The guy who answered the phone was calm and pleasant and said yes they could do the move. The movers showed up on time, wrapped everything and moved it. Very nice example of professionalism!

I called Tony and made an appointment to be moved out of the condo I was selling (1 bedroom) one day and then to be moved into my new condo the following day. He said it wouldn't be a problem (a reasonable fee is charged for overnight storage). I spoke with Tony in the morning to get a window of when they would be arriving. The movers (George, Alex, and David) arrived on time and were polite and hard working. They wrapped all furniture and transported it along with about 50 boxes without any incident. Under One Roof also provided wardrobe boxes for the move. They were extremely quick and didn't take a break. The following day, the movers (Alex, David, Danny) showed up on time and were just as quick unloading the furniture and boxes as they were the previous day. Tony was there he 2nd day to oversee the work. I did not receive an estimate before my move, but I felt that the fee charged was reasonable for the work done. Under One Roof did an exceptional job.

They did a very good job, they were very professional, they came with a lot of guys, they packed everything very good, they worked very quick, they were very careful with our items.

It was snowing a lot that week, and Tony tried to postpone. It snowed a lot that day, and Tony tried to postpone. I convinced him to come, and he did a super-quick walk-through of our place, scribbled some numbers on a legal pad and handed me my estimate. He smelled strongly of cigarettes.

I contracted for three men and a truck. I had all my stuff boxed up and ready to go except for the furniture. They arrived right on time and worked like crazy. Used blankets on everything that needed it and plastic wrapped mattresses and furniture. The truck was packed well, they really knew what they were doing. They were polite, good humored and just great to work with. Made sure to ask me where everything went when we got to the new place. A perfect move.

They are very nice. Their quotes are reasonable compared to other people. They were very responsive and efficient in getting back to me.

They were great. Showed up on time, were professional and the move went flawlessly even though I hadn't packed very well. They helped put all the little bits in boxes and got everything moved without a scratch.

They went above and beyond what a mover should have done...all the stuff that went wrong, yet they remained cool and collected throughout the whole thing. No one measures the door before buying a piece of furniture and what a problem it cause.

The team was polite, hard working, and fast. The team leader had more than 20 years of experience and his team also had experience, which made the move very fast because they knew exactly how to pack our storage space. It was a painless experience with no damage to our house or furniture.

Under One Roof was great. The three movers unloaded the truck quickly and efficiently (two hours). They were very attentive to my needs and worked with me to coordinate timing with the moving company delivering the truck. I would use them again and recommend them wholeheartedly.

Did an outstanding job. Jose, the leader of both days' moves, did a fantastic job of organizing the crew and handling the entire move, in addition to doing his share of the lifting. Would definitely recommend.

Initially, the three movers were courteous and polite. There were a couple of times when I noticed that two of the guys were taking a bit of a break, after they had been there for about an hour. The unfortunate aspect of this move came when they got to the storage unit and I noticed that the mover was not making an efficient use of the space. Once all of the items were removed from the truck another mover started to assist. As they tried to get all of my boxes and furniture into the unit, they bickered back and forth, which only distracted them from getting the job done and they almost destroyed a $2000 bike in the process. The entire process was unprofessional and time consuming, which is unacceptable when I am paying them by the hour. One mover also made the comment to me that he wanted to move me quickly because he was anticipating a generous tip and another told admitted that they loaded the truck improperly making the move longer. They need to be more focused and less talkative.

Three guys from their crew did the first day move in 2 1/2 hours. They were very professional and efficient. The second day the same three guys loaded the truck and a fourth joined them for the unpacking. We were very satisfied with their service and professionalism, and were willing to do whatever it took to complete the job and keep us satisfied. We will definitely use them again.

