We are very happy with the kitchen remodel that Regency did for us. It looks beautiful. Bruce was very responsive to our needs and helped guide us through the process. By giving us contacts for flooring, tile, and fixtures, he was able to relieve some of our stress. The crew were always on time, courteous , clean and most importantly, did quality work. We look forward to working with them again.

Bruce's team is a joy! We had a wall taken down to open up the kitchen to the dining room. Bruce and his team lined up everything for us and detailed exactly what to expect. Courteous, professional, and above all else they demonstrated that they wanted us to be happy with the final outcome. We love the new space! Thank you!

Bruce and Regency did a fantastic job with our project (full bath remodel, kitchen backsplash & counters, and refinishing our wood floors). There were 3 things that we felt mattered the most: quality, price and time. The workmanship was great. Everything exceeded our expectations. In regards to price, we received quotes from a few different remodelers and Regency was by far the most reasonable option. This was mainly due due to the significant discounts we were able to obtain by going through Bruce's suggested suppliers. Time was a big deal to us because there was a 3 week window before we moved into our new house. And in that window we wanted most of the work to be completed. Bruce was able to get his guys started immediately and everything we requested to be completed was done prior to us moving.

Count me as a very happy, satisfied customer. I purchased a house last summer that needed a lot of work, starting with an outdated, nonfunctional kitchen and extending to a lower level rec room that desperately needed old shag carpeting pulled up and a new floor installed, a rear patio that needed a new concrete step leading out, and an unused door that needed to be bricked in to make more room in the kitchen. It was clear from my first meeting with Bruce that he had the experience, resources and people to do all the projects I had in mind, and I would only need to deal with one contractor. Bruce offered great suggestions, including extending the hardwood floors from the living and dining rooms into the kitchen and front hall, and we discovered that the stairs and upper floor had virgin oak floors under the (very old) carpeting, so planned to finish those as well. Whereas other kitchen remodelers I had interviewed came up with a single plan (that didnâÂÂt address some of the major items on my kitchen wish list), Bruce came back with at least five options and layouts--that did take my wish list items into account. That is, he listened to me. While his quote was not the cheapest, it wasnâÂÂt the most expensive, either. I was sold. We were under time pressure to get the masonry work done before cold weather hit, and Bruce got his guys here quickly. The masons had to reclaim bricks from the garage to fill in the door, and they made it look like a feature that had been planned from the outset. Amazing. Once we started on the interior work, I had a dedicated crew working here every day. Each morning they showed up at 8am sharp, and worked through the day. They cleaned up each evening before heading home. They answered my questions with patience and good humor. Bruce was outstanding in communicating with me throughout the entire process. We talked beforehand about the best ways to communicate, so I knew when to text him (urgent questions/issues) and when to email him (routine non-urgent stuff). Texts were always answered promptly, and were often followed by a phone call. Emails were always answered by the next day. If we needed a face to face meeting, he made it happen. By the time we got to doing the floors, I was comfortable enough with Bruce and his crew to go out of town for a week while they did the floor refinishing. Bruce sent pictures every day to show me the progress, and we were able to work through an unexpected problem over the phone by using the pictures. (What did we ever do before smart phones??) Any minor issue that came up (there were only a few, no major ones) was met with a positive can-do attitude and promptly resolved. The project was finished within the projected timeline, and passed inspections with flying colors. What more could one ask? Next up is a bathroom remodel. Not sure when IâÂÂll get there, but I plan to use Regency. And I will highly recommend them to anyone who is considering a r

We worked with Bruce to convert a walk in closet to a a master bathroom. Bruce was very timely, easy to talk to and really did an outstanding job setting us up with contacts to help us pick out all of our materials. We didn't have to worry about any of the details because the people Bruce set us up with were outstanding, easy to work with and on top of all the details so we didn't have to be. There was only one small hiccup and it was contractors showing up to work on a Saturday morning without us knowing ahead of time. Only an issue because we have 2 year old twins and they needed to shut the water down. There were no other communication issues and in fact, our foreman, Tom, was fantastic at communicating throughout the project. Timing was tricky because the job was done around the holidays, but there were no issues with work days or times. Bruce and his team were not the least expensive, but the quality of their work was worth every penny.

