We have a number of honeycomb shades and a Hunter Douglas blind that are 13 years old and we were thinking of replacing them when we heard about Swifty Blind Cleaning. We just had them cleaned this week and they look brand new. Dustin came out to the house and removed them in the morning, and returned them in the afternoon. I was skeptical about the results but coudn't be happier. Instead of paying for new window treatments, we saved hundreds of dollars. The next day I was having trouble raising one of the blinds and called Swifty about it. Dustin came out again to check it , and it turned out I wasn't working them properly. They are a great small business with excellent customer service and do great work with a great attitude. It's really rewarding to give your business to people that appreciate it and go the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied.

They did a great job. They fixed 1 of our blinds, and cleaned 4 of them----very reasonably priced, on time, and took care of everything. Use them if you need blinds cleaned/fixed as they are as good and a lot less than other services.

Swifty IS swifty, price and quality are great!

These guys are awesome. They came through, took down the blinds fast and at the end of the day, came back, and put in sparkling look-like-new blinds. I don't know how they got them so clean. These blinds had not been cleaned - thoroughly - in probably a decade. But no muss, no fuss. They did what they said they were going to do, with no hassle. Dustin from the company was a true professional. The blinds look great, as do the rooms they are in. A great service, definitely worth the price.

I dropped off the blinds on Friday morning and they were done the same day. They did a great job. Friendly folks.

They did an excellent job. They came out in the morning, took the blinds down themselves & came back the same afternoon & reinstalled them after cleaning. Originally the blinds looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years & when they brought them back they looked wonderful. They were very professional & everything was done very well. They were very punctual - arriving within 5 minutes of when they said they would for pick & even 15 minutes early for the return delivery! I would highly recommend them.

They did an excellent job of cleaning some my crystal pleated shades in ONE DAY. Great price, nice people, great service.

Swifty appears to be a small, family owned business. There is no fleet of trucks and corps of service people. Thus, it was sometimes a bit difficult to get in contact, to get status updates, etc. Nonetheless, patience was amply rewarded. The work performed was excellent, and the repair cost seemed to be quite reasonable. Appointments were honored almost to the minute. The large new window shade appeared to be a bit expensive. Nonetheless, it was clearly a very high quality, custom-made shade, and I suspect that the cost and quality of such shades has gone up a bit since I purchased my last shade ~ 30 years ago! :) I would gladly use Swifty again if the occasion/need arose.

We were moving into a condo with vertical blinds that needed cleaning. I researched Angie's list and liked the reviews for Swifty Blind Cleaning and one other company. The other company seemed less than professional over the phone. Swifty, on the other hand, responded quickly and were very helpful on the phone. We scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Dustin came to the condo, measured and gave the estimate. He said that, when they do the cleaning, they pick up the blinds in the morning and return them the same afternoon. We were not yet living in the condo, so he was admitted through the receiving room. We met him when he returned in the afternoon. His work was thorough and efficient. We were very happy with the work he had done. That work was done in May 2012.After moving in, and placing furniture, we realized we wanted the blind pull on the opposite side from where it was. We made an appointment for Dustin to return and reverse the blinds. He came out the same week, June 29th, 2012. It took him about 20 minutes to reverse the blind pulls. He explained how we could do it ourselves, but It would have taken us all day to do the same thing. Dustin was also very good and coordinating the appointments. If he was running late (or early) he called to let me know. On the second visit, he would have arrived early which would have conflicted with some work an electrician was doing, so he rearranged his schedule to accommodate us. Through the entire process he was always professional and polite. I would recommend Swifty without hesitation. They are a family owned company and seem very honest and professional.

Arrived promptly and carefully removed blinds from windows. Returned cleaned blinds and repaired blind later the same day. Were polite and professional. Blinds are definitely cleaner. Reinstalled blinds at windows. It is cheaper if you remove the blinds yourself and bring them in to the shop. However, I didn't want to do that since one blind was large and broken.

We've found that it is difficult to find companies that clean pleated shades. Our only experience with this was a number of years ago and we were dissatisfied. We signed up on Angie's List and the first search we performed was for companies that clean blinds and shades. The service was prompt, friendly and professional. We would definitely use this Swifty Blinds again!

