While in a rush, my wife backed our car into one of our garage doors. The damage was not severe but it was substantial enough to not allow it to close. I called the company and was able to get an appointment within a few hours. The technician, Nathan, showed up within the given time frame and was extremely professional/helpful in repairing the dent. He also took a look at our garage door openers and advised that their useful life will be ending within the next couple of years. Since I know nothing about garage doors, Nathan was kind enough to explain the kinds on the market (e.g., chain v. belt) as well as few other tips. I could not have been happier with the service received from this company and their technician.

Recently I purchased a big deal to have my overhead garage door serviced. It had been several years since it was installed by another company. From my order of the Big Deal to when their technician pulled away, this was a SUPREME experience. The company was in contact with me immediately to schedule a mutually convenient time, they were punctual and their tech even called to let me know he was about 20 minutes away. He performed his routine maintenance, adjusted the tension in the door and re-aligned the sensors. He advised me of things I should keep my eyes open for in the future and instructed me on some features that I did not even know I could do with the door. He also showed me how to change the code and best practices should I go out of town. If you need service on your overhead door, this is your company. Ask for Nathan (technician), he was great!

Nathan was awesome. He was right on time. He finished quickly and explained how everything works. I am very happy with his service.

What the guy did, I could have done. In fact, I would normally do it myself. It wasn't a good deal. I don't need somebody to just spray the wheels. I can do that. As far as I'm concerned, there wasn't much of a tune-up. So, that was a waste of money. They were prompt. The last company I used through Angie's List replaced the wheels and did all sorts of stuff. The guy was very knowledgeable and answered a lot of my questions. He was even able to spend time talking to me about new garage doors, which I initiated. It wasn't like he was trying to push anything.

He showed up and he didn't know it was an Angie's List promotion so that was kind of a problem. Otherwise, he was fine.

Called after the first company blew me off. Arrived right on time and quickly replaced both springs.

Ron was right on time and very polite and knowledgeable. He did everything perfectly and then showed me how to work the system (reprogramming steps, keypad, and extra features if I wanted to add down the road). I was ready to buy a second door opener as the second door was noisy and was about 20 years old. He said there was no need as everything looked fine and the gears were in good shape. So long as I did not mind the noise it could last a while longer. I appreciated his honesty as I was basically told him I was ready to buy a new one just to get it out of the way now. So, we will take Ron's advise and save the money. I will recommend Overhead Garage Door Inc to everyone!! (Oh Ron left NO mess at all.)

They were great. Bought the special on Angie's List then called them up so I could schedule as soon as possible. They asked if the same day would work, I agreed since I was already home. 20 minutes later my doorbell rings. I was so impressed with their speed of service in addition to their absolute professionalism, I know who I will be calling in the future. If there was a grade above A, this place would have it hands down.

Phil was on time, very friendly, and professional.

Tech showed up right on time and began working immediately. He checked all points on the opener, door, hinges, track, etc. He gave recommendations for ongoing maintenance. I had a problem with one of the lights on the opener unit, which he repaired quickly and easily. I look forward to using this company in the future should I need further service of any kind on my garage door/opener.

Scheduled the $40 Big Deal Garage Door Service Check Up. Was given a 2 hour window and my wife stayed home during this time. The 2 hour window passed with nobody showing up nor calling. So, we called them and were told the service person was held up at a previous job. A call letting us know would have been nice. As soon as the service person arrived they said we will need a new cable for an additional $89. Not certain if this was really required but always seems to be the case when purchasing a low cost "check up". Worked went quickly and the garage door is more quiet.

Overhead Garage Doors showed up on time. He was friendly and efficient. The garage doors are so quiet now...I am not sure why I waited so long to have the maintenance done. I will call them back next year!

Very happy with the service.

Communicated very well about the timing of service call. Performed a seemingly thorough inspection and lubricated various parts of the system, all while explaining the mechanics and answering all questions. Probably should have used a mini-vac on the control unit (or at least an air duster) rather than physically blowing off the dust, but that probably falls more under homeowner maintenance.

Overall we were very satisfied with everything done. Our doors are old and haven't had any tune ups in a few years. We didn't feel like it was an easy job. Everything was done quickly and completely. We'd definitely call this company again.

As a new homeowner I was excited and scheduled with this company for the same day of my closing. Everything seemed fine and in working order until my husband and I showed up on October 10 pressed the opener and the door froze halfway up. We called and was informed that we'd have to agree to pay for them to come out. The opener is still under warranty and so is the service so I'm at a loss why a week later I would have to pay more money.

Very professional and friendly. Went the extra mile by changing light bulbs that I couldn't reach in the garage.

Tried to schedule an appointment, only had next Monday available, which I could not schedule. Next appointment for estimate was another week away. I was able to schedule 3 other providers in the next 3 days, so not sure of this company's availability. Glad they have so much business.

Arrived not only on time, but a few minutes early, did the job fast, put stickers with contact information on the garage door and on the wall by the garage door opener. The door is much quieter now, we are happy.

Did very little for the money. Mentioned gap at bottom of door that allows moisture to come in. He did nothing and offered no solution.

Very friendly and professional individual performed all parts of service.

Very well and very quick. Our garage door is working very well now. I will call on them again in a year to do the same thing!