Bruce was very helpful and organized to deliver on our ambitious kitchen remodel. It was done within the promised time frame. His crew was very efficient and skilled. The remodel involved two walls coming down, complete new appliance set up, new floor, electrical, plumbing and even new outside siding. I'd recommend Bruce Pinzler and Regency to any homeowner.

One thing about ratings on home improvements, the person giving the rating cannot see behind the walls. About 6 months after Regency Home Remodeling (RHR) installed a new bathtub as part of a remodel there was a lot of water that went thru the overflow drain in the tub. This was a 2nd floor bathroom, and a few hours later we found huge puddles on the living room floor below as well as a damaged living room ceiling. The wall in the room next to the bathroom was cut opened and what was found was that RHR did not create a water tight seal where the overflow drain connects to the tub. Worse yet, they obviously knew the seal was no good because they tried to rectify this by using pipe dope on the rubber gasket, which is definitely not the way to fix it (see pics). The overflow was tested and it clearly leaked like a sieve. The proper fix for this was a $2 part from Home Depot, but since RHR chose to ignore the issue and just close up the wall and hope it was never discovered, we now had a hole in the wall to get to the problem and a damaged living room ceiling. This type of problem may have gone unnoticed for years, only leaking small amounts of water and causing mold to grow, not becoming noticeable until the mold itself starts causing problems. When Regency Home Remodeling was contacted about the issue, here is an exact quote from part of their response: "What were the circumstances that caused so much water to go through the overflow vent (it is not a drain)" They are under the impression that the overflow drain is simply a vent, and that we should not be putting water down it! The only purpose of the overflow is for water to go down it. In a later response from Bruce, his only concern was whether we had any standing to sue, he cited the "right to cure" since we had called someone else to fix it. The overall job RHR did was sloppy and the process seemed to be slap things into place and see if we notice/complain. They did rework the things we pointed out but this was an exhausting process and after a while we just wanted them out of our house, even knowing there were certain things we would just have to pay for someone else to correct. You may want to search on Galaxie Home Remodeling for things from 2012 and earlier as that was Bruce's previous company prior to RHR. If you do contact RHR and ask Bruce about this or any other unfavorable review, pay close attention to his response as you may notice the contempt he has for such customers. We should have paid closer attention to his response when we had asked about a negative review.

Bruce and his Regency team did a great job on my bathroom remodel and bedroom hardwood floor installation. When I first started thinking about the remodeling work I went to the big name firm that advertises frequently on the radio. Their price estimates were much higher and project timelines were much longer than Regencyâs. Regency finished the job right around the date the big name said they would start. Additionally, it felt like the potential project coordinator had never picked up a hammer. My bathroom remodel consisted of converting a vanity only area and a walk-in closet into a full master bathroom and redesigned master bedroom closet. I had an idea of what I wanted to do - Bruce did a great job of understanding my vision and offering up options for me to choose from. He had a library of pictures from prior bathroom remodeling projects that was a great source of ideas and provided many examples to help me think through all my potential options. Another benefit of working through Bruce was his vendor connections (i.e. plumbing fixtures, tile/granite, vanity, mirrors, etc.). Be prepared to spend time working directly with his vendors â youâll get everything at his contractorâs discounted price plus the benefit of even more design ideas. Bruceâs tile vendor did a tremendous job helping to design the tile pattern in my shower. Bruceâs team gets you through the permit process (from application to sign off), his craftsmen are skilled, theyâll make certain all touch-up items are resolved to your satisfaction, plus the work area will be spotlessly cleaned upon completion. I was on vacation for the last week of the dusty portion of the job â when I came back the hardwood floors throughout the rest of my house had all been cleaned and treated at his expense. My project came in right on budget. Next fall Iâm looking to do some work in my basement - Iâll be calling on Bruce and the Regency team to do the work. If youâre thinking about doing remodeling work around house make sure to give Regency a call, you wonât be disappointed!