Great. I phoned for an appointment and was able to set up a service call the same week. I already had the cord sent to me by Hunter-Douglas which Swifty's restrung. I also had one plastic anchor which was replaced. However, I needed another anchor. Rather than install one that didn't match the others, the repairman offered to try to locate it and come back. He was able to find/order a match and returned about a week later to install it. I was impressed. This was not a big job, but I liked the attention to detail & I was not charged for the 2nd visit. I then asked if they serviced the suburbs as we needed a repair in our rental. Swifty's drove out to Highland Park, tried to fix the broken shade (it was stuck in the raised position from the bottom up as the cord was jammed inside the metal housing) sent it out to the manufacturer for repair when it was determined it needed a replacement part (the shade was too old and the part was no longer available), drove the shade back to HP and hung it AND managed to untangle the cord to lower the shade, so we'd have some privacy. The upper portion of the shade could still be raised and lowered for light. Hunter-Douglas did not charge for examining the shade and Swifty's only charged for a service call. This is a very responsive, knowledgable business with reasonably priced services. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had some honeycomb, room darkening shades that I had repaired over the Christmas holiday. They desperately needed cleaning. I looked on Angie's List and here, and decided to go with Swifty . I dropped my blinds off (they do have a pickup service), since they were already down & I was out running errands. I was told that due to the type of shade I had, the room darkening material may come loose during cleaning and may cause the shades themselves to bubble. That was the chance I was willing to take, since they hadn't been cleaned in a few years. I also needed 4 silhouette blinds and 2 wooden blinds cleaned. I was told that they could bring the first pair of shades back when they came to pick up the others. Since I couldn't get an appointment for 2 weeks (due to my work schedule and the fact that they only book one appointment a day to ensure that you get your blinds back the same day), I picked up my shades and rehung them myself. They look just fine...no bubbling, no separation.Fast forward to today...My appointment was for 9:00. The young man (sorry, I should have asked for your name), showed up around 9:15. He had my shades down and wrapped up in 20 minutes. Since I had to work until 4, he said he'd be back around 4:30. He showed up around 4:50. He quickly got to work, rehanging everything. Now my wooden shades were really filthy, with quite a bit of dust. Not anymore. I'm going to have to make a mental note to use a swifter every month to keep them looking this good. The silhouettes, which are white (don't ever get white shear shades!!), look brand new. There's no funky chemical smell, and no yellowish discoloration. When the room darkening shades were originally installed, unbeknown to me, the person who installed them didn't connect the brackets to the wall properly. As a result, when you pull on them, there's a little bit of a give. I had the service technician take a look. He didn't have the proper screws, so he's offered to come back next week to fix the problem. Total bill for 8 blinds/shades...$218, which considering the fact that they did it in 1 day, I find reasonable. Bottom line, I will use Swifty Blind Cleaning again and recommend them to anyone looking for a blind cleaning service.

Swifty replied promptly to our request for information on the service and a quotation. Were very responsive to additional communication as well. They did the job on time and exactly as requested. Did an excellent cleaning job. The most critical member of our household said of our 15 year old blinds after cleaning by Swifty, "they look like new!" Would definitely recommend Swifty Blinds to anyone looking for the services they provide.

I emailed Swifty and got an estimate over the phone. I decided to go with the pick up and drop off service. An appointment was made for a week later. The serviceman came on time and took all the blinds back to the shop. I had saved 7 of the missing wands, so he was able to reuse them. He came back in the afternoon to rehang them, a little later than he had thought. The blinds look great and they work just fine. Unfortunately, on the way over, 2 of the tilt mechanism that weren't replaced broke. He didn't have the parts with him, so he promised to call next week and come back to fix them. I couldn't ask for a better experience. It was worth the cost not to have to replace the blinds.

Very easy to set up an appointment. They showed up when they said they would and the price quoted to me over the phone was what I paid.

Our kitchen blinds had not been cleaned in over 10 years. They were custom measured & installed 20+ years ago. I was debating whether to have them professionally cleaned or buy new. I called Swifty Blinds & explained my problem. The woman who answered the phone was very friendly, knowledgeable & suggested I bring one in to have them clean it & see what I think (Cost $10.50). That's exactly what I did. I brought in one blind & came back the next day ( I had the other three in my trunk to have them cleaned if I liked the result.). It looked great! (Not new, not perfect... no one can perform that feat after 20+ years in a kitchen... but pretty darn good!) I had the other three done. They were ready the next day. The total cost was $ 42.00. That's significantly less than the cost of replacing them which I estimated would be $300 - $400 or more. The average blind size was 27 inches wide. One day service, exceptional. Cost, very very reasonable & the blinds look really good! I will use Swifty Blinds again & have no hesitation recommending them to others.

They went out of their way to get brackets that were no longer available. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They are just very accommodating people.

Swifty arrived right on time at 9am to remove my blinds and brought them back that afternoon as promised. They're so clean, they look like new. I will definitely use them again the next time I need to clean the blinds.

The guy arrived on time took down the blinds. He said he'd be back six hours later. He returned as promised with like-new blinds that hadn't been cleaned in over three years. They were flawless. He then hung them up again. I will use this company again and again.

Swifty arrived at 9 am to pick up my blinds. This was about 10 days after our original call (they are busy due to the winter holidays). They promised to return around 3 pm, but did not arrive. After two phone calls, the blinds were returned around 5:30 pm. Apparently the company was busy on a big job in the big city! The process was pain free, except for the delay in return. According to Swifty, the blinds were not that dirty but I'm happy to have it done.

Great service. It is a family operation The mothers runs the business, the father cleaned windows and the sons were responsible for the blinds.

My appointment was for 9 am. At 9:10 he pulled in my driveway. I showed Dustin the 2 pair of Luminette-type blinds I wanted cleaned and he took them down and out to the van. He was back with my clean blinds a little after 4:00. Dustin and his brother put the blinds up and they look great! Dustin is a very nice person to do business with. I'm a very happy customer.
