 + 0 moreDavid was prompt, courteous, and explained everything he was doing. He presented me several options and I chose the one that fit my budget. I appreciated that he did not try to push me into products or services that I didn't need or could not afford. The rewire of the junction and hanging of the new fixture took approximately 1.5 hrs and the best part is that I'm confident that there will be no issue with fires because of the cloth wires. I've attached a before and an after picture. I am pleased as punch with the work and the outcome of the project.
Description of Work: I had a light fixture I wanted hung in my hallway. I took the old one down to find old cloth wiring and some charring that was beyond my DIY skill level.

 + -1 moreBelieved the heater's thermostat was the issued and tried to replace without success following existing wiring. Then i noticed breaker, when push ever slightly toward On, would trip. So I called the professionals who had done a previous bang up job on installing a wall outlet for a above the range microwave. David R listen to my opinion, analyzed the issue, and realize the breaker needed to be replaced. Work completed in a timely professional manner for what I feel was a fair cost. When Com Ed came to inspect prior to the service upgrade they were very pleased with the quality and manner that the work was performed. The new service install went very smoothly. I will definitely use T & D again and have already recommended them to others.

 + -1 moreT&D was super easy to schedule. You can communicate solely over email, which I love, especially when I'm at work and don't want everyone hearing everything. They wrote back within the half hour and went over everything. We scheduled an appointment for the following week. I asked for the tech to call before he arrived since we hadn't moved into the condo yet. He called and came right within the two hour window. My boyfriend met him and said he was very nice. It ended up being a minor issue, which was fixed and he also replaced some outlet covers, got something out of the garbage disposal, and other minor work. Although I wasn't there, I was happy he went through the whole condo to make sure there weren't any larger issues.
Description of Work: I just bought my first condo and was having issues with a couple of the lights. One light wouldn't turn on and on another the dimmer sometimes wouldn't shut off all the way.

Rodrigo came to my house and checked every single outlet and the fuse box at Etc. for a small fee he told me what the long-term fix is but gave me a complete power back that day. He was adorable .

Work was completed in one day, clean up was superb and most importantly the quality of the work was superior. Follow up from Marcus and the Office Team was great. Price was very reasonable compared to other companies, in several cases much better than others. Would highly recommend the Team from T&D Electrical. They will be my go-to company for any future electrical needs.

 + 1 moreAfter all was done, Marianne followed up to make sure the work was finished and if there were any other issues. A few things came up, and Rodrigo came back to fix them with no other issues. They are incredibly responsive and want to truly make sure it is a job well done. If anything is needed in the future, I will most definitely use T & D Electrical as well as recommend them to anyone needing any electrical work done.
Description of Work: This review is long overdue. I have used T & D Electrical for my condo building work as well as for work in my own condo. I would not ever call or have anyone else other than them to do any electrical work. Rodrigo did the majority of the work in my condo and building and he is phenomenal. Marianne in the front office is always spot on and very responsive and incredibly helpful. Marcus, the owner, is very involved as well and I can tell this company is one that really cares about quality and making sure everything is done correctly and what one is expecting. I had a lot of fixtures from ceiling fans moved to different rooms, new ones purchased, recessed lighting changed out, under cabinet lighting installed, outlets fixed, track lighting installed, dimmers fixed/installed and various other trouble shooting items and fixes done. I had a lot of construction done in my condo, and some items had to be done at various points in time during that construction, and T & D were very flexible and able to send Rodrigo and one time David, out to make sure all progressed as it needed to be. They helped us order many fixtures from a lighting store they work with, and held on to them while I was having all the work done then delivered them to my home when they were called back when construction was done. Rodrigo put in a 12 hour day in my condo at one point to make sure everything was done well and correctly. He has great skill and I can tell he really enjoys what he does. He more than happily answered all the questions I had while he was working and showed genuine care about making sure everything was done how I wanted and correctly.
