Tigele did an amazing job on replacing the tile for my bathroom and kitchen floor. I have an old house that was built in the 20s and remodeled by an owner / DIY'r in the 90s. Everyone of my home reno/repair projects comes complete with a set of tricky circumstances and surprises, and this one was no exception - uneven floors, poorly installed floor tiles, wacky plumbing and a poorly constructed new bathroom vanity. Tigele handled it all with perfection. They brought a large crew on day one and had all the demo in the full bath and kitchen completed in one day. They went above and beyond to straighten out floors, walls, electric and plumbing so that the job would be done correctly. And the tile job was phenomenal. I picked a tricky, thin porcelain tile for the bath and they made it work. Very pleased with the finished product. The work effort involved to do this right is no joke. Johann and his crew worked tirelessly to get things right. It's messy, loud and requires patience on all sides, but Johann and his team are true professionals. They do quality work, stand by their work and I will definitely work with them again.

All of the elements under the responsibility of Johann went extremely well. I originally reached out to Tigele to get a quote for just the replacement of the tile and upon our first meeting we talked more about their capabilities and our goals in the renovation. Johann shared several references that I followed up on and I felt very comfortable with Johann taking on a much larger scope of the project and his prices were very competitive. Throughout the process more work was added and well managed. The entire project took 3 months to complete due to delays in some of the parts that were outside of their control but the bulk of the work was completed over three weeks. Johann and his team were excellent in giving recommendation and advice which we gladly accepted in many cases. The only shortcoming, and a very small one at that, would be to have a bit more handholding in the planning process and progress updates to make sure we have all of the right parts needed and right next steps understood. I'll `definitely hire them again and absolutely recommend their services.

Well - done in the promised time frame. On day one, one of the workers was 10 minutes early. May not seem like much, is an anomaly these days. Workers were respectful, clean, and all of them truly cared about doing a good job.

It went beautifully. Johann, the owner, is a technician and an artisan who takes great pride in his work. And it shows. The tile he installed for me is an "ogee" shaped ceramic, and because all pieces were not exactly the same size, it was a bit of a puzzle to make them all fit together uniformly. Johann worked diligently to make it all look perfect ... and it does, both in the kitchen and a bathroom. He also did a nice job sealing my granite kitchen counter. He's very professional and punctual, and I would recommend him and his company (Tigele) to anyone without hesitation.

Johann is a masterful craftsman. About 30 square feet installed in a day. The kitchen was left in spotless condition. My expectations were exceeded. He did a beautiful job. I would wholeheartedly recommend him and would call him if I ever needed more tile installed. He efficiently provided quote via email, and answered questions promptly. He had a last minute opening to do the job earlier than planned and let me know exactly when he would arrive. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do the job.

The installation of the glass tile backsplash required very intricate cuts around the cabinet moulding and he showed how skilled he is and the result was impressive. Johann texted and called me prior to arrival and was on time ready to work. He explained everything in detail and worked very methodically. His work was impeccable and he was friendly and professional. I have to say I have never seen a contractor so obsessed with cleanliness, he covered everything and was constantly gathering and sweeping. When he was done it was like he was never there. Very happy with the work done and would highly recommend.

I decided to call Tigele because of their excellent reviews, and not only here but elsewhere too. I very happy with the service I was given from the very beginning, expertise/quality workmanship and that was what I was mostly interested in from the very start.

Good all around. Job 1: I contacted Johann to get an estimate on installing a kitchen backsplash. He responded quickly with a few questions on the job as well as a request for pictures of the installation area. I provided those and was given a very competitive estimate to install the tile. The price he quoted included everything except the tile which meant that the only thing I had to worry about was picking out the tile and getting it home. I needed a professional opinion on the type of tile to install (glass vs stone) and Johann provided a recommendation based on his years of experience and his understanding of what I wanted to accomplish. Once the tile was selected, I sent him a picture of the tile so that he knew what he'd be working with. A few days later, he called to schedule my job and we agreed on a day/time that worked for us both. On installation day he looked over the installation area, we agreed on the grout color, and he asked about an old phone outlet that I wanted to get rid of (and he made that happen.) Then he got down to business. He finished when he said he would and I now have a beautiful backsplash. Job 2: While he was here for the backsplash installation I asked Johann to look at the caulk in the second bathroom. He inspected it and pointed out that there were additional issues with the grout in that shower. Both the caulk and the grout had failure points that would ultimately result in a leak. Since I don't use that shower, I was unaware but these were clearly visible when he pointed them out. He observed also that my kitchen granite needed to be sealed. I wasn't sure about having the kitchen granite done but since he was returning to correct the shower issues, I asked him to quote both. The price he quoted was more than fair, the work was scheduled for a few days later and both jobs were completed expertly. A+ for professionalism, honesty and skill...and he's a nice guy. As a side note, I just bought my condo and as I've reached out to contractors for a few jobs I've learned that some don't respond at all (even some on AL), some take a long time to respond, and few (like Johann) respond promptly--which I appreciate.

