NORTH SIDE RENOVATIONS

Jeremy came out to look at the job and had an estimate a few days later. It was reasonable, and we were able to schedule the work on the weekend while we were out of town. The finished project looked good as new, and the final price was less than the estimate. Overall a great experience!

When Jeremy came out he was very professional, provided an ample amount of workers to get the job done as soon as possible after the start and delivered a very satisfying result. We felt Northside Renovations delivered a good quality result.

Jeremy and his guys can pretty much do anything and if they can't he will tell you up front to find someone else that can do it better. their work is impeccable, they clean up after themselves, are super nice and are always reliable and on time!

I called Jeremy to help me locate a water pipe that had burst in the wall. He was able to come to my house the next day, and he arrived on time. He was able to quickly locate where the pipe was in the wall, and make a small opening in the wall so that the pipe could be removed and repaired. I've used Jeremy in the past and will continue to use him in the future whenever I need a Handyman!

After researching on Angie's List I called Jeremy from Northside Renovations. He was able to come over that afternoon/early evening and take a look at my proposed projects. I had an estimate within a few days and Jeremy, Roberto and Antonio arrived to start the project later that week. We were very pleased with the professionalism of this company, and I felt like they really listened to what I was asking for. That being said, I feel like opinions were also offered by the contractor that helped me to obtain a better final result (i.e. how far to extend the tile, etc). Everyone was very personable, clean, professional and I felt like the pricing was very reasonable for the job done. At the end of the day they cleaned up our house was quite clean considering that we were having work done (counters were cleaned and floors vacuumed). We have had a lot of compliments on the work that was performed and we would definitely hire Jeremy and North Side Renovations again - a great experience.

I contacted North Side Renovations to request an estimate on several small jobs. Jeremy responded to my voicemail message within 2 hours, and we scheduled an appointment at a mutually convenient time. Jeremy arrived promptly, reviewed my "to do" list and looked at the projects needing attention. I received his written estimate about 3 days later. After reviewing it and confirming that he would honor a 15% off/max. $100 off coupon from Angie's List for his work, we scheduled a work date. Jeremy and his crew of three men arrived precisely on schedule at 9 a.m. Jeremy reviewed the required jobs with the three others, then he and one of the other men left for another job. The two remaining workmen were polite and immediately set to work. The repairs they completed included replacing a leaking kitchen faucet and shutoff valve; readjusting all kitchen cabinet doors so they were secure and hanging levelly; replacing the front of one kitchen drawer and making 3 drawers easier to open and close smoothly; reattaching and securing an old brass doorknob on an interior door; and scraping, priming and painting the ceiling over our shower stall with mold resistant paint. Jeremy had also given me an estimate for repairing our kitchen exhaust fan, but because it was impossible to know whether the job would require electrical repair or some other type of work or replacement of the entire unit, I felt Jeremy's estimate of $350 for work on the exhaust fan to be more than I wanted to spend, so I declined to have him work on this. The two men worked continuously until about 2 p.m. with the exception of a very brief lunch break. After they finished, they had me look at and/or try out all the things they had repaired or replaced. Everything was well done, and they cleaned up after themselves very well. Once I confirmed that all the work I had expected to be done was completed satisfactorily, they thanked me and left. Jeremy called me two days later to confirm that I was pleased with the results of the work. As agreed, he did take $100 off his estimate for the work and emailed an invoice to me several days later. I found Jeremy to be pleasant and professional. He made me feel that my long list of repairs could be easily accomplished, and it was. I would definitely call him again for other handyman jobs, and would even consider calling him about larger renovation jobs if the need arises.

The guys from Northside showed up on time. They carefully removed some of the tile to allow access to the underside of the tub. They installed and painted a panel to cover the empty space. In the shower, they very carefully removed some of the tile and re-applied it so that the door would open/close without getting stuck. They re-grouted the entire area and, finally, caulked or re-caulked all the major joints in the shower. The work took them a full day and part of a second day. They cleaned up after themselves such that you'd never know they were there. Overall, probably the best experience we have had with a contractor.

Jeremy came and looked at all work, gave a prompt and detailed estimate and went over all details. The crew was courteous, did great work, cleaned up after they were done. Jeremy stopped by often to check on the progress and during the initial work for the Fireplace I was impressed and gave them the work to remodel the basement walls and floors. They all went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect and that we were completely satisfied. I am in the mechanical contracting business and have to deal with construction projects every day so from my personal and professional point of view, this project went great from start to finish, I highly recommend Jeremy and North Side Renovations!

