Johann was very responsive to my request for an estimate. The work was performed the next week and turned out beautifully. He worked ten hours straight to complete the job before a party I was having that weekend. He is a consummate professional and left my kitchen in perfect order. I would highly recommend Tigele Tile for any tile related project!

Johann responded quickly to our initial phone call and came in a few days to assess the job. He provided a detailed estimate and a very through contract. He was very easy to reach throughout the project whenever we had any questions. Johann and his crew did a great job. They were punctual and completed the job in 9 days. They did a awesome job protecting built-ins that could not be removed from the area. They kept the halls of our building clean and free of construction dirt. The new flooring they installed looks perfect. We couldn't happier with the results. We are going to use him again to do several small projects around the rest of our condo. We highly recommend Tigele and Johann.

This is a perfect example of you get what you pay for. Johann was more expensive than other bids, but we knew he was top of the line and decided not to err on the "least costly" side like we often do. We were not disappointed. Johann worked his fanny off over many hours. The kitchen backsplash was not easy to install. But with careful measurements and expert work, it looks fabulous. We hadn't had out 7 or 8-year-old kitchen granite countertops polished since they were installed. They look almost new now, and we're delighted. We had had a leak around the base of the master shower that took its route through the kitchen ceiling below. After one tiler re sealed to stop the leak, Johann came in and re sealed and made that work look so much more finished. If you want top of the line work done by a true craftsman, then use Johann!

First, Johann was extremely responsive - replying within a couple of hours to my quote request, and always quickly responding to our questions thereafter. Second, he was extremely knowledgeable about his craft - we had some tricky, uneven spots in our basement that needed attending to prior to laying down tile, and he had several options for us on how to tackle that (other estimators said they were unsure and had to get their "guys" in to look at it, which would have cost us extra time in starting the project.) Johann immediately displayed attention to detail and it was clear he took pride in the work that he does. Mike, the actual tile installer, was just as attentive. His work ethic, and workmanship was top-notch. We had picked a long, plank tile that we wanted to lay out in a very specific hardwood floor pattern and he was able to do that to perfection. Mike was overall very punctual, and if he was running late (which happened once, and not more than 15 minutes) he gave me plenty of heads up via phone. Both Johann and Mike were punctual, extremely professional and very polite. The materials used were of high quality and the quote was reasonable. I couldn't be happier with the final results and would recommend this company in a heartbeat.

Found Tigele on Angie's list and read many of the great reviews. Called and made contact with Johann, he had me send pics of the area to be tiled, the tile type and size of tile to be installed. Shortly after I received a quote and a proposed installation date. Returned the signed quote by email and all went according to our agreement. Job looks great, many pieces needed cutting and they were fitted with precision. All lines straight, nothing looks weird or unprofessional. Very happy with the results and I would use them again.

He does really good work. he was prompt, he was on time. He instaled over time. On the last day he stayed up to 11pm in the night just to finish up the work. He is very precise, he makes everything nice and straight. It looks like it is something he loves to do.

Johann did a wonderful job. The tile we had selected was difficult to work with. but he took the time to do a great job. Because of the material, I know it took a lot longer to complete the job than it should have, but he went out of his way to make it turn out beautiful. I will be very happy to recommend him to anyone.

Johann was great to communicate with, fast response within 24 hours. The price was extremely competitive and on the lower side of the estimates received. His staff was courteous and hardworking and done in record time. project took 1 day to complete vs. 2 day estimates from other contractors. we are very happy with the work that was performed at a very fair price. Our home is 26 years old. We designed it and had it built, but our master bathroom was no longer in style nor as functional as we wanted. So we decided to revamp the 120 square foot "L" shaped master bath, replacing the oversize whirlpool tub with a single person tub and enlarging and enhancing the shower. All cabinets and plumbing fixtures were replaced as well. Since we expected to use a great deal of Travertine tile for the floor, shower and back splashes, etc., I searched Angie's list for top rated Tile installers that also did complete bath renovations. Tigele Tile and Mosaics was one of three contractors that I interviewed and received quotes from. Johann, president of Tigele and master tile layer, was very confident about the quality of his team's work, and was very competitive in his pricing. His estimate for the length of the job was 4-5 weeks depending on glass and granite fabrication timing. Johann provided several references when I requested them, all provided glowing reports on the work Tigele completed. We actually visited one of the homes to see his team's work first hand. The home owner was very candid, and shared that they were very pleased with the work and the results. After completing these steps with the other contractors, we were very confident that Tigele was right for us, and we launched the project with Johann. Given the fact that I had originally planned to do the whole job myself, I had complete CAD drawings and specifications at the start of the project. Johann's team executed each and every detail exactly to my specifications. In some cases I worked shoulder to shoulder with his team, especially in some areas where I have significant expertise, such as cabinet assembly and installation. The project was completed in 5 weeks and one day, with only one extra cost surprise, a sanitary vent turned out to be in a wall that was going to be removed, All materials were selected and purchased by me, except for the glass shower components and the floor heat mat. I believe that I was instrumental in keeping things on schedule, since the needed materials were all complete and on the job site ahead of schedule. Periodically I had to provide detailed explanation of the drawings and/or the specifications to members of Johann's team, but they were all very professional about our communications. Johann himself was extremely understanding and detailed oriented about delivering exactly what we wanted. Although my wife and I did significant preparation to protect our home from dust and damage, Johann's team did a great job of adding their own protection and were very mindful throughout the project to take care. We have a wonderful spa style master bath, and don't feel we would have achieved such success without Johann and his team.

