We got 5-6" of water in our basement. I used Angie's List to locate contractors to remediate the damage. They arrived on time and gave me an estimate in 3 days and were able to do the work within a week of contacting them. They explained exactly what they were going to do and made some recommendations that saved us a lot of money. We would definitely use them again.

They were excellent. We had sewage and water in our basement. They came out went above and beyond expectations. They removed all the damaged drywall and insullation. They prepped everything for the next company we used for the drywall and insullation. I would recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I experienced category 3 black water in the lower level of our home (sewer) during the big rain/flood, on April 18th. We called PuroClean at 4:30am, had a call back very soon there after, and Scott and team were at our house at 9:00am. As you can imagine many homes in the surrounding area were in a similar state, so the process was done in stages so other homes could be aided. Over the next several days, they evacuated the sewage, set up protective barriers to protect us and our animal (cat), disinfected, tore out drywall, tore out flooring, helped us move out all of the destroyed furniture, etc... This was a very trying process for us (emotionally and physically). Scott and team were professional, empathetic, and always did what they said there were going to. While they were a great group of people, and a pleasure to do business with, my husband told Scott we hope never to have to call him again (as that would mean disaster struck again).

We discovered white mold in our attic a few weeks ago, and my husband met with several contractors to get estimates. We selected PuroClean because they gave the most thorough assessment of the work that would be done. Our attic has many areas that are not easily accessible, and Scott from PuroClean explained how his crew would address the cleaning in those areas to my husband's satisfaction. Puroclean was available to do the work the following week, which was very convenient. Scott accompanied his crew, and walked me through the work that they would be performing. They set up a containment area by enclosing a room adjacent to the attic space and worked all day cleaning and sealing the attic when the cleaning was done. When they finished, they walked me through the attic, showing me the results of their work. I was very pleased with the professionalism of Scott and his crew. While I hope to never have to deal with mold remediation again, should it ever be necessary, we will use PuroClean to do the work. I highly recommend their work.

September 22, 2012 I found PuroClean on Angie's list I called and got an immediate response and estimate and arranged to get the floor in HVAC area and closet removed. I had to get the HVAC unit taken out first and got that done by the company I bought it from. On October 3rd the work was done -what a job. All the old flooring removed and taken away from the building. Area cleaned up and fans installed. The gentleman came back Friday and checked for moisture and put the dehumidifiers in for over the weekend. Came back Monday and removed them. What an outstanding job.

We had a continuous leak of the water heater which went undetected for several months, causing a problem in the basement with humidity and mold. The humdity even affected the upper levels of the house. Scott reviewed the issues in detail and provided a thorough estimate. The basement is open/unfinished, so the vast majority of issues were known and visible. One area of uncertainty was the foyer, where the damage was hidden behind the walls and would only be visible when the basement work was done. Therefore, he gave me two estimates -- one which included demolition of the foyer and one which did not. As it turned out, we needed to do the extra work, so it was nice to have that priced ahead of time, to cut down on surprises. Scott is very knowledgeable and is also patient in explaining the various steps in the process, so that the customer understands what is being done. He also was very helpful in recommending and coordinating with other contractors, as I needed the water heater and furnace replaced very quickly. Because he is known to, and respected by, the other contractors, they were willing to accommodate our needs and do the work quickly, even given the circumstances (mold present in the basement) and the timing (Christmas holiday season). In mold remediation work, there is a lot of equipment required, and the electrical system in my 100-year-old house was not up to the challenge. This made things difficult for Puroclean, but they developed a workaround and were patient despite the delay and the fact that the work extended through the new year. Scott's team, including the team leader on site, David, were very professional, friendly, helpful and understanding. This was a big undertaking, requiring a lot of physical work and professional expertise. I am a very grateful and happy customer.

While I'm thrilled that the damaged materials were removed and the area dried and sanitized, what I was expecting was that the drywall and baseboard would also be replaced. Honestly this was a small clean up (I've had problems in this property before) and I expected that the price included replacement. Scott did not offer to suggest a builder/handyman to rebuild the walls until AFTER the work was done and I discovered that rebuilding was not a part of what he was going to do. During his estimate we specifically talked about what might be done about the floor and who I might work with on that, but never did he ask if I had someone to rebuild the walls or bother to point out that I was going to need someone there as well. I have told Scott that I think his communication about what his is supplying is less than forthright but he disagrees, so BE AWARE that you are not going to get the rebuilding from Puroclean, only clean up.

I originally called Scott to get information regarding water damage that had occurred in a property that I was in the process of buying. Scott was very generous in sharing his extensive knowledge before I hired him to do any work. As a result of Scott?s guidance, I was able to make intelligent decisions on how to handle the situation and what to expect and require the seller?s contractor to do in order to address the damage properly. After I closed on the property, I did hire Scott to inspect the damaged areas to be sure that the wood was dry and that there were no mold issues. I respect and appreciate Scott?s willingness to share his expertise, his professionalism, and his reasonable rates. He really knows his profession and he?s overall a great guy!

