Ivan was great to work with. He showed up on time, did a walk through, told us exactly what to expect, and gave us a quote when he said he would. He also gave us the option to buy our own paint. The completed the task on time, and did a very thorough job. Ivan and his crew were low key and curteous, always working hard. We had new hardwood floors installed before they started, and the floors do not have a scratch or paint on them. Thank you.

I've never had a contractor show up 10 minutes late and then only wait 5 minutes for me to return his call.

Ivan Bermeo, owner of Nova Forma, is a gentleman and a pleasure to work with. He earnestly wanted us to be happy with the work, and he succeeded. I'm a fan. He worked right along with his crew, and everyone seemed cheerful and eager to do a good job. Everyone was unfailingly polite and accomodating. They were punctual, they worked hard, and the finished the job a little ahead of schedule. The edges they painted are straight, and paint was not splattered on adjoining surfaces. They are meticulous. They moved all the furniture to the center of each room as they painted it, and covered it all with plastic sheeting. They covered the floors with plastic sheeting. When they finished, they put everything back where it belonged. They cleaned up after themselves after each day's work, and after completion of the job. If you are having your house painted, you cannot find a better company to do the job.

I never had professional painting done before and was curious what it would cost. Had no problem getting estimate, but after hearing the price, decided to just do the work myself.

Nova Forma Company is owned and carefully operated by Ivan Bermeo. Ivan is a consumate professional. His work and that of his staff is of the highest quality. He is timely, responsible, polite, a craftsman of his trade. He cares about his work and he cares about his clients. He works with and oversees his crew providing a tremedous quality. Most of all, Ivan is a gentleman. He never complains when you suddenly increase the scope of the project or change your mind or ask him to mix another color. He handles all that is part and parcel of business in a business like manner. Truthfully after using his company several times now, we consider Ivan one of our family. He has now moved into a second generation, as he just completed a project from my daughter. Nova Forma performed the contracted work within the stated time limit. I could not recommend him more highly !!

They did an excellent and very thorough job. They were punctual and professional. Carefully covered all my furniture and cleaned up after the project was finished. The price was reasonable and lower than I had paid for painting other areas of the condo. The owner, Ivan, was responsive and easy to get a hold of for quick scheduling of the project. I will definitely use them again in the future.

A little hard to contact at first but once that was fixed Ivan came out and gave a total estimate. Their price was reasonable and was broken down room by room. They came out yesterday and painted a hallway and a huge living/dining room combination with a vaulted ceiling. They took down a ceiling fan and repaired some minor cracks. The paint job was fantastic. They were neat and cleaned up properly. I will use them again and highly recommend them to anyone considering a paint job.

The project went very well. Ivan was very communicative during the entire process, was thorough and complete. He provided a detailed estimate, which was right on. The painting also looks great, and I've referred Nova Forma to a couple of friends since completing the project.

We were very pleased with this companies bid, even though it was not the lowest it did promise to get the job done the fastest which was equally important to us at the time. We had had bids that were triple his price and one or two that were just below his price. The work was done in a little over a week. This job required over 70 sheets of drywall. It would have been done slightly sooner but he was not pleased with some of the work and made his men redo a section of the mudding. Afterwards we had some minor issues that were dealt with fast and beyond our satisfaction. We added a chair rail and Ivan threw it in at no cost since it took him a day longer than projected to get the job done. I have recommended this company to co-workers and will continue to recommend them. Very pleased with them.

Very well, in fact, Ivan even came back to install a clock that was unreachable. They ran out of paint before the job was complete and were not going to charge me for the extra, but I insisted on paying.

Armando and Ivan came out and tore off the old wood and replace it with pressurized wood that had to dry for six months before it could be painted. I was unhappy with some of the boards cupping and the way it looked, so they came back and added molding and finished off the end on one side. It looked better but some of the wood did not lie flat. That weekend we got seven inches of rain. The undried wood split and heaved like an accordion. I called Ivan and they came right out and tried to nail it down so no one would trip on it. I went on vacation for a week and when I returned there was a message from Ivan saying they were going to replace the whole thing. I didn't even have to say anything! They came back that week, tore off the undried wood and used pre-dried wood. It looks great and lies perfectly flat. Nova Forma stands by their work.

