Description of Work: Our gutter had split at a corner. We had Reid estimate and make the repair. We were told they would send us pictures of the gutter condition along with their decision as to whether to repair the split with a sealant or with soldering. We did not receive the pictures and the decision, but during the next rain a few days later found that the gutter still performed as though split at the corner. Reid came back out and found that their repair had been made over enough other layers of sealant repair that the gutter had rusted out underneath. they made enough of a repair to last us a few rains, but recommend gutter replacement. Rust is visible from below in a few places in these 30 year old gutters, so gutter replacement seems reasonable, just wish they had determined that on the first visit. We have Reid's estimate of gutter replacement and will still consider them for that as we have had them successfully replace downspout segments for us at a reasonable price.

Description of Work: Roof inspection. Went reasonably but I felt it was more geared to finding problems and future work. There was a minimal amount of caulking done here and there. I would require multiple estimates for future roof work.

Took a couple weeks for initial appointment to get scheduled and for quote to get back to us. However, the guys that do the work really have it together so going to continue to use.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company for: $99 for a roof maintenance. When the employee first came out he went up on my roof. He was supposed to see what problems we were having and give us a review of how to repair those issues. Prior to the employee coming out, I spoke with the owner and I told him that we were having problems with our roof and there was a claim adjustor who had looked at our roof prior. He told us specific things that needed to be repaired; I even had photos. I asked Reid Roofing if he wanted to see pictures before they came out and let us know what it would cost. Then their employee came out, he went on my roof and he came back and he told me that I had hardly any roof problems. I have a major leak inside of my home, so there must be something going on with the roof. Finally when he came into the house, he was able to see the leaks and then said that I would need a full new roof based off of that. After that I did not trust him or the company. There were also some communication issues.

Description of Work: I called the service provider to tell them how I intended to use the big deal and was told that the Big Deal was perfect for what I needed. I then purchased the Big Deal and scheduled an appointment. When the service provider showed up at my house the gentlemen explained to me that the Big Deal did not correspond to what I needed. The service provider told me that he could come back and perform the work that I needed done for a higher fee.

Description of Work: They arrived on time and did the work and provided feedback on what other repairs needed to be done and in what timeframe. I was satisfied with the job.

Description of Work: Reid Roofing performed a full roof check, found areas that required caulk and applied it where needed. They were professional, friendly and thorough. Digital images were provided to show concerns and suggestions given to repair them. In addition, they followed up with a thank you email which also had the digital images. I would use this business again.

Description of Work: Used the Big Deal coupon for a roof inspection and minor repairs. They were there at the time they said they would be, took photos to show me the before and after and removed an old TV antenna for me that's been bugging me for years. Also found the root of an issue we have been trying to locate for a long time. Very happy and will use them again!

Description of Work: I emailed Reid Roofing for an appt/est. and no reply, no phone call. If the company uses an email address for contact, then I would think they would respond as they would in a phone call. This left a bad taste in my mouth, therefore I can't feel ok about further contact unless I see many more positive ratings here on Angie's List.

Description of Work: Called Reid roofing last week to come do a 5 minute project on roof- I was told sure no problem call us in the morning of your project & we'll have someone over, person on phone would not schedule an appmt- Called left a message on their voice mail the morning of project- no return call- called cell phone & guy was very rude saying did I make an appmt & he sent all his guys home- that it was too hot - Really rude- I did what they told me to do- unreliable..