Scott and his crew were professional, on-time, and very thorough. Due to extensive water damage, there were a lot more problems with our house that went past mold damage. Scott and his crew pointed out all the areas that needed repair or inspection by a contractor and other areas of the house that should be looked at to prevent further water infiltration.

Great experience overall. Scott and his crew were very prompt, courteous and professional. They updated me as necessary on all work and gave me a very clear and exact idea upfront about what was to be expected. I would definitely call them again if necessary.

Do ask for a moisture reading; either by meter or infrared reading. Don''t hire someone who only "looks" at the problem and diagnoses the problem without any testing. Do ask for steps of remediation. Don't blindly enter into an agreement. Do know ALL houses have mold. Don't let the inspector scare you into more remediation than you need. Do compare services and BBB ratings. Do compare estimates and QUESTION all cost proposals. PuroClean made this stressful process pleasant.

Great experience, called from work around 4:00 pm on a Friday after getting a frantic call from my husband that our basement was flooding. Scott and his team were at my house within the hour and worked well into the night and all weekend. I would highly recommend.

Scott stopped by to look at a problem area in my 2nd bathroom. He gave me a thorough explanation and recommendation for myself to remediate. He also gave me advice for my master bathroom to prevent any future problems. The visit ended up being a free consultation to my surprise. I will no doubt call PuroClean again if the need arises and would recommend them to anyone in need of mold remediation services.

We discovered a slow drip of water coming from the ceiling of a closet. I went to Angie's list and searched water/mold contractors. Pure Clean was rated highly and they were close to me. On a Sunday night I got a call back from the President of the company, and he was at my door promptly the next day. He recommended a plumber do the work since it's such a small job, and there was no charge for his visit. He will refer me to his go-to guy for this kind of work. Thanks Scott!

Today was my first day as an AL member. I needed to check on a possible mold problem. I called several providers but only PuroClean actually answered the phone. Scott listened to my problem and explained the issues clearly. Then, he came over to check--the same day! He was immediately able to isolate the problem (not mold!) and tell me how to handle it. He could have done a mold test for $325, but instead he just gave me good advice. For which he charged me --nothing. He was extremely knowledgable and professional. I would highly recommend PuroClean.

He was very punctual. He came and inspected the house for mold. He found some in the basement, under the bathroom and where there was some flooding. He told me what was involved in remediation, if it was necessary. He took a test for all kinds of airborne mold. The test results had to be sent out of town to a lab. He got back to me on the day promised. The lab report broke out each time of airborne mold. Fortunately, the level of each was below what would require remediation. Since I am allergic to Trichophyton mold, I asked him why it didn't appear on the results. He got back to me with the information that it isn't airborne. This is the type of mold that causes athlete's foot and the discoloration of toenails. Apparently when you have this condition, which I do on the toes, it produces allergens which cause the allergic reaction in the nose. The important thing is that he didn't try to have me involved in remediation which I didn't need. The detail of the lab results was very thorough, so I'm much better informed of what I'm faced with. I am very happy with his professionalism and the entire experience.

Scott was very professional and took his time explaining how the process of mold removal is done. He was very thorough is his explanation process in how the correct way to remove mold was. He actually came out and cleaned my garage because I thought maybe some of his equipment has caused an odor in my garage. This ended up having nothing to do with his equipment or anything done by Puroclean. scott just wanted to ensure I had a great expierience.

We found mold on several windows in our house so I contacted PuroClean to see if they could help remove it. They were very honest and said they would be a very expensive solution to a problem I could resolve myself. Mold is a very scary thing and they could have easily taken advantage of that fear and told me I needed thousand's of dollars of work but they didn't do that. I appreciate finding such honest people who truly want to help people. PuroClean gave me all the information I needed to resolve my problem without charging me a thing. I am very grateful.

He was very responsive when I first called and explained the work he does; he was very professional at all times. However, he describs his as a "full service" and after completing the mold testing and providing a report that recommended some minor remediation may be necessary, he told me that it was not the type of work he did because it wasn't "big enough of a job". *** After reading my initial feedback on Angie's List, Scott emailed me and explained that he felt it would be more cost-effective for me to use a handyman because the affected area is so small that it is not recommended to be completed by a mold remediation professional (at a higher hourly rate). He did provide an estimate, and I am also obtaining an estimate from a handyman to complete the recommended work.

I was not jyped by another company.

Unfortunately, we never received any type of follow-up, from anyone at Puroclean. nothing. poor.

I never received a call back in regards to the work or an estimate. This was unprofessional and inconsiderate. I would understand if the company was overwhelmed but I never received the courtesy of a returned call.
