It was a pleasure working with Reid Roofing and their team. From start to finish they were professional, arrived at the job site on-time, completed the project on-schedule and at the price quoted. We worked with Andy, Kevin and Sergio. They were always responsive to any phone calls or emails and were great to work with. We would use Reid Roofing again and highly recommend their services.

When I called to report leaks, they never came back.

I called for an estimate 5-16-17 & scheduled an appointment for 5-30-17. Reid came out & gave us photos of various problem spots. Reid sent an estimate for a roof and for tuckpointing. The condo association decided to start with tuckpointing only. I called 6-27-17 to schedule the work to be done. I called again July 5 and was told the work could be done August 1. Received a call July 31 that masonry crew would be here Aug. 2 or 3. I called 8-5-17 & was told crew would start August 7. The crew started August 7 and finished August 8. I was not told they were working two days & left my window open--cement dust covered everything in the living room. I downgraded the punctuality & responsiveness only because I was told twice they would call back & when they didn't, I had to call them. When we did talk everyone was very pleasant.

The estimate that they provided to me in the end was not as complete as the estimate from the company I ended up choosing. We didn't have an appointment. They just came by while I wasn't home and looked at the roof.

Reid Roofing offers a high level of experience, professionalism and customer service without overdoing the marketing end of things, or trying to sell you on extras. Their bid was very competitive and included a gutter replacement (this was an extra on all the other bids I received). They managed to schedule my job earlier than expected. The crew was punctual and did a good job cleaning up when they were done. The job was managed by Kevin, who did an excellent job on the communication end of things. Lastly, before the job began I had mentioned a problem with water coming in my top unit's front windows, not knowing for sure if this was a result of the old roof or something else. After the new roof was put on, the issue continued. Kevin came over to have a look, and despite the fact that this was pretty clearly a separate issue with the masonry and limestone, not the roof, he sent his tuckpointing guy over to seal things up at no extra cost. In his words: if you just paid for a new roof, we don't want you to have any leaking. That was truly going above and beyond, and was much appreciated.

Great experience. Kevin from Reid visited my house and listened carefully to me before checking my roof carefully and giving me two options. Of the four roofers I got estimates from, Reid was the only one that gave me an estimate for what I wanted rather than for whatever product or service they were trying to sell. Some of the others seemed to ignore my input entirely. Reid was less expensive than the others, stayed within the estimate, the work was done quickly, and the site was left completely clean. Very satisfied.

Reid provided the lowest, and in my experience, the most reasonable of three estimates for this work. Other estimates ran as high as $8,000+. In addition, Reid was recommended to us as the best flat-roofers in the city by another service provider we have used for other work and regard highly. We have had Reid make small gutter/downspout/roof repairs in the past. Our condo board approved Reid to do the work. Reid hung in there with us when it took well over a year to find a landscaper willing and able to install underground drains per a structural engineer's recommendation for preventing stormwater flooding. These drains need to control rain runoff from our downspouts, which overfill our catchbasin during deluges and flood our building basement. Unfortunately, we did not have the landscaper's proposal until just before the 2016 holiday season. Reid scheduled the gutter and downspout as soon as winter weather permitted, so that we are ready for the predicted onslaught of spring rain. They arrived on time, first thing in the morning and were finished by late afternoon as estimated. There was no damage to our property and they removed almost every large and small scrap of old and new material/debris. We have had only one light rain since installation, but the system appears to work as desired/expected, i.e., no roof, gutter, and downspout leaks. (Only a deluge will tell us for sure.) Reid took pictures at various stages of the work and at our request, sent us those pictures so that our condo board could easily approve timely payment for the work. In retrospect, there is only one thing I would require Reid do differently, and that is provide a more detailed description of materials, i.e., xxxx feet of xxxx inches of galvanized steel gutter, etc. We received what we expected, but adding this detail would protect both parties.

