Mike was great. He was prompt, thorough and professional. I felt he was extremely knowledgeable about the market and our neighborhood. He had some good recommendations for our house and good advice about the housing market. The information packet he provided a few days after the appraisal visit was extensive and insightful. We definitely see him as a valuable partner regarding any future real estate decisions we make.

Called Mike and left him a message on Friday. Called me back within a few minutes. Scheduled an appointment on my first available day which was a Sunday ( super convenient) . Was there on time. very professional and he made the report within 24 hours for a small rush fee which was awesome. I needed an estate appraisal.

Mike was amazing to work with. The appointment was made quickly, he showed up exactly on time and got right to work. He was very familiar with our neighborhood and our property types. He spent quite a bit of time educating me on the process and how it works, and he was happy to answer all my questions. He took into account all items, comparable properties, our rental income and a very detailed inspection of the property itself. The final report was emailed to me in a very timely fashion. It was extremely professional, detailed and exactly what I had hoped to receive. I would call him again and would highly recommend him.

Came 20 minutes earlier than the appointment and walked around the property to a**** the value. So when i arrived he actually have started the work. With friendly conversation he explained what is the procedure. I have experience with other appraisers and they didn't even measure the dimension of the condo that was for appraisal. This was my first impression that stayed -- good job. He finds small details that you haven't noticed about your property that will help the value to be propperly evaluated. I asked him about improvements that can be done on the property before it went on the market . I received some guiding points which were very good. The report came on the assigned date. My wife was handling an estate for a family member in Brookfield, IL and we needed an appraisal for the estate paperwork. Scheduling Mike to visit the home was simple. He was easy to get a hold of and was very flexible in his availability as he was able to make it out on a snowy Saturday. He made a difficult task much easier. He was able to provide appraisals for the Date of Death and current house value. The house recently sold and the current value appraisal was spot on. Mike was prompt in returning phone call and booking appointment to meet at my home. Mike listened to my requirements and completed an analysis of the interior and exterior of my home including pictures, drawings and measurements. It went very well. Mike was there promptly on time to perform the appraisal. He pointed out all of the positives and negatives about the house, giving me a good idea of how much I should pay for the property. He then went over all of the comps in the area in terms of purchase and in terms of rental so I would know how much to rent it for. After the appraisal was complete, he has indicated he will give me advice in the future as I move towards the rental of the property. Mike was absolutely terrific! He took a very complex property and helped me assess its value in multiple different ways, sale, rental, division of the property into separate units. He really went the extra mile for me. I needed a quick turnaround and he was able to come to the property that same day. He provided loads of helpful advice and insight. I am looking to sell my property without a realtor because I have found in the past that realtors provide very little value for their exorbitant commission. Realtors claim to be able to tell you the market price for your property, but in my experience, most are just guessing based on pulling a few properties from the MLS that anyone with an internet connection can do. Mike provided a thorough appraisal with tons of detail so that I really had all the facts in front of me when deciding how to price my property. Mike arrived early and was already on top of everything before I got to the house. He provided a lot of helpful insight and suggestions. He took the time to answer my questions and made me feel confident with the decision going forward with the property.

Mike is fantastic! We needed an appraisal and some advice for our planned FSBO listing. Mike accommodated our work schedules by coming on a weekend and was a half hour early (which is unheard of). And in a few hours he gave us the comparables and his estimate of what we should offer. All at no charge! With Mike's information we felt confident to go into negotiations.