This is to recommend the kitchen remodel project you might have in mind under the leadership of our Regency Remodeling contractor Bruce Pinsler. We decided on Regency when local Lincolnshire neighbor Pinsler caught wind we were interested, stopped by, and, within 24 hours, was back with a detailed proposal for our kitchen. Recommended was a complete tear out down to the studs, which we found to be the most efficient way to ensure success. We also were impressed with his intention to eliminate the usual wait time of weeks duration between cabinet installation and granite top measure, fabrication, and installation. His granite guy took our pick at Dall Tile and Granite, came and measured on a Monday, cut on a Tuesday, and installed on a Wednesday! We then knew that BruceâÃÂÃÂs bravado was well earned and backed by results. We learned that such a complete remodel requires every building trade other than foundation and roofing, so itâÃÂÃÂs going to be intensive with the possibility of delays and set-backs. There were none. Our initial decision to go with Regency and Bruce was finally based on, not the cheapest estimate; rather, his contention that once the project began, a dedicated crew would be there from 8 to 4:30 every day until the project was done. They were good on their word. We were fortunate to be able to be available from our busy work schedules to consult with his major subcontractor on design preferences on site, and they were faithful to our intentions and decisions, even taking out the grout when it proved not to be to our order with Dall Tile and reinstalling the right color. There were only a few details left, such as the need for quarter round base shoe on the cabinets, which probably had come with some, supplied by the cabinetry concern unrelated to Regency, but got lost in the shuffle. They agreed to come back and put that in. We are very pleased with the final result and wish anyone who intends on going through with such a major home improvement as this to choose Regency and Mr. Pinsler. I recommend them with a 5 star rating.

We hired Bruce and his team to help us design and remodel our master bathroom. Bruce was great from the start! He was extremely responsive, on time, honest, practical AND fun to talk to. He helped through every step of the project and aligned us with folks that would help us design and make good decisions for long term. We are extremely happy with the results. His crew, Arthur and John were courteous and CLEAN! They came every day and ensure we were getting what we expected. I trusted them in my home and they were friendly with our dog and family. We are planning on redoing our mudroom soon and will definitely hire Bruce and his team again!

We are very happy with all of the work that Regency did for us which included a kitchen remodel, custom shelving in the family room, two custom fireplaces, flooring on the first floor and basement, and a half bath remodel. I enjoyed working with Bruce - he was responsive and attentive and very good at incorporating my design ideas (thus we got a lot of custom and unique elements). Greg and Michael were great. They made a beautiful custom backsplash. Leo did a wonderful job on the floors; and when we had some bubbling (because of an uneven base from a previous owner removing a wall), he fixed it at no charge. All minor issues (crooked cabinet, etc) were promptly fixed. Bruce also made recommendations for suppliers and often passed along his contractor's discount. We got about 5 quotes and Regency's was average and reasonable. We stayed pretty close to the budget. Overall, it was a great experience and I would use them again.

Regency renovated 2 bathrooms for us. It was a complete remodel with both bathrooms torn down to the bare stud level. Regency did an excellent job as identified below. ⢠The job only took 5 weeks to complete so the disruption to our household was kept to a minimum timeline. ⢠All e-mails and phone calls to resolve issues were promptly returned. ⢠No major problems were experienced. ⢠Small problems that were incurred were promptly resolved. ⢠Final labor charges that were incurred were in-line with the initial budget that was proposed. ⢠Each night the job site was cleaned. Dirt and debris were kept to a minimum. ⢠The workers were very professional. All in all, we were very pleased with the performance of Regency. I would not hesitate to rehire them for any future work we may require.

Regency completely rehabbed two bathrooms for us. We were not entirely sure what we wanted at first, but Bruce did an excellent job helping us understand what our options were and we are thrilled with the end result. Bruce and the contractors were very easy to work with and committed to making sure we were very happy and comfortable with the end result. We would highly recommend them, especially to anyone that needs someone to help ideas come to life.

