I made the call to have someone look at our noisy garage door opener. We had just purchased a new home and was concerned that we would end up needing a whole new garage door opener unit. They came and had the problem fixed within ten minutes by lubricating the track. The service provider told that a it looked like a few of the rollers were cracked, showed me what he was referring to and explained that a few would soon need to be replaced. He was done within 1/2 hour.

They spayed WD-40 on the door hinges, then told me they could sell me a completely new system, except that they didn't sell a system that fit my garage measurements. They were at my house for 5 minutes in total. Worst 40 bucks I've ever spent.

Got appointment right away, arrived on time, job done as required. No problems... good job. Everything was fine.

The service tech was very prompt and took care of a potential future issue. The garage door is a lot quieter now and smoother. Glad I had this work done.

The service went well, and the gentleman that came out to provide service was very nice to both my wife and myself. He let us know what was wrong with the opener, completed the repairs and left afterwards. Overall it took probably 45 minutes or so. I would certainly use Overhead Garage Door Inc. again if we have problems in the future.

They did a great job fixing my garage door opened.

He showed up on time, tightened a few nuts, lubricated the rollers, popped a roller back into the rail, and discussed the state my opener and door were in.

The service man did a fine job, we just felt that he was trying to sell us more than we needed.

Everything went as smooth as it could possibly go, communication thru email was constant and was able to select a date that worked for me and the provider. They also answered my multiple questions that I had for them via email before the day of the scheduled service. The date of service also went flawless, technician called me when he was on he way, when he arrived he answered all of my questions that I had for him and also gave me a few tips of how to keep my garage doors lubricated. I ended up getting a quote from him for replacement on a single garage door that is damaged, and hopefully will follow up with them in a few days with our decision. I would highly recommend this provider to anyone who is looking for service on their garage doors, I relied on other angie's list users reviews when I decided to use this provider and I a glad I did.

There wasn't much to it. He just came out and looked at my door and he said it's fine. They are close and convenient. He kind of explained the components, pieces and parts and maintenance-wise what I should be looking out for type of thing but I didn't really go for any of that. That was kind of pointless. He kept on talking to me about the tough job and how he was stuck in the traffic and how he hates the traffic. I just didn't think that was all appropriate.

Contacted Overhead Garage Door via Angie's List email explaining our situation and a few hours later got a response telling me to call their office. Oooookay, fine. I guess I'll have to explain this all over again on the phone. They were able to send a guy out the next day, so good marks for that. The guy wasn't rude, but neither was he particularly nice--kind of like their emailed response. He fixed the sticking problem in about 20 minutes for a mere $135! Also thoughtfully put a sticker with their contact information over the old one for a different company next to the controls. Claimed they had purchased that business, or something or other. Whatever. In summary: I'm not impressed. I'd rate them a solid Meh. They did the work and they did it promptly but left me feeling a bit taken advantage of and unappreciated. Won't be calling them again.

Perfect couldn't have gone better.

All went very well. The appointment lasted about 35 minutes. The man was very nice and showed me what he was doing along the way as well as made recommendations on a couple improvements that he would make. We have a hole in our garage door that may require repair so he dropped off a price list for new doors.

Nathan came on time and explained me what he would be going to do and finished the job on time. He is a real professional and would strongly recommend Overhead Garage door for any Garage door related activities.

Did a wonderful job - explained to my mom what was wrong and gave a discount because I was an Angie's member. My mom said he was very professional and would definitely use the company again.

After tune up garage door now goes up and down more smoothly and more quiet. great job

I felt that all went well. After inspecting the system, which is a Genie screw-type, Brad explained what needed to be done. He was very polite and was done in no time. I took advantage of a special that was offered on Angie's List that saved me $10 for an annual inspection and adjustment. Great deal!

It went very well. It needed very little work. He cleaned up very well and let me know about preventive measures about my garage door.

The service as sold mentioned about 21 point inspection and garage winterization. However, actual service performed was very very basic. Just spraying the tracks with WD 40 was all that the service was done. Not worth paying $39 for the service

Scott did a great job. He called to ask if it was ok to arrive early. He was very professional and quickly assessed the problems. We thought we would have to replace the garage door opener but it turns out that the sensors required minor adjustments. He also fixed the keypad and tested all of our openers. Gave great advice to extend the life of our garage doors. Very helpful, professional and courteous.

They performed the service but my garage door broke down shortly after.

I purchased a tune-up and requested to replace the weather-stripping. During the tune-up, they found that the carriage was breaking. I did not know it was damaged, but it was evident it was deteriorating due to wear-and-tear when he showed me. I am glad he came out because I would have had bigger problems with my garage door if the carriage wasn't fixed. I was overall pleased with the service. The technician was knowledgeable and took the time to explain what needed to be done.

Fantastic experience. Called, arrived on time, and completed the work in 20 minutes. Very professional. After the service, the garage was more quiet than I thought possible. Very professional.