The drywall work was expensive as that was a big job. Mr. Jeremy Aylesworth was the name of the owner and he was very responsive. Honestly, I almost felt like we were friends from the beginning. I had just bought a condominium and needed to have the work done before the new renters moved in. He took them in with one of the keys and he let my renters in. He worked around their schedule. He came back several times to make sure that everything was done well. He was very professional and very good to work with. I would grade him highly right across the board. He was great.

Among all the contractors I contacted from Angie's list, Jeremy was the most responsive and professional. We spoke on the phone, then clarified the scope of work, in detail, on e-mail. Some parts of the scope of work was contingent on trying to figure out the root-cause of the problem. For example, he needed to cut-out parts of the wall to determine how far the water damage extended. Based on findings, we adjusted the scope of work, along with pricing. The work was accomplished according to my specifications and at a very reasonable cost. Jeremy and his staff were very flexible with scheduling; he was able to accommodate my work-schedule requests based on my busy work/travel schedule (I wanted to be at home on all the days when they worked). When the wrong cabinets were delivered and we had to wait for replacement, it was easy to re-schedule work-dates. Ditto for the busted lights/transformers which had to be purchased first, before work could continue. He clearly understood what I wanted to get done (and how) and effectively communicated instructions to his carpenters and electrician. His workers were also very courteous and conscientious with their work. They wore shoe-protectors when working inside the house (I was very particular about my hardwood floors). They cleaned-up at the end of each day of work and they tried to keep the work-in-progress covered and isolated so living in the house while work was being done, was not inconvenient.

Fantastic. Jeremy completed ahead of schedule, and we were billed exactly for what we were initially quoted. Would use again in a heartbeat, can not say enough good things!

Jeremy responded to our email and phone calls(we have a running list of projects) promptly, and gave us a few options for each project. He was prompt in scheduling, and his team came out on the scheduled day/time and took care of the projects. In our condo unit, Roberto did a great job with the wiring and installation of microwave. The wall repair was such that you could no longer tell where the 1930s electrical boxes had been. The fence and gate are exactly what we needed, and our electrical is up and running like clockwork. On any project, Jeremy is communicative and lets us know the status and any needed changes in plans. We have invited other contractors to come in and bid on work, and have found Jeremy's prices are competitive and he is great to work with. We will continue to use Northside Renovations for projects big and small at our building--I highly recommend Jeremy Aylesworth for condo associations as well as homeowners.

Jeremy was prompt and professional. He discussed available options thoroughly and in detail. His men were neat, professional and the job was completed in the days estimated. Would highly recommend this company.

Jeremy responded immediately to a call to repair a tile problem in a shower. He was referred by a plumber to do tile work. He came to check the job the same day I called him, and he actually made the repair at that time. He identified the problem as needing to be grouted, and did the work on the spot. We tested it and it was fixed. Have had not problems since. Very prompt, responsive, and professional.

The job went very well overall. Jeremy was prompt, up front about potential costs, and maintained a clean work environment. This is the second time i've used Northside Renovation's handyman services, and will definitely use this company again in the future.

This was all done in 2 days as promised. The amount was exactly what was estimated (except for a can of paint which Jeremy got to match our ceiling paint exactly and that we chose to keep for future touchups). The entire team is hard working, dedicated, and experts in their field. We would definitely call them back for future jobs.

He was professional. He wasn't able to complete the job. The availability wasn't the best. Also communication was hard with him. I got the tile and I assumed that it might or might not work. He told me that it would work but it didn't work. He did show up on time.

Jeremy was courteous, timely and did the job quickly and efficiently. His initial quote was accurate and the quality of the work was exceptional. We would recommend him and use his services in the future.

Overall this project was a big headache. It took longer than it should bc of his use of someone who didn't know how to do drywall correctly. We learned through this experience to be EXTREMELY distrustful of contractors.

Overall, it went very well. It was a pleasure working with Jeremy and his crew. From the beginning, he was responsive to my request for a quote. The work was excellent! He even coordinated and referred me to someone to install new wood kitchen floor and refinish wood floors in office, dining room and hallway. This was an excellent referral. The work by his crew was very good and professional. All were easy to work with and overall the work was performed void of any major issues. I can't say enough good things about Jeremy and his team. Absoulutely Excellent!!!!

Jeremy got the job because he was the first to respond to my request for info, and he continued to be responsive. Did the job exactly as we discussed, at the time we discussed. All went as planned and expected.

Jeremy came out to fix a water stain on the ceiling of my garage. He completed the work in a very professional manner (arrived on time and cleaned up each day before he left). He was able to fix the problem after minimal troubleshooting and the stain hasn't reappeared (its been 2 months since the work was completed). I will definitely use him again!

From the initial call Jeremy was very responsive and easy to work with. Came out and gave an estimate and the work was done a little over a week later. Jeremy came with Max and got all set up. Max completed the work from start to finish and did a superb job. The closet looks like new.
