Very well. First I dealt with the office - they charge $100 for an in house call for an estimate, but if you want to you can send photographs and descriptions of the location of the panel and they can give you an estimate based on those. I did that and after I got their estimate, I had them come out for a further estimate for additional work. That $100 charge was then deducted from the final balance due. The owner came out to do that estimate and when I got the final paperwork, I chose them from among the three companies I had contacted for estimates. Their price was about $1,000-$1,200 lower than the other two. Their two electricians came out for two days and got 95% of the work done. After they disconnected the house from the Com Ed feed, they ran an extension cord from the feed up by the roof to our kitchen so that they could plug in the refrigerator and freezer while the power was out on the first day of work. Their work included getting the house up to code, which meant pipes had to be run from the back of the house all the way to the front crawl space to ground the house where the water pipe entered. This was an involved process, but they were able to do it without having to break through walls or ceilings to cut joists. The surge protector was added to the panel a few days later. The two workmen came right on time both days.

Marcus and his crew are amazing. I live in a condo building, and we were forced to jump one hoop after another. Marcus and the office made sure I had every scrap of documentation my building required, and that I had it as soon as I asked for it. Marcus completed a walkthrough before they started work, and made sure I knew what to expect. The techs who did the work (I believe Rodrigo and Eddie) were extremely professional, cleaned up post job, and showed me all the new bells and whistles. If any electrical work is ever needed in the future, T&D is where I will go

It was a two man crew who installed the new wiring. I have no comparisons on the price.

T&D Electrical has made four service calls - three times at my condo and once at my house. In all cases, they've provided exceptional service with reasonable pricing. An electrician named Rodrigo recently helped install several light fixtures and correct an installed ceiling fan - he was best in class. I highly recommend T&D Electrical.

The estimate and referral visit was thorough and accurate. I found it very easy to schedule the work and was very happy with the overall job and price. The workers did leave without checking in and I did need to have them come back and fix a few issues, however it was done within a day and the customer service was incredibly satisfactory.

Our service provider arrived early, finished the work quickly, and was professional and kind. Following the installation, he showed me the work was completed and tested it to show that it was functional. Great experience!

So called the effusive Marianne who promptly assigned Rodrigo to property where he immediately diagnosed and fixed problem with recommendations for future work to resolve a larger wiring issue for older building. Honest, dependable, and affordable.

Setting up an appointment was easy. Mr. Hernandez arrived and was able to restore power (a broken fuse) and deal with a fixture problem in just over an hour. He was prompt, pleasant, professional and very competent. I could not have had a better experience. And the price was more than fair. Plus, Mr. Hernandez was very nice to my dog.

Rodrigo at T&D Electrical was a total pro, and I will happily hire him again. Yesterday my HVAC contractor was on-site to install my new AC compressor, and they realized while they were there that the wiring they had wasn't long enough to reach from the electrical box on the side of the house to the compressor (there are several feet of deck under which the wiring had to stretch). I first called a previous electrician I had used, but they were unavailable for the next several days, and I really wanted someone to come out and do the wiring work as soon as possible. I called T&D because they already had stellar reviews on Angie's List. I can't remember the person's name in the office I spoke to, but she was incredibly friendly and supportive. I gave her all my info and an explanation of the work needed to be done and sheepishly asked if someone could come out that same day. I braced myself for her to say the equivalent of "Are you kidding me? No, we can't come out today." However, she pleasantly put me on hold, and a few minutes later came back on the line to tell me one of her guys, Rodrigo, had a cancellation and would be at my house in about 90 minutes. I couldn't believe it. Rodrigo arrived ten minutes early, and was very friendly and careful in the house. I showed him to the area where the work was to be done, and with very little explanation from me, he knew exactly what he needed to do and was off to work. He built/constructed custom curved conduit for the three wires to run from the side of the electrical box up to the floor joists of my deck and back down to the power on the compressor. It looks perfect. The whole project took around an hour, and he was gone almost as quickly as he arrived. He and I settled up, he swiped my credit card, and left an invoice/receipt (which I appreciated...the previous electrician I used on a separate job did not ever send me a receipt, even after multiple inquiries).

Work was done professionally and on time.

Rodrigo came on time and did a nice job. Also took the time to explain Chicago electrical code to both my wife and I as we tend to get a little curious.

Rodrigo and Eddyn were incredibly thorough and careful in measuring and installing the new lights. They arrived precisely on time, took the time they needed to complete the job, and did incredibly high quality work. They were very careful not to make unnecessary holes in my ceiling and did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves. I intend to request both of them back the next time I hire T&D.

They performed all of the work in a timely and professional matter. Only surprise was some extra charges for work that went to a second day.

They were absolutely wonderful. I am planning on hiring them, I am not there in my construction yet. They are easy to communicate with. They explain everything. Their estimates are extremely detailed and they tell you if you don’t need to do something that you think you might need to do. They don’t let you spend money that you don’t need to spend.

Rodrigo Hernandez was prompt and very professional. He not only fixed the problems but also advised me of other hazards due to the faulty installation of a garbage disposal by another company. I wouldn't have known about this problem, which I need to have a plumber address, if Rodrigo hadn't informed me. He also let me know that several fire alarms I had installed by another company were not up to standard and that due to the setup, they actually presented a dangerous situation. I will have him come back to address this problem by installing new alarms. I will definitely use T&D and Rodrigo again.

Rodriguez, calls 30-mins. before arriving and within the 2-hour window provided when scheduling appointment. Showed-up, removed his shoes. We discussed the issue(s) he spent 20-30 minutes investigation problem then offers two solution option. Installed 3 new pendents I had purchased as a back-up. Bathroom was spotless when he left. Great service!!

Great- 2 man team came to replace a light fixture-they were punctual, friendly, worked within the estimated timeframe I was given, cleaned up after I repeated said not to worry about cleaning up. and the cost was exactly what I was quoted. Would go with the group again without hesitation.

Taking down a chandelier right before selling my place, i blew the track the light was on. it was the day of closing, i called marcus, he had someone come out that day, and everything was fixed quickly and smoothly. they were quick, easy going, and got the job done

Fantastic work. Rodrigo Hernandez showed up on the same day ( Day we won the World Series -- Go Cubs Go) and was fantastic. I could not believe they saw me on the same day that needed them. Our light works great now. If I have any further electrical issues I know who to call.

It did NOT go. Marcus came out, talked a bunch. Accepted my $100 check, which was meant as a deposit against the work. Cashed my $100 check. Never provided an estimate. Failed to respond to repeated e-mails and phone calls. This is a scam.

Work was done well and promptly. However, service provider created a terrible mess and did not clean up. Additionally, although the outlet was installed on the dedicated circuit as requested, the electrician left a large hole in the wall where conduit went (a small one would have done) and failed to cover the installed plug with a finished looking plate. It was functional and safe, but electrician left ragged drywall surrounding the new plug. When I have something installed I generally expect an attempt to be made to provide a finished look.

Excellent service! We were having some wiring issues with our a/c unit, so we contacted T&D. Our technician was Rodrigo, and he was fantastic! He was able to quickly diagnosis the problem and setup a plan to resolve the issues. He was very through and explained every step along the way. I was very impressed by the service we received. We will only be using T&D for any future electrical issues.
