing anything. He fixed the problem extremely fast and efficiently. I would definitely recommend and use this company again in the future.

I called their dispatch around 12:00pm, and they gave me a window of between 12-3 on the same day. The technician arrived around 1:30pm and called before to let us know he would arrive in about 25 minutes. He was very knowledgeable and educated us about garage door maintenance and parts. The garage was fixed in about an hour. A very easy and pleasurable experience. We would use them again when needed.

The spring broke on our garage door, so after referring to Angie's List, I called Overhead Door at 12:15 PM, and made the appointment time for the same day - 3-6 PM. The receptionist indicated they couldn't make a scheduled time any later than 3, and that Scott should arrive sometime between 3 and 6. She quoted $179 for this job. Scott arrived shortly after 3PM and had pretty much wrapped up the job by 3:40, Not much else to say except they honored the 10% Angie's list coupon and everything worked out great. We'll use Overhead Door again next time we need a lift.
