Everything went really well. This is especially true given the number of home owners seeking roofing services as a result of high winds and the damage it caused during this period. I was really concerned about a timely response to my scheduling request because it was supposed to snow later in the week. The company sent workers out the next day to make repairs - replacing shingles and inspecting roof. They were prompt, professional and cleaned up after completing repairs. I have used Reid Roofing in the past when I purchased a Spring Roofing Maintenance Package and intend to stick with them in the future. They are extremely easy to work with and really tried to accommodate my needs.

Kevin is great. This is a wonderful company with great pricing. They come out very quickly and they do not over price at all. They do not up sell you and fix what needs to be fixed. They are an A+ company that is family owned and I have been using them for years now. They are very friendly and I would highly recommend this company.

Just fine. I will find out for certain when the stormy weather comes and I DON'T see water running down my kitchen walls! I am certain they did the job very well as they came highly recommended. Also, as in the "responsiveness" rating- they are scheduled into next year- I suspect that that is why it took a month for them to come out! They are a family run business and are very personable as well, easy to discuss problems and have them explain the process of repairs simply for me to understand!

Carlos and crew from Reid Roofing did a great job. Arrived on time and within the hour the old roof was off. They quickly replaced broken roof boards including a few we didn't know were damaged (tree fell on it) and set to roofing. Picked out a very close matching shingle and were done by the end of day. Cleaned up EVERYTHING, hauled away all trash and restored the backyard to original state. Even cleaned the gutters on the portion of the roof they were not working on! Kevin and Andy from Reid came to quote on re-roofing our single family home after we were experiencing significant water ingress from a roof replaced just 7 years ago. They identified shortcomings in the roof design, replaced the roof itself and installed additional components to avoid the condensation that had resulted in a great deal of joist damage. They were punctual, professional and helped us every bit of the way to understand what was wrong and why and what was required to resolve the situation not just for a year or two but to have a long lasting roof. I'd strongly recommend Reid Roofing and having dealt with three other companies over the years I believe they do an outstanding job.

I got three estimates for the job and theirs was the lowest. The company provided an estimate in a timely manner and was very responsive to followup questions. I decided that the type of asphalt shingle they work with is not my preference so I did not hire them to do the job.

It went real well. They showed up 45 minutes early on Tuesday, August 4th,and started immediately to tear off the old roof over the front part of my 2 flat. At 10 AM that day, the truck crane showed up to lift the supplies and machine used to blow in the insulation under the roof. I DID NOT KNOW THAT WHEN MY 2 FLAT WAS BUILT, IN 1920'S, NO INSULATION WAS PUT UNDER THE ROOF. MY HEATING BILLS HAVE BEEN REALLY HIGH! It took two days to removed the old roofs and cart the debris away. They filled up their truck twice with the amount of debris they got down from the old roof. At the end of each night, they removed all of the debris and made sure that I had a water tight roof, in case it rained (it didn't). They spent the third day installing the new roof, after blowing in insulation under the existing roof structure. I now have a R36 insulation and am expecting significantly lower heating bills. On the fourth day, Friday August 7th, only one guy came, to paint the roof white, which is now code. He also assisted the truck crane operator to take the insulation machine and various tools away, using a 55 foot crane. I also have to thank my neighbors who were very patient and allowed me to use their parking lot for the crane and debris truck. This is not the first time I've used Reid Roofing and I'm very satisfied with their work and know that their price is substantially less than that quote by other roofers. For the first project they did for me, other bids were 20% to 800& higher. In fact, they even did one job for me for nothing, i.e., install a turbine vent in the roof over my back stairwell.

I would definitely use Reid Roofing again and would recommend them to others. I received very good work and fair price. Reid roofing did an outstanding job with the work on home. They removed the old roof and installed a new modified bitumen rubber roof on both my back porch and over the bay window. The workers were courteous, considerate of our garden and grounds, cleaned up well, did really good work on the roof and where the roof met the aluminum siding. I couldn't be happier. Where I had struggles with the communication I received from the scheduler. In June 2015, it rained a lot. This made it very hard for roofers and I understood that. However, twice my job was scheduled and no one showed up. I had to call the office and that is when I was told my job had to be rescheduled because rain delays had gotten the company behind schedule. I understand this, but they should be one calling me. Also during the process, it was me calling them to get things scheduled, or to remind them there was unfinished work.

It went well. No leaks...no problems. I will use them when I could afford a new roof.

The process went very well. The group came on time, finished on time and cleaned up very well as promised.

The estimators came out to give us an estimate. The workers were there every morning around 7:30 - 8:00 unless weather didn't cooperate. They were very friendly and professional and cleaned up the area. When work was finished they came out for an inspection, noticed a couple things and workers were out the next day or two to fix issue.

I had a good experience. It was a good price. They said they were going to do the roof in three days and they did. I needed them to fix the gutter because there’s a hole in the gutter, they didn’t come right away. They came right away to do the roof. That was one thing.

There was a lack of professionalism. I had to call twice to get them to come out to do the assessment and then after that I had to follow up on getting a proposal. I felt like I had to drag them through the process. Whenever I called to get a date for the repairs they never gave me a date and kept saying they had me in the books. Overall, poor professionalism and no follow through on their own.

Everything went good. They were punctual and efficient. This was a high third floor they had to work on and they did a good job on the high ladder! The price was good as well.

They promised it would be done in 3 days and it was. The older gentleman I spoke with was very nice and they even fixed a gutter for me.

Great experience with Reid Roofing. I'm happy to say that we are now leak-free, and I'm confident enough that I am now have scheduled repair and repainting of the damage from the months of leaking.

Reid responded immediately and provided an estimate of repairs that were needed as opposed to just trying to re-do the whole roof which did not need to happen and which another roofer was trying to sell us. The work was done in a timely manner with care and no damage any landscaping. Cleaned up well afterwards. Excellent job.

They were very professional - cleaned up and removed all debris. Miss one spot, called and they came back the next day to fix it.

Scheduling an appointment for the roof maintenance package was fairly easy, and the person sent out to do the maintenance and estimate arrived on time. The person definitely did the minor maintenance outlined in the package deal, as we can see where fresh caulk was applied to certain areas of flashing. The problem, though, is that we never received the promised estimate regarding what shape our roof is in, and what needs to be addressed. I called about a week after to follow up, but I never heard back from Reid, and, multiple weeks later, I have never received the written estimate promised as part of the package.

Kevin came out to look at the roof. I live in a townhouse complex, but I'm responsible for my section of the roof. He did a quick check around and said there wasn't much that he could do so he said he would refund my Big Deal payment. He was great. I recommended him to friend and he did some work for them and they were pleased too.

As I stated previously, Jeff did not want to tackle the Mansard roof but did provide an alternate roofer that may be able to do the job. He checked for leaks that he may be able to address to give us time to get estimates for the repair. He caulked some areas of concern and we have contacted the other roofer. He suggested that we contact Tans quality roofers, also on Angie's List, and we have responded to his email as requested.

Following the usual consideration of three proposals for this project, I selected Reid Roofing not only based on price but their prompt reply to my request for an estimate, along with their hands on approach, examination and understanding of the project. The crew showed up promptly and completed the job as promised. The workers were very efficient and pleasant to work with. In a job like this, there are always a few unforeseen complications and these were handled promptly and without hassle. Kevin Ratliff, the son of the owner, was our contact throughout the project and was always available to see the job through as issues arose. It was a pleasure dealing with this company. Now everything will be perfect as long as the roof doesn't leak for many years.
