Very nice man but didnt specifically diagnose washing machine problem. He Listened to the machine and said it would be 500 to fix (he said it was probably the control panel). I asked him to atleast pull the panel on the back to confirm it wasnt a broken belt......which he did. I still dont know the exact problem since he didnt test the control panel or motor. He never tested anything else. Again he was very polite and pleasent.

Took less than 15 minutes for the techs to replace the rubber seal on our washing machine and they did a great job - even covering their shoes before coming into our condo. Would definitely hire again!

The service tech went out to my home and advised that the machine was very old and probably not worth fixing. I really appreciated his honesty and will absolutely hire them again. I know that this company is honest and will not make me pay for services that aren't needed. A+

Horace arrived on time and got right to work. Diagnosis included new parts. Returned 2 days later, installed the parts, and finished on time. Courteous and friendly guy too.

Only sent me an email that they do not do dishwashers, which was odd, because they came up when I searched for dishwasher repair.

On the recommendation of a neighbor, I contacted the Fix-It Guy last year about repairing my 1991 Maytag stacked washer-dryer, but I did not follow through because the problem was still intermittent and I didn't want to take a day off from work. When I got in touch again this year, they said that they could not work on such an old machine. I was disappointed, but they were honest. I did find another repair shop that still stocked parts, and the dryer was fixed.

My washing machine broke on the weekend and luckily Fix-it Guy was open! I called and easily scheduled an appointment for the next week, the day before Thanksgiving (very relieved they had some availability so quickly, on a holiday week no less). They were up front about their prices, $65 for the diagnosis plus a flat repair fee plus any additional for parts. They texted me the name and photo of the person who would be performing the estimate (Miguel M). I received a text when Miguel was on his way and he arrived within the window of time they scheduled. He was super friendly. Sadly, my washing machine repair would've cost more than a new washer, which he was up front about. This was a very quick, easy, and painless process and I will definitely call them again when needed!

Patric Z was very professional and punctual. My stove was working in no time. They also send you a text message to confirm your appointment when you book and then on the day of as a reminder along with a picture of the technician that will be arriving at your home. Would definitely hire again.

I called the Fix It Guy regarding a problem with my home dryer not getting hot.I spoke with Robert jr. and set up an appointment date.I was told by Robert jr. that Robert Sr. would be coming to my home to diagnose the problem.The day of the appointment Robert Sr. arrived and diagnosed the problem quickly.I was given a price for the repair to which i agreed upon and the repair was done quickly.I have used The Fix It Guy several times before and have always been pleased with the services provided.I have had both Robert Sr. and Robert Jr.at my home for different repairs and would definitely call them again.

We had a couple of igniters on our stove that had gone bad. These guys came out, diagnosed the issue and replaced them with new igniters. However, they outrageously overcharged us. In addition to a $65 service call and a $150 repair charge, they charged $122 per igniter. These specific model number parts are readily available online from Amazon and countless other sites for about $20. He told my wife that Viking overcharges for the part. The irony is that the part isn't even made by Viking- it was from Electrolux. So, he's either dishonest about the true cost of the part or really bad at comparison shopping. I absolutely cannot recommend this business. If you do use them, be sure to look up the cost of any parts before agreeing to anything. Otherwise, there's a good chance that you're going to be taken.

Repair service was prompt and responsive, they let us know when they were coming. However, it took 2 visits to complete the job as they did not have the part with them (I would think that a drain pump would be a standard part) and they charged $202 for first visit (diagnosis and part) and $110 for second visit (labor). The total of $312 seems far too expense.

Horace came out after another vendor, GoSmart (company ownership has transitioned) came out, charged nearly $200 and then the refrigerator was non-functioning again less than 24 hours. He knew within minutes what the problem was, ordered the parts, repaired and my food was cold again within a few days.

Excellent, arrived between 8-10am. Quick fix, Bobby and Jose were amazing. Definitely the easiest repair service visit I've ever had.

The Fix-It Guy was amazing! We live in a condo and have a stackable washer/dryer. We contacted multiple services to fix our dryer and no one else wanted the job. Bobby and Cesar were on time, professional and got the job done quickly! We will never use another service again. You won't be disappointed!

The overall process was great. Robert is a good communicator and has a great personality. His first step was to inspect the problem. Robert arrived on time, identified the problem, which replacement parts were needed, and he showed me where to order the parts online. I ordered the parts. When they arrived I scheduled to have Robert return to install them. An apprentice who Robert is training accompanied him on both visits. The apprentice even did the installation. I would use Robert again and recommend him to my friends. 1st visit cost: $65 parts cost: $154 2nd visit cost: $110 Total: $329

I called Robert and set up an appointment with Horace in a matter of minutes. Horace called me back and was at my house in twenty minutes. Horace was very professional. He diagnosed the problem in a matter quickly and gave me two options on how to fix the issue. I went with the more expensive options, replacing the part with a new one, and the washing machine was working great. Fix it guy has a 90 day warranty on any work with the machine, in case something else comes up and they will diagnose the issue for no additional charge.

It was super fast and easy. Bobby and his partner fixed it quickly and had the part with them. They were in and out in less than 30 minutes.

Bobby ran a diagnostic to assess the problem and ordered the new part. Then came back 2 weeks later to fix it. Everything went on schedule and was quick and easy.

Great! Robert was on time, agreed that the ice maker did indeed need to be replaced, and brought the correct new one. When I mentioned that it was the second time in 6 years it had to be replaced he started looking around the fridge. It has a filtered water feature that I never use as the water flow was so slow. He then asked where my water tank was, adjusted the pressure which now provides a normal flow of water and apparently because the pressure had been low it was causing the ice maker to fail. The Fix it Guy provided above and beyond good service and will be my go to company for all future appliance repairs.

If they tell you Robert Sr is coming, please, please say "No"! Robert Sr came to my home and instead of asking about my dryer problems, he played on his phone looking for pictures of his daughters to show me. When I asked him to look at the dryer, he said, seems fine to me, whats the problem??! I said it doesn't dry my clothes on the permanent press cycle and he said, "well turn it up". I guess I should shrink all of my clothes. He was very unprofessional. Save your time, money, and clothes. He knows nothing about dryers!!

The repair was very simple. A wire had come loose, so the repair was pretty pricey, but worth it to get the machine running again.