They were good at coming out. They sent someone out the same day, he sent the email the next day with the estimate and I was very impressed.

Ivan was an excellent communicator. Our red door and walls needed extra coats, and Ivan called me to let me know how many extra coats it would take and extra time/costs. He was upfront with all the information, and while he would give me his professional recommendation, he did no work without getting my approval first. He and his team were on time, and put me to the front of his list because I did not want to bring our baby into the new home while paint fumes were here. He was a real pro. The cost was a bit more than other quotes I got, but it was worth it. I would have seen surprises from other contractors, where IVAN came and scoped out everything that would be needed up front and I never felt like I was being taken advantage of like with other contractors. He even came out after the job was done to touch up areas that I was picky about, but probably no one else would have noticed, and he did not charge me for it.

In the past 3 years, I have hired 3 different paint companies and 2 different contractors from Angie's List to do various projects in my home. All of those experiences were pretty good but Nova Forma is by far the best and a leader in customer satisfaction. The owner, Ivan Bermeo, came each morning to meet with me and check the progress of the job. His employees were on time, courteous and very clean. They worked very efficiently and with great attention to detail. The services were well worth the money but what really impressed me was that they fixed a handrail in the hallway that had come loose from the wall and didn't charge me. Ivan also found a creative solution to save money by repainting my old/yellowed recessed lighting trim with metallic spray paint rather than buying new trims. As if that wasn't enough, they really went out of their way when I changed my mind about the color of the paint I had picked for the deck. After working in the hot sun for hours, both Julio and Jose had nothing but smiles and did not make me feel bad at all when they had to strip off the color I picked and come back the next day and restain. Ivan did not charge me for the additional labor and I only had to pay for the new stain. I will definitely work with them again in the future and would highly recommend them to both friends and family. Customer service does not get any better than this!

Ivan and his crew were wonderful. Ivan is very professional, arrived on time, gave a solid quote, helped me think of a creative solution for my budget constraints. He came out the same day I called for a quote, workers started two days later, and finished in a very timely manner. They cleaned up everything, and did a wonderful, professional job. It was a finished condo, so they had to tape and plastic everything for protection, remove light fixtures, etc. I'm a Realtor, and I'm thankful to have found a great resource to recommend to other clients who have painting/skim coating needs!

They were very responsive over the phone. Came quickly and provided a very reasonable bid for the work. We were especially happy with their cleanliness as they were careful to clean up after themselves. The work was done quickly, professionally and they showed up and left when they said they would. Overall, very good service. We would use them again.

Along the with the painting (covered floor, fixed cracks and sanded) they repaired a big crack in the ceiling where there was some danger of plaster coming down. They also re-attached a light fixture in the pantry and rehung a door that was mis-aligned. I gave them a key and they worked late to get the job done so the new tenant could move in. They cleaned up and were very polite.

I have had drywall work done by at least 5 different providers and this was, by far, the best experience that I have had. They were prompt, covered everything, did a beautiful job of drywalling, carpentry and painting, and left absolutely no mess.

Overall, I was very pleased w/ Nova Forma. Ivan was very friendly. His staff of painters were also very professional. Ivan was responsive to detailed questions that I asked about paint finishes. His staff of painters also paid very close attention to detail, reviewing the work completed each w/ me in detail every day. In terms of the actual work itself, I am very pleased with the result. The paint job is MUCH BETTER than anything that I ever could have completed my own. In terms of price, Nova Forma's price was very competitive w/ other vendors. All of the vendors were within $500 of one another. While the final cost was higher than the estimate, this increase was due to the paint I chose (Polo Ralph Lauren). Ivan made me aware of this fact beforehand so I appreciated his diligence. Finally, Ivan's staff was very punctual. They were ALWAYS on-time!

They were punctual and pleasant to be around. The job was perfect. I'm picky and they were very patient.

He was extremely prompt. The owner, Ivan, had us wait to do his work because he recognized that there was still one leak that wasn't solved. He was exactly right. After we got that repaired, he came out. He wanted to make sure it was correct for us.

Wasn't able to use his services, but he provided referrals of customers who have. Estimated cost was $7,500.
