It turned out that they piping was so decayed from years of use, that it was rusting from the inside and causing blockage. When he took the pipe off, it actually crumbled. He replaced this. The second time they came out, they repaired the bathroom sink. It looked like it was leaking into the decorative cabinetry that it sets on. It turned out that the cartridge in the fixture needed to be replaced. This stopped the leaking. We even had them out for a third job. I had a clogged bathtub drain. I had another company come and rod it out and two or three months later it would be clogged again. Northwest found out that the drainage mechanism in the drain pipe had broken and fallen down towards the bottom of the piping, causing a blockage. So, any residue got caught on the metal and created a blockage. No one else was able to discover this until Northwest found it. He also added a new seal to the base on the toilet. I was very pleased with the work and the quality of their work. They two gentlemen, who are brothers, were very personable.

I called Jim from northwest plumbing on Wednesday 07/18/12, he was able to come out the same day and inspect what plumbing work i needed. I walked him through everything we needed and asked me how soon I was looking to get the work done. We agreed on Monday and he informed me he would have an estimate by Friday. I received the estimate Friday afternoon and agreed to all the repairs. He showed up on time, worked efficiently and completed all the work in less than 4 hours. He cleaned up after himself and left no mess. I would highly recommend Northwest plumbing! Thanks Jim for the good work.

We recently moved into our first home that had sat vacant for over a year. The past occupant was remodeling the unit to rent and passed away right before putting it on the rental market. After doing our 3rd load of laundry the drainage pipe started to bubble up and overflow. I called Jim at NWP on Monday and he was very flexible to meet my schedule. We agreed on Thursday between 9-11am. At 8:50AM on Thursday Jim was at my door, polite, and eager to help us. Jim was very personable, but more importantly knowledgeable of the situation. He tried to snake the drain but the building's old pipes kept him from being able to snake the problem. He pulled the washing machine out and opened the pipe to find about 2 feet of built up rust. Jim pulled out the rust, snaked the drain, and built a new drain pipe (1 foot longer, so it met code) for us. We also had a minor problem with our toilet and our fridge that Jim also helped with. I will not hesitate to call Jim and NWP again for all of my future plumbing needs.

The installation of the hot water heater went 100% without any problems at all. They chose the correct tank for us with regards to efficiency and size, and since the installation, we have had absolutely no problems at all.

I have used them for years. I would absolutely continue to use them in the future.

They did thorough search to determine what was causing a "mystery" leak in the basement. Turned out to be an under the floor toilet leak which they took care of a leaking toilet by replacing the wax ring.

Dan was very accommodating and easy to work with. He knew, from my description of the problem, exactly what needed to be done, and he was prepared to do it, with the right parts and equipment, when he came to the house.

All in all in went very well. Did a really nice job on the outside spigot , replaced the old one with a freeze proof spigot. We bought the fixtures for the kitchen sink and Jim installed them, works well.

Jim was very professional and responsive. He did excellent work and cleaned up after himself. We had some pretty old plumbing in one of the bathrooms and he dealt with it well.

My husband who is 72 years old fell at 330AM this morning hitting the toilet seat causing the tank to crack. I checked Angies List and found Northwest Plumbing and chose them after reading the reviews. When I called them, they were polite, gave me the price, and told me someone would be here between 1030 - 1100. The plumber was actually 15 minutes early and he completed the job within a reasonable time. He was efficient, timely, professional,courteous and compassionate - asking my husband if he got injured when he fell. I would highly recommend Northwest Plumbing.

Excellent. Prompt response to a telephone message, cost confirmed and a short notice quick installation due to condition of old water heater and personal scheduling problems. Installation went as scheduled within 24 hours of the call and the work was done efficiently in a very workmanlike manner. All questions and inquiries were answered. I wish I had the same luck with all service providers.

Northwest Plumbing Company explains everything to me and I do not feel like I am getting ripped off. I feel like they charge a lot but I feel like their prices are fair. They seem like really honest guys. The only thing I would say is that they seem to be running an hour behind the time they tell me they will be here. So I take that into account when I schedule them to come out.

I've been very happy with them. They were very good. They weren't as cheap as others would be but I was satisfied with them.

On time, actually 15 minutes early, clean, courteous, knowledgeable, well prepared and ready to work.

Jim was very quick to respond and came out first thing the next day. He unclogged the sink and also educated me about avoiding the problem in the future.

Both of these items were fixed the same day and quickly. Furthermore, Northwest Plumbing has been great on all of my other jobs. My only complaint is that they are regularly 30-60 minutes late. But, when they arrive everything is quick and professional.

The problem was diagnosed and fixed within a couple of hours.

WE BELIEVED THAT THE TOILET HAD COME LOOSE FROM THE FLOOR AND WOULD HAVE TO BE RE-SEATED, BUT THE PLUMBER FOUND THAT ALL IT NEEDED WAS FOR A BOLT TO BE TIGHTENED.

JIM WAS EXCELLENT: FRIENDLY ON THE PHONE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, GOOD ESTIMATE. HE WAS PUNCTUAL, COURTEOUS, CAREFUL OF MY RUGS & FLOORS, EFFICIENT, KNOWLEDGEABLE, POLITE, FRIENDLY. THERE'S NOT A SINGLE BAD THING I CAN SAY, AND LOTS OF GOOD THINGS TO SAY.

THEY INSTALLED THE PUMP A YEAR AGO AND CAME BACK TO REPLACE A SWITCH THAT WENT BAD FOR NO CHARGE!
