I called Vanguard and they came and fixed the problem. Jan and George did a very good job and they provided the best possible solution to the problem. They price they charge is very reasonable because I saw them really worked so hard. Other plumbers will probably talk you out so that you will pay more, but not them. They will fix your problem head on and give you a suggestion on what to do so that problems will not happen again. Trust me friends...you can trust these guys.

I was really impressed with the owner, Jan, who took the the time in advance of the service call to really understand my plumbing issues. He had me send pictures of all the faucets in question so he could confirm what parts we would need to fix the problem. I appreciated his continuous communication and updates. When his plumber, George, arrived at my condo (on time), he was fully prepared to make the repairs. George was great - no-nonsense, professional, got the job done. The price was a little high, but the level of service and quality of work was worth it to me. I felt Vanguard was a reliable plumbing service which I would gladly recommend to others, and would use again myself.

I called and was given an appointment the next day. George came and fixed the clogged shower and did so rather quickly. He stayed long enough to run the water awhile to make sure that the drain was in fact clear. I appreciate the quick service as well as him making sure that it really was clear. Thank you!

George arrived exactly on time and figured there was a clog. He first tried to clear the clog with the smaller snake, but it was not long enough. He then used a larger/longer snake and worked it deep into the plumbing and cleared it. George then fixed the open dishwasher drain so that if there are back ups in the future they would back up into the sink rather than into the cabinet under the sink. George was professional and a nice guy to boot

Jan returned my call immediately and asked the right questions to get the job going. George from Vanguard Plumbing was on time, friendly, and professional. His work was excellent and neat. George also offered helpful suggestions about a future project. I was very pleased with Vanguard and will definitely call them to work on my old house again.

They identified the problem, which was a leaky faucet and were able to replace the faucet with one they had in stock on the truck. No second appointment was needed. They were very professional, timely and the work was good quality. Thank you!

George came through for me, as I have guests arriving in one day! He was very professional, friendly and fast. He even through in some advice on what to do and products to use to help prevent future clogs. This was my first time using Vanguard and I would definitely call them for any future problems or projects.

I called Jan at Vanguard for an appointment and he was there on Monday. He ran a camera through the the sewage line and found three blockages. The first was foreign debris in the line and the second two were root balls growing into the line. Jan spent nearly an hour retrieving the foreign debris from the line and another 2-3 hours clearing out the roots. All of this being done with less than ideal access for his cutter heads. Jan allowed me to look over his shoulder for the entire process and walked me through each step. It was fascinating to watching the work on the video camera. He clearly explained his diagnosis which added up to exactly the problems we were having without me even mentioning certain points. I will absolutely be calling vanguard again and now have a regular plumber for all of my plumbing needs.

It was great doing business with Jan and Jorg at Vanguard Plumbing. They were courteous and professional from the first call to the final cleanup. They arrived on time and completed the work on schedule at what I considered a reasonable price. Also, they didn't mind adding in some unplanned rooting on one of our bathtubs with an appreciated "since we are here" discount.

George and Jan from Vanguard did excellent quality work on the Drain Pipe replacement and also replacing drain pipes under kitchen double sink. They were easy to work with, returned phone calls and were able to get me into the schedule quickly. The work was done well and the work space cleaned up nicely. No more leaks :)

Jan is easily the best plumber I've ever had in my home. He's extremely detail oriented and explains exactly what he needs to do to get it done right. This is key for me. I want it right, not just done so it works, but so that it's right. Jan explained what was done wrong by the previous plumber who cleared the line less than 3 years ago. They simply punched a hole about 2 inches wide so that the water would drain and maybe some solid got through. They didn't use a full size 6 inch claw to completely clear the line. Jan sat on a milk crate in my basement for seven hours to get that line as clear as the day it was laid. You cannot go wrong with Jan. I'm having him back in a couple weeks to clear out the catch basin in my backyard because I know it will be done RIGHT. Not just done, but done RIGHT.

Very well. It took about 20 minutes to replace. The only issue was the billing. They charge a processing fee if you use a charge card. This was not listed on Angies list. This may make me reluctant to use their services in the future, especially for major repairs.

George came in on time, did great work and make sure all was in order before he left. Top notch work. Will come back to Vanguard indeed.

It was expensive, but went well. The main cost was the batteries, but there was no getting around that. I got several quotes and all were about the same.
