Weber Furniture service has been serving the greater Chicago area since 1950. We help our customers maintain the beauty and usefulness of their furniture. We offer, furniture re-upholstery, refinishing and repair, antique restoration and on site touch up service. We also offer leather restoration and repair and caning and rushing. We have custom fabrics and have thousands of fabric and leather samples at our facility. We can also order from all major fabric mills. We offer pick up and delivery service. The cost varies depending on the distance from our shop. We are located on the north side of Chicago on Ravenswood just south of Peterson Avenue.

Description of Work: I broke the dining room chair of a friend, the seat and back were separated almost completely. This was a chair 50-60 years old. It took about 5 weeks but the chair was repaired flawlessly! |

Description of Work: I had a coffee table and nesting tables that needed to be refinished. The nesting tables were dark wood with holes on the top of one. Webber lighten the tables and there are no holes. The tables look amazing. On the coffee table there were scratches with a water mark. The scratches and water mark are gone and the table has a beautiful finish. All the furniture was baker so it was well worth the expense to redfish them to the standard of the high end furniture. I have been using Webber for 30 years and I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Weber repaired a broken spindle on a dining room chair. I hit the minimum charge, which seemed a bit high but the work was very well done (you can't tell it was repaired) and they had the piece back to me within two weeks. Would definitely use them again for complex furniture repairs.

Description of Work: As usual, the people at Weber were wonderful. I had a favorite barrel chair reupholstered. The designer was a big help in finding fabric, the delivery people were prompt and careful and the chair came back looking wonderful. Have used them before and will use them again. Have recommended them to friends.

I brought the tables in for an estimate but that was my choice; I could have emailed a picture for an estimate. Great attention was given to exactly what I wanted, including providing wood stain samples and determining how much of the table I wanted to have refinished (e.g. they could have done just the top). Throughout the whole process, the staff were attentive and efficient. The work they did is absolutely meticulous and the finishes are rich. The tables have been completely revived and are now show pieces. The work Weber does is well worth the cost. I would trust them with anything, even family heirlooms. This is a class act. Apparently Weber also does reupholstering, caning and furniture repair. I would use them for these services without hesitation.
Description of Work: Dave and his staff refinished two wooden tables. Both tables are quite old and were in poor condition with scratched surfaces and uneven finish.
