The pictures attached are before they cleaned. I thought the price was reasonable and the crew that did the work was fantastic. All the wood paneling had to be ripped out, crevices and walls cleaned, and hollow wooden doors removed. They worked tirelessly for 12 hours. They cleaned under the washer and dryer and mold on the walls. The dump truck hauled debris away and no debris was left for me to clean up in my driveway or yard.

It went great! Alan and Scott were kind, sympathetic, professional and knowledgeable. They came promptly, their crew was neat, clean and efficient. When they were dine there was no mold and all damaged floors, walls, ceilings, etc, were gone. I was very pleased they recommended other companies who needed to do other work they didn't do like furniture and piano movers, etc. They were very honest giving us detailed invoices and working with our insurance company. For a horrible situation, they were a bright spot in the process!

Excellent advice--and who can complain about the price?

Scott assured us that the smell and probably my breathing issues are more likely due to very old (90 yrs) firebrick out-gassing after being wet, combined with very high levels of outdoor allergens. Since he did not thin it was mold, he did not recommend tearing up the floor to look for trouble.

It was pretty boilerplate with mold and remediation. You get mold and they have to cut it out. That's what they did. It is not hard to just undo something.

We had just moved into a 6 year old house that passed inspection and had a slight smell of mold. We suspected the mold was originating from a bathroom light that had not been sealed properly. PuroClean came out, and that is when we discovered the real trouble. It turns out that the problem was from a roof that had been leaking since construction (6 years ago). The entire perimeter of the roof was completely rotted and moldy. What was originally supposed to be a 2 day project took the span of the summer. Throughout the course of the project, we had PuroClean come out at different iterations. Here is why they were great: 1. Patience: Unfortunately, we were at the mercy of weather and the roofing company - neither of which were terribly reliable. PuroClean worked around a hectic schedule. 2. Reliability: PuroClean always maintained the aforementioned schedule. Allen was always very patient with our hectic scheduling. Their crew were always on time when scheduled. Their owner visited our house on 3 different occasions to inspect. 3. Clean: That was especially important to my wife. Give what they do, the rooms were always clean upon their workers leaving each day. 4. Quality: Work was done thoroughly and properly.

EXCELLENT - VERY PROFESSIONAL.

We found mold on a new property purchase and contacted PuroClean right away. The in-home estimate process was fantastic. Scott said they would over-estimate a bit to make sure everything was covered. The estimate took longer than stated to come back. Two partially walls had to be removed as well as bedroom carpeting. They were kind enough to take the entire carpet free of additional cost. The worker they sent was friendly but could work on his professionalism. At the end of the job, I found several areas that were not covered with the white paint. They fixed it immediately. When I questioned some problem areas, Scott promptly answered my questions and offered to come inspect it himself. The price was exactly what they quoted but I thought they took less wall than was previously over-estimated. I also had to remind Scott to refund the estimate charge from my total, which he did right away. Overall, they did a good job with our mold remediation.

They were professional, thorough, did a wonderful job, we're right on their estimate, and dealt with my home owners insurance. I would recommend them and use them again myself, though hopefully not for the same reason!

Scott got back to me immediately and really set my mind at rest. He listened patiently as I described the issue and gave good advice -- then listened patiently and graciously some more while I asked follow-up questions and made sure I understood clearly. I'm really grateful, not just for the advice but for his kindness in delivering it and especially in the speed with which he was able to get back to me. He gave me the straight scoop and didn't take advantage of my lack of familiarity with his specialized work. I would definitely contact him again if I ever felt anything needed to be done in my home. I called Scott with some questions about some mold I had under the sink in one of my rental properties. He was very professional and courteous. He explained to me about different types of mold and admitted that all houses have some levels of mold, and it didn?t sound like this was truly a big problem that needed immediate remediation. I called twice over a three week period and each time was told someone would call me back. Nobody ever called me back

Great. He came back the next day to check everything. It actuallty dried very well by acting immediately.

I did not need his services and feel comfortable doing the clean up my self by following his ibstructions

No surprises or mishaps. Everything was done as explained initially. Four-man crew arrived promptly with Scott, the Proprietor. Scott supervised the team leader before leaving and provided paperwork and warranty after.

I called Scott early in the morning and got a call back immediately. It was not so time sensitive, but he was at my house within a couple hours, quickly determined a course of action, and had his drying equipment set up right afterwards. He worked directly with my insurance adjuster, which was convenient for me. That's also why I don't know the cost.

I cannot even begin to express how wonderful the Puroclean team were. They tackled the problem efficiently and professionally, removing and disposing of all of the miscellaneous items in the basement, which had been ruined. Then they cleaned the basement thoroughly and sanitized it. All the work was accomplished in about half a day. Well done.

The device person I talked to on the phone was very helpful and knowledgeable. He spent a long time talking through my questions and sharing information about mold and about what they do. He made an appointment for later that week. I had a different person come to our home. He was prompt (even early) and seemed similarly knowledgeable. It was clear to him that we did not have an extensive or toxic mold issue. Did we have a spot of toxic mold? He said yes and explained how we could remove it ourselves. Did he see other non-toxic molds? Yes. And he advised us on purchasing a dehumidifier and well as an air filter to help. He even noticed that we had the humidity setting on our heating unit all wrong and explained proper use of that. He did not run a bunch of tests, however. Everything he advised he did by sight. However, beyond the one spot where there was black mold- the rest of our basement was unfinished and therefore there is not a lot to pull out. I feel like be was just very realistic- there is mold everywhere in the natural world and a basement is a prime breeding ground but here are some steps you can take to help and here are some steps that are probably not necessary and super super costly. I appreciated this approach. And I recommend them.

Did not use this company due to cost restraints at the time. Quote and inspection was done in a very timely and professional manner.

They were very profressional from start to finish. Came out right away, kept their work date, arrived early for the work, and did it in a timely fashion. Project area was contained, cleaned up after themselves and workers were polite. Also, they communicated very clearly throughout the project. Did a very nice job removing the infected area/materials.

Scott was wonderful. We had some water damage to our ceiling from the condo unit above ours, and our tenant was concerned about mold. Scott did a very thorough test and concluded that though there was a little mold, it was not enough to be concerned with. He gave us a very honest and fair assessment, when we were totally at his mercy. If he had said, "You need have extensive damage and I will charge you $1000 to fix it," we would have not known any better but to do it. Instead he let us know that a bleached rag could take care of the mold if we wanted to do it ourselves, or we could hire a handyman to replace the drywall. He let us know that in his estimate, replacing the drywall would be much cheaper with a handyman, due to his $850 minimum. Very helpful, efficient, and honest.

Luckily we had our remodeling contractor with us as well and he was able to provide information to us at no cost. Saved us $175.

Scott was the only service provider who personally answered my call during the hectic days after the property flooded. He was polite, set up an appointment within a few days of the disaster, and showed up on time. He was knowledgeable, fairly priced and ready to work. His crew was professional and competent.klAlso, he worked cooperatively with the insurance agent to make sure we were reimbursed to the full extent of the policy coverage. Although it was not lucky to have needed him, we were lucky to get him.
