Garage door didn't close properly in the morning. Came home from work early to inspect it, and found that it wasn't a repair I wanted to tackle. With a garage door stuck in the half-open position, I wanted the repair done right away. Called Overhead Garage Door around 3:15 requesting a service call that day. The dispatcher was very courteous and said she'd try to find someone to help, and she did. Brad, the installer, had already arrived home but came back out to help us out. He arrive around 4, only around 45 minutes after my initial call. He performed a thorough inspection and corrected the problem, and also provided a quote for new doors, since ours are getting old. Brad was professional and courteous the whole time, and was a pleasure to work with. The price paid was a little more than I would expect for routine door maintenance but I was happy to pay it for a rush job, and we live out in the country, so in my mind the price was very fair. In fact, some companies would try to stick the customer with a special rush order charge; I was appreciative that Overhead Garage Doors didn't use that tactic. Total time at our house, including measurements for the quote, was a little more than 1 hour. Total time between my initial call and having the job complete was less than 2 hours.

there wasn't much to be done but the service provider was extremely responsive, on time, and knowledgeable. They have a good local reputation and I would use them again.

Service was great. Door had been sticking for the past two winters when it gets really cold. Thought I may need a new one, but after this tuneup, works like a charm.

Tech was Scott and he went through the process of balancing the door, lubing the rollers, hinges and opener rail. Very professional and arrived as scheduled.

After purchasing the garage door tune-up service I was immediately contacted by the provider to schedule a date. They were very efficient and professional and were able to accommodate the date I wanted even though it was only a few days out. The individual who performed the tune-up was very knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through each item on the door. I was very happy with the work performed.

Did a very good job, explained everything thoroughly

Service tech was prompt and professional. Pointed out that inexpensive opener was poor quality, why it failed, and suggested that I replace it with a professional grade opener that their company recommends which costs $450 including installation. It is a Liftmaster residential 1/2HP model. 'I' made the dumb mistake of not taking the service tech's recommendation in the first place and just did the basic service. He ordered the replacement part, came back, installed it. The work took 2 trips and I believe the total cost was about $200 or $250. Shortly after that another part failed. It is in a 2 car garage in a building that is tenant occupied so I spent more time with more calls from tenants unnecessarily. The third the time service tech came out, temporarily remedied the problem, I realized how dumb I was not to replace the opener to begin with since it was older and not a good quality product. The tech was incredibly nice, came back again, installed the Liftmaster, can't remember the total cost but it was around $500 total for the 3 trips, installation of the quality Liftmaster, and 3 remotes. Use these people. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Btw, this is the first time I have submitted a review. Although I haven't called this company back out to do service my home garage doors, writing this review reminded me and I will be calling them this week.

- This company bought the phone number of a previous garage door provider so I did not reach the intended provider. -The repair person said the motor was burned out on my old opener, he failed to mention that the motor has a lifetime warranty. - I decided to just get a new opener. Since I was paying for a service call I figured I would let this company install it. - The prices were all well above what would be considered fair or reasonable but, since I was already paying for the service call I went ahead with it. - THREE DAYS AFTER GETTING THE NEW OPENER A CABLE BROKE AND DAMAGED THE TRACK. -I DID NOT CALL THIS COMPANY TO DO THE REPAIRS. ONE WOULD EXPECT THAT THEY WOULD HAVE NOTICED THAT THE CABLES WERE IN POOR CONDITION AND I CAN ASSUME THEY WERE LOOKING FOR ANOTHER PAY-DAY. I WOULD AVOID THIS PROVIDER UNLESS YOU DO NOT MIND PAYING A MUCH HIGHER. I found an offer on Angies list for the same opener, installed for $339.00. Overhead offered to "price-match" other offers and refund $50.00 to me. If they do that I will hold them with higher regard

Rob Olsen came out and repaired our garage door within three hours of calling. He was friendly and knowledgeable.

The guy was quick and helpful. He was professional and I had no problems scheduling. He gave me some good information for the future.

Glenn came and 'tuned up' and adjust our garage door. He was punctual, polite, professional and explained everything he did and gave recomendations. We ended up buying a garage door opener from them and are extremely satisfied with it.

We have two garage doors, and we paid to have them both serviced. They run so softly now! Job well done!

It seemed to go well. The garage now operates more quietly than before, which is what I was looking for. The person who did the work was friendly, and worked quickly. The package was described as: Includes 21-point safety inspection Lubricating all moving parts on door and opener Balancing door for proper weight Tightening hinges and making minor adjustments I ran back inside for a few minutes, so I wasn't outside 100% of the time he was there. I have to assume he did all those things. The only thing I saw was lubricating all the moving parts on the door and opener. There was no report for the 21-point safety inspection. I wasn't given any results but that could just mean nothing was wrong. Didn't see any hinges being tightened or doors being balanced, but that could just mean it didn't need it. Overall I think they did a good job.

It went well. The tech explained that when 1 spring goes that it won't be long before the other one goes and he suggested that we replace them both. Gave a fair price on 2 nd spring. So he replaced both and everything is working fine. He was punctual and courteous and even put booties on when entering the house.

Inspected all parts of the door and identified that there was a tiny crack on the top of the door in the middle which could be a potential for a greater issue down to the road. Recommended that a bar be installed now to prevent this issue. The install took a few minutes only. Completed the greasing of all the moving pieces on the door. Noted that all was working as it should. Door runs smooth now.

Everything went good. The technician was friendly and polite. He was very thorough in telling me what he was doing.