Great! I spoke to Tony (the owner) when I called for an estimate. He was very helpful, and explained to me the best way to accomplish moving both couches at the least cost. He explained how I would be charged. I called him 2 days before the scheduled move also, because the weather forecast was horrible. He assured me his guys are very experienced, and unless the weather was dangerous, all would be fine. The 2 guys (Jose and Dorsey) showed up on time, and were very polite. It was a miserable cold and rainy day. They were careful about wiping their feet, and also wrapped the couches completely with padded blankets and plastic before taking them outside. These guys moved 2 large, heavy couches in and out of tight city condo hallways/doorways and up/down 2 tight outdoor deck staircases without a word of complaint. Not only did they do a terrific job, but they were FAST. They completed this job for me just under the 2 hour time minimum that was my base charge for the move.

The minor damage was the plastic part of the TV base, but it was not important. I liked them because they were efficient. The guys who helped me with the move were ok, and the price they charged was fair.

These guys were great! Tony was fast to get back with me to set up a date. Even though, on moving day he was running late from another job, he called to keep me updated. He estimated the job spot on, and was finished slightly ahead of schedule. I will definitely use these guys again.

I had all of my stuff in storage until I closed on my condo. They showed up on time, introduced themselves (and called me by name the rest of the time), then proceeded to pack everything efficiently and carefully into the truck. Once at the condo they moved everything up to my 3rd floor unit (no elevator) in 90+ degree heat...with zero complaints. They were careful with everything and were so personable. As they were finishing, the next crew to take the truck showed up and the owner of the company was among them. I love a company that has an involved owner...things get done right. Highly recommend them.

I spoke with Tony to coordinate the move. He called me back when he said he would and was pleasant on the phone. On moving day, the weather was in the nineties and humid. There was no A/C in the walk up to the fifth floor. There were four guys on the moving crew. I never heard a single complaint from any of the four about the steps. This was amazing - everybody complains about the steps, but not these guys. Anyway, the rest of the move was easy and they did a great job and were fun to be around. They treated my antiques gently and wrapped everything.

Tony was very pleasant to work with - when I called with concerns about being behind on packing after being sick he provide suggestions and ideas on how to work around the challenge - both he and his staff were very helpful and professional. Only concern was that after checking in with Tony on timing in the morning the movers were an hour later then he quoted.

One of the guys started off with, "relax, we're here to make this day a lot easier for you." That pretty much set the tone for the rest of the day. Everyone was very professional, courteous, and generally NICE. The project took significantly longer than originally anticipated, but that was my fault by due to gross underestimation of how much stuff had to be moved. With eight years of school, I've moved quite a few times, particularly in Chicago. This was by far the most involved move I'm ever been a part of, but it was also the smoothest! I would hire these guys again in a second.

It was easy for me. It seems very well planned on their part. Moving the things in order of how they will unpack at the new house and use the correct amount of people so there was no damage or injury. Dorsey was a great lead again. He kept me at ease talking through the project and general conversation while keeping a good pace for completion. They made sure that they put mats down in the new house so they didn't damage the floor. I would use them again. Once again it was very clear on the pricing for 4 people per hour plus 1/2 hour travel. So I was not surprised at payment time. Everything else is included (wardrobe boxes, picture boxes, wrapping, tape).

Every guy on the crew was very professional. They all seemed to work like they owned the business. They wrapped all of our items and nothing got broken. It took a little longer than we expected, so you should plan conservatively if you have tight timing. They had to bring an extra truck in to fit everything. But when they added up the invoice it was a actually less than the original estimate. I highly recommend this company.

The 3 man crew showed up on time and efficiently moved my home contents into the truck on the street and then into my new home. They had to disassemble and reassemble a few pieces of furniture and did so professionally. All items were wrapped in blankets and I have not found any broken, scratched or damaged furniture. I would hire them again.

Each time they were on time and his crew worked non stop and efficiently, but also with great care. They were most helpful at every step, blanket wrapping items with care and making sure everything went where it was supposed to go.

I loved working with this company. Tony was extremely responsive and accommodating, the crew was late on moving day but I'm still giving them an A because Tony called and let us know. They took great care in wrapping each piece of furniture, and were very friendly and personable. If there is any more moving in my future, I will be calling Tony and Under One Roof first.