We are very happy with our experience with Tigele and Johann. I initially contacted Johann well over a year ago for an estimate - he responded quickly with an estimate and tile suggestions. It then took us about a year to figure out what we wanted and pull the trigger. When I contacted Johann again after a year he responded quickly with a new estimate and arranged for a date to get started on the work within a few days of contact. Johann arrived when he said he would and got down to work. We still had some questions on the best way to proceed, and he gave us professional advice based on his extensive experience. In the end, we are very glad we went with his suggestions. We had somewhat of a custom design with a diagonal pattern and cut outs. Johann did a beautiful job on the installation - we are thrilled with how it turned out. Another added bonus is that Johann had us return many of the supplies and extra tile that we had purchased, saving us about $400! Overall, I would recommend Tigele and if we ever get around to fixing our shower we will use Johann again. He is responsive, punctual, and I believe he takes great pride in his work and wants what is best for his customers.

I contacted Johann about a month prior, and scheduled a date for him to come and install a backsplash in my small (condo) kitchen. We exchanged e-mails, I sent him pictures, and signed a PDF estimate. I went and bought the tile myself at a local tile place. On day of, Johann arrived around 10:30am, and we quickly uncovered my idiot mistake. I completely did not see that I was responsible for providing BOTH tile and grout. He was unphased, and said he would lay all of the tile, and run to get it. He also offered to reseal my granite countertops, and took a few bucks off the normal cost. After about 2 hours of tile work, he left the tile to dry and went to get the grout. Approximately two hours later, he returned with the grout, and finished up at. around 5pm. He gave me some care instructions, I paid, and that was it. Definitely happy with the end result. It looks better than I thought it would, and I appreciate the detail that Johann paid. He did a great job, and some of the more challenging corners and areas of my kitchen look flawless.

I contacted Johann in 2014 for a kitchen backsplash quote and he did provide me a competitive quote. However, due to some circumstances we had to put the project on hold. Called him back early this year as we wanted to get going on the project. He was less responsive than before. when i called him he said he will not go lower on the price since I didnt get back to him last year. really do i need to tell you if I am putting the project on hold due to some personal reasons. I was not happy with his professional manners and that ticket me off. Due to his attitude we have decided not to go to him. He might be good but you don't remove some grudges if you really want to do the job. At the end of the day its the customers choice.

I started this tile job myself many months ago and working full time and trying to tile our master bathroom on weekends became overwhelming. I contacted seven or eight contractors to quote on finishing the tile job. A few declined the job so we ended up with four proposals. Tigele tile was not the least nor the most expensive, but Johann quoted quickly and their reviews were excellent. I am thrilled we chose Tigele Tile as they were able to start the job quickly and did a fantastic job. We have another bath that need new tile, this time I will not attempt to do this myself, I will call Johann and know the job will be done quickly and professionally. Our bathroom was tiled floor to ceiling with crema fill marble with a glass insert around the entire room. It turned out lovely!

Johann and team did a great job on my kitchen backsplash, and the space now has so much character. I ended up a few square feet shy of what was required and I couldn't leave work to get more. I told Johann where I bought it and he was kind enough to go get what was needed to finish the job that day. That was awesome and a relief. I will be using Tigele Tile again to re-tile a bathroom.

Overall went well. During the quote process, Johann was by far the most professional person I dealt with. I sent him a photo and some measurements and he wrote back with a full PDF quote that was very easy to understand - and everything was spelled out. The quote was a little higher than his competition, but I knew their work was highly rated, plus I liked his professionalism. We scheduled a time to do the work and his guy showed up on time and the completed job looks great. My only "complaints" were that I felt my place was not left as clean as it could have been and the installer dripped something from a bag as he was leaving through my kitchen and down my hardwood stairs. Secondly, Johann told me how much tile to get and based on that, I purchased about a box and a half more than was needed - and the tile was natural stone and thus could not be returned, so I have leftover tile and spent about 50 bucks more than necessary on it. Ultimately I am happy with the work and I would hire again.

The job went just fine, as expected with Tigele. Johann scheduled the work for a Friday and came back on Saturday for a few hours to finish up.

We are renting out our condo and needed what Johann calls a bathroom tuneup. The grout and caulking was in bad shape with mold that we and professional cleaners couldn't remove, plus it needed to be redone. He and his team did an amazing job. All the mold is gone and he re-did the caulk which really needed it. At some point we will try to sell the condo and will ask him back to redo the grout for the bathroom and kitchen tile flooring. They were professional and able to work around the fact that the bathroom walls had just been repainted, it's not a large bathroom so was also impressed they didn't smudge the new paint.