Great. There price was very competitive, and the quality of work exceeded my expectations. I was initially concerned that a part of the room wasn't done adequately. I contacted Kevin, He took my concerns very serious and sent another crew to inspect the work and make sure that I was satisfied with the quality of their work. They also assured me they will stay until I am satisfied and if I have any concerns they will return at any time. I have used many contractors over the years, but Reid roofing is unusual they really care, and will not be satisfied until the job is perfect. I would use them without any reservation for any future roof work. I would recommend them without any hesitancy. Kevin is a great person.

They tore off the roof over the sun parlor and reroofed it. The work was done the week before Christmas and, from the pictures provided for the work done, it went well. The workers came on time, and since it was very cold weather, three men came to do the work so they could complete it in one day.

Reid Roofing remains our go-to contractor for roof and gutter repairs and maintenance. As usual they were responsive and professional. They do quaility work at a fair price.

When the father, Mr Reid (I guess) ran the business, the quality, professionalism and price were exceptional. I used them for years when I needed roofing done. When his sons tool over, this all changed. and overall the company services and quality became average at best. I referred them to my next door neighbor and during the completion of THEIR roof, Reid Roofing workmen damaged MY house and used MY front porch to stage the project *without asking permission and only left after I called the father ( Mr. Reid) and sent him pics.. The damage was never addressed. The last time I used their services, I found the cost had increased significantly. The tar paper they used to repair looked to be sub quality from the ground. A week after the repair, two of the patches blew off. When I contacted them about it, they told me they did NOT grantee their work. Their father DID guarantee the work done by his company, however. Just the other day one of the sons stopped by and told me he felt bad about the job they had done a year before and wanted me to rehire them to do the job again. I told him his chance to make it right was a year ago when the patch failed within in a week or installation, and I would never rehire or refer them again.

I'm disappointed. I think that if you're not going to service certain areas you should list that online.

Excellent neighborhood family run business. Squeezed me into their busy schedule and providing excellent craftsmanship and service. Friendly yet professional with everything spelled out and completed as promised. Speedy solution to keep a small problem from becoming a larger problem on my circa 1870 cottage. The workmen were polite and respectful of my property. A really great transaction. Highly recommended.

The provider gave us a quote quickly which allowed us to compare pricing to other companies. Upon our acceptance, the provider stated that they would contact us to schedule a date for the work in about 4 weeks. However, they soon called us and indicated that they had an opening in the next few days. They showed up, replaced the downspout section, and left a clean work area. We would use them again in the future. This work was done on a 3-story, 6-unit condo building.

Highly recommended. The workers were able to do all of the access and tear off of old roofing from the alley, leaving little or no mess in our garden. The replaced rotted facia boards and roof decking, provided painted aluminum cladding over facia. They offered an alternative bid for a roofover for $1600 but I elected to go for the complete reroofing which was very reasonably priced at $2200. There was considerably more rotted wood than I anticipated, so I am glad that I went for the complete reroofing.

I called Reid roofing for to request a quote on Oct 2015. They promptly came out and provided an emailed. We decided to move forward with them at the beginning of the year. I signed the contract in early March and they came out to do the work towards the end of March. The roofers that worked on our roof were very nice. The gentleman that seemed to be supervising (and working) was very nice. He answered all my questions, and explained exactly what they were doing. I don't know anything about roofing, so I appreciated the fact he was willing to tell me the details. We now have a new roof and I think it looks great! After our roof was finishes we got hit with all the crazy weather. There was a little damage on the corner of our dormer, I called Reid Roofing to let them know and they came out to fix it.

I called Reid for an estimate on reroofing. Kevin the owner came out and measured the roof. He told me he would email me a proposal in a couple of days. I waited for a week. I had all my other proposals in hand. Then I called his office, and talked with the man in the office. He said he would get in touch with Kevin. A few minutes later he called back and said that they were just then working on job proposals, and I would have mine within the hour. I waited another week, and never heard from Reid Roofing again. I ended up selecting another contractor that seemed to want my business more.
