Rodrigo was amazing! He explained everything he was doing, and answered all our questions. He was able to fix everything that we originally wanted him to. I also felt like he wasn’t trying to get me to fix unnecessary things. We will definitely use them again next time

It was a complicated job involving coordination with ComEd and replacement of old equipment. They were knowledgeable, timely and very efficient.

I choose T&D Electrical because of Marianne Ryan. She made the entire process easy, she always returned phone calls within hours and she is exceptionally wonderful to work with. I had at least 5 electricians performing the work and every single one if them were professional, knowledgeable and very respectful of my house. I was very impressed with the way they cleaned up after themselves, you could not tell they were even working in my home. They treated my hone with as if it were theirs. They encountered many problems with the rewiring. Each time they kept me apprised of the issue, what needed to be done and any additional costs. They were very accommodating, they worked around my schedule. The work was done 3 months ago and I recently called them with a question. They came to my house within 24 hours and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants the job a quality job done.

In the last few months, we've had various repairmen/installers called to the house. Rodrigo from T&D was the ONLY person to arrive on time! After having others tell me that they were coming at a certain time, text me a time of arrival but yet arrive hours later, I was shocked! to see Rodrigo at the time stated. Besides promptness, he did a great job on installation. 4 of the fixtures required crystals to be attached, which is a tedious job, but he didn't seem phased. The result was beautiful. I would definitely hire again.

Really a first rate job from beginning to end! Incredibly clear communication from first phone contact to completed job. As is lamentably frequent in an older house, Rodrigo encountered an unexpected “cosmetic” complication on the first switch, but took it in stride and solved the problem, making sure that I understood what it was and what the final result would be. I’m so pleased with the results and will certainly use this business in the future!

I used T&D to do upgrade our service last year and the job went well, so I reached out again this week to get some work done in the basement. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they had same day availability. Rodrigo was here on Thursday and Friday and did a great job.

Everything went well. Technician took a little longer to do the work than anticipated, but he was very thorough and did a good job.

We were thrilled that T & D Electrical was so accommodating of our limited schedule as well as the urgency of the situation and that Rodrigo came on such short notice (SAME DAY!) to access the situation of an outdoor light fixture that had stopped working. We were very concerned about leaving town the following day with this outside light being out. Rodrigo informed us the fixture was no longer working and installed a temporary light giving us peace of mind while we were away as well as some time to purchase a new fixture.

Fantastic! Eric was a pleasure to work with and explained exactly what he was doing and how our wiring worked. He did arrive later than planned due to a communication mix-up at a previous job, but both he and Marienne (in the office) were extremely apologetic and professional about the whole thing. No harm, no foul; these things happen. I think the price is pretty high, at least according to a quick Google search. Even so, I am 100% confident in their work, so they are tops on our list for our next electrical job.

Quickly diagnosed and resolved the issue

At the end of the service appointment I learned that nothing had been replaced and that the technician spent the entire hour troubleshooting , according to the tenant he appeared to be wasting time. At the end of the hour, he knocked on my door and checked a vanity in my unit. He then determined that it was a light bulb that was not working, he charged an additional $25 for seven minutes . I believe that he would have had enough time to check the issue in the other unit had he not wasted so much time in the other unit. In my opinion this added charge was excessive . He did not mention not having done anything other than testing the outlets and resetting the switch in the meter until I had already paid for the service.

Greg was detailed and thorough in his work, as well as seemingly working efficiently. He work was "clean" and of excellent quality.

The good experience we had started with the walk-through estimate done by Marcus, which was honest and informative and did not shield us from possible complications. Throughout the process, Marianne in the office was very responsive, helpful and good natured, even when we had to change the date of work. Greg and Doru who actually did the job were on time, very professional and pleasant, put up kindly with our two dogs, and did a first-rate job. They minimized the size of the holes that had to be made and protected the walls and the existing sconces. The chandelier looks great and works very well, and it has changed the room for the better. I thought it was a loose wire as one of the lights kept going out but it turned out that none of the ceiling lights in the kitchen were grounded. I am so grateful K & D discovered this. From the first contact with this company to the final cleanup by the 2 electricians everything went very smoothly. My electrician (sorry, not going to name him...he knows who he is and he books up quickly) was terrific as I'm sure all the techs are who are with K & D. It was a big job that took all day and they never stopped, never spent time on their phones, cleaned up as they went and were completely professional. Terrific company and I couldn't have been more pleased with the work.

The project went well - Rodrigo was extremely communicative and detailed any time he ran into issues that were slowing the project or would require additional work. As someone who doesn't understand electrical work whatsoever, I felt adequately communicated with and aware of the difficulties associated with installing the outlets with a brick wall behind the drywall. Rodrigo took the time to make sure it was done correctly.

Professional, sharp work done quickly and per specs. Price fair. Nice people. Definitely will use again.