He did a great job with the install and clean up. Only issue was the fact that Our appointment time was 8am, and after numerous phone calls, Finally got a hold of him , so job start wasn't until 1100 am. I would use Johann again though, work was well done.

Because of the sheen and the shape, the tile is somewhat unforgiving. Johann was meticulous about getting the alignment right. The tile looks gorgeous. Also, his measurement of the space was very precise. He cut and used tile very efficiently which ultimately saved me money.

Johann was very professional. I know it was expensive. However, it was a small job and every other person in the long list of granite people either refused to do this small job or would have charged even more. He was great. He cleaned up after himself. He measured precisely where the hole could go because of the limited space under the counter and drilled the hole for me. I am very happy with his work and I would definitelely hire him again.

Johann was great. Provided needed information and was very thorough. Work was outstanding - matched broken shower tiles and repaired crack in kitchen granite countertop. Also advised me that all tiles and granite should be treated which they did - very happy with the work!

This review is long overdue but I suppose better late than never! Johann and his team were incredible to work with! My kitchen was a true disaster, and I was definitely a bit overwhelmed going into this project since there was so much to do - so much! I met with at least 5 different contractors before deciding to move forward with Tigele, and once the decision was made I never looked back. Along with the fact that they had outstanding reviews, one of the main reasons I selected TIgele was because I appreciated the fact that Johann did not have the pushy salesman approach. He understood and respected that I had a set budget, and gave me the best kitchen possible given my spending level. My kitchen was probably a very small project for Tigele, but I never felt that way when I worked with Johann and team. I would use Tigele Tile & Mosaics any day of the week for future remodeling projects, and highly recommend them to anyone who's looking for an honest contractor offering quality workmanship.

The initial work was badly done by another contractor and every effort was made to rectify the other persons poor job.

Johann measured the backsplash area, gave me an estimate of his work. I showed him a sample of the tile I wanted to use, he told be how much tile I needed to purchase. After agreeing to the job, Johann gave me an estimate of the time he hoped to arrive and then called when he was on his way. He installed the backspace tiles in a short time, cleaned up and did a really great job.

I called Johann for an existimate for my shower base. I was explaining to him that I need it to have the old tiles removed from the base, check the plumbing and install new tiles. Joahann did not let me talk, he was rude and he stated I had to remove all the tiles from the shower walls as well without even seeing the bathroom. I decided not to call him as I found him extremily unpolite with me. Maybe this because I am a woman and he thought I did not understand what it needed to be done to my bathroom.

The craftsmanship is outstanding. The workers were courteous, efficient, meticulous, and obviously perfectionists who take great pride in their work..

Johann was great and his communication was also great. I picked up the ceramic tile from a local Menards and Johann showed up, asked what kind of pattern I wanted and got to work. He covered the floor and kitchen counter and cut the tiles in the driveway... when it started to rain I had him move the cutting to the garage. He did a beautiful job for the amount we had agreed on and cleaned up afterwards. No complaints... just compliments.

Johann was in contact promptly after my 1st email. He was out to look and quote me on my kitchen tile that I purchase earlier from Tile Outlet. I felt his price was very fair for about 3days around 8 hours of work. Originally was told a 2 day job, I know that Johann personally worked past his normall hours to get my kitchen finished and back in working order shortly. What I also liked about Johann is that what he said is what he did. I hate contractors that promise a date and time and then not stick to it, Johann lived up to his dates and times! I had tiffany glass mosaic tile installed which was more difficult to handle and hard to hide irregularities in the walls. Johann lived up to my expectations and I would recommend using his services in the future!