Regency recently completed a gut remodel of our master bathroom and kidsâ hallway bathroom and we simply could not be any happier with the results of both! What were once functional but entirely dated and terribly designed spaces turned into two beautiful spaces that are so nice it almost feels insulting to call them bathrooms. For my wife and me, this remodel was by far the biggest home improvement project weâÂÂve taken on and certainly an investment that was not insignificant for us. For that reason, we evaluated several large and small design/build firms and, before learning about Regency, we began working with a boutique design/build firm. Unfortunately, several months and several thousand dollars later, we determined that this firm was much more of a design firm than a build firm. We were incredibly frustrated at this point and, naturally, we were a bit gun shy and skeptical of engaging with a new company moving forward. That said, we determined to find the right partner and, thankfully, we stumbled upon Regency Home Remodeling. After our first meeting with Bruce, we knew he and his team were exactly the type of company we were looking for all along. From day 1, Bruce took the time to listen to exactly what we wanted and, while he offered up plenty of ideas of his own, he was completely open to our thoughts and was focused on making the space reflective of our wish list. Admittedly, IâÂÂm âÂÂa bitâ particular about these kinds of things so I know I was not the easiest client to work with. However, Bruce and his team never made me feel like the pain that IâÂÂm sure I was! ï One thing that stood out throughout the project (~ 3 months long) was how clean, professional and respectful the Regency team was the entire time. Knowing that we were living in the house during the project, the Regency team made sure to contain the workspace as best they could and also made sure to clean up every night and protect the floors/carpet every morning. Since Bruce uses all of his own guys, we of course got to know them well, which was comforting since youâÂÂre trusting these folks to not only build you beautiful spaces but also to take care of your house while they are in an out. The entire team was great and, while these things are never stress free, the Regency team made the process smooth and, dare I say, fun! As a side note, our two young boys had a blast with the guys and were seriously disappointed when the âÂÂworker guysâ were all done. Oh, and they definitely love their new âÂÂbig boyâ bathroom too! We are thrilled with the results and enjoy our new bathrooms every day. I would highly recommend Bruce and the entire team at Regency! Thank you team Regency!

Bruce Pinsler did an excellent job renovating the first floor of my townhouse, and because of the amazing results, I decided to also finish the basement, and remodel the second floor. Every aspect of my experience was positive, from the initial presentation of the plans and costs, the communication throughout the project, and the professional and quality job by each member of his team, I could not imagine a better outcome. This is a company you can trust to give you results you will love!

My wife and I are delighted with the kitchen remodel that Regency just completed for us. Regency has the resources of a large firm, yet shows a level of flexibility, focus, and commitment to customer satisfaction that frankly amazed us. From first to last, Bruce Pinsler and his team demonstrated expertise, commitment, care, and integrity. We had long postponed this project, daunted by its complexity and by the difficulty of finding high quality yet affordable contractors on the North Shore. Regency was literally an answer to our prayers. For planning, skill, politeness, character, and commitment, A+. Here are a few specific examples: From the beginning Mr. Pinsler worked within the amount we said we could afford. He outlined what was and wasn't possible for that amount, and worked collaboratively and creatively with us to produce results that far exceeded our expectations. Regency's workers were polite, efficient, considerate, and highly skilled. When toward the end one GFI electrical component turned out to be defective, one worker, Alfred, came twice after hours to secure replacement parts and to work until the problem was resolved, We would use Regency again, and are grateful that we found the company through this Home Improvement website.

Regency Remodeling completely renovated my master bathroom. Bruce's estimates for time and costs of materials was on target. They did a beautiful job! The quality of the work was excellent, and customer service was fantastic. From start to finish, Bruce was great to work with, and I really appreciated having a project manager for this job. He listened, provided counsel, was clear and very responsive. It was such a great experience I rehired them a month later to redo my kitchen!
