Description of Work: The inspection was dead on in its analysis. The repairman was professional and informative. I would trust this company to do work for me. I didn't let them do the work because the warranty on the work was not long enough.

Description of Work: We had a broken washer,it would not drain. We had two appointments with The Fix It Guy |Visit 1 July 11(Diagnostic) - He came in on time and diagnosed our Samsung machine with a broken water pump. Unfortunately the part was not available, so we had to schedule a second appointment. |Visit 2 July 29(Repair) - The Fix It Guy told us the part we needed would take two weeks to arrive, so we scheduled accordingly. He very late to this appointment. Our appointment was between 5-6 and he did not show up until 7. He did call to say he was running late. Thankfully we didn't have any other plans, and his tardiness did not cause us any inconvenience.

Description of Work: The vender repaired a dryer vent. Excellent work. Would use again.

Description of Work: Based on neighborhood recommendations, I called when my washing machine conked out. After the first visit, they thought they could fix it, and just needed a part. When the part arrived, though, and after taking the machine largely apart, the problem was seen to be much larger. They gave great advice to replace rather than repair based on relative costs and probability of long-term appliance life once it had had a major breakdown, and I chose that option. After all of that time and effort, they still charged only the base visit fee, because they could not fix the washer. |I trusted their work, their assessment, and their honesty, and would use them again any time.

Description of Work: The repairman came out and looked at my garbage disposal and figured out what the issue was. It just needed to be re-set. He suggested I get a new one because the one I have is older, so when I do get the new one, I will contact them to have it replaced.

Description of Work: my 18 year old oven no longer worked. They fit me in quickly, arrived when schedules, had the replacement part with them and were done & gone in under an hour. Very professional

Description of Work: Repaired my oven and dryer. Neither one was functional. They both needed a part which he has in his truck.

Description of Work: He came promptly diagnosed the problem and had to return because he didn't have all tools. This could probably have been avoided but I have no complaints.

Description of Work: Our water heater was acting up. It would turn off on it's own and we wouldn't be able to get it back running for quite awhile. We were convinced we had to replace it and she'll out $$$. Robert came in and figured the problem (normal wear & tear), fixed it in 10 minutes and it has been trouble free since.

Description of Work: Came on extremely short notice, fixed the issue quickly without racking up the bill.

Description of Work: My dryer was making a terrible sound when it started. I called and he cam out and fixed it, but after a few days it started again. I called and they came again and a few days later the dryer was squealing again. On the third visit he brought a new part for the machine and it is find now. I would have given a lower rating b/c of the multiple visits, but I feel that he was really trying to save me some money so that I wouldn't have to buy the new part.

Description of Work: He fixed the fan in our refrigerator freezer which had broken and was no longer sending cool air to the lower part of the unit. Came a little later than appointment time due to traffic but not excessively late. Made a bit of a mess without giving me much of a heads up (water and ice defrosting and running into the bottom of the frig). But I was OK with cleaning it up. $250 verses new was worth it. I would recommend him and his service without hesitation.

Description of Work: Robert replaced the ice maker for our fridge. He also replaced the pump for the dishwasher. I don't remember the part that was replaced on the stove. The problem we were having with the stove was that one burner would not come on. A second burner had to be lit with a lighter most of the time, or it wouldn't come on. Every appliance is working well. We are happy.
