Jeremy is very straightforward and honest. he came out to do an estimate the same day i called him and followed up with a written estimate within a day or so. it was detailed and thorough. my only concern was that when i was ready to pull the trigger a month later he was busy with other jobs and took a few days to get back to me. eventually we set a time to do the job and Jeremy was very communicative during the day as far as his ETA to make sure i didn't waste time sitting and waiting for him and his people. the work was done perfectly with zero negative issues. the carpenters were professional and courteous and the end product looks great. I will definitely use Jeremy again for my future projects.

Everything went pretty well. A couple of issues about timing and pricing, but these things got work out reasonably well. And the proof is in the pudding -- within a short time after completion, the units rented out for full value and there have been very few problems since then.

I didn't use them. The quote was about $1700.00. They were overall a couple of hundred less than the company I went with. The guy didn't give a detailed quote with the breakdown of what each part of the job would cost. It had to do with insurance as well because of it being a common pipe and he didn't do any of that. I felt that the other company was a little bit more professional. The gentleman was nice. He didn't have a separate form for the estimate. He just gave it to me in an email. He did not break it down. They didn't give me what I asked for in the quote. He was actually at my house before I was. He was waiting for me. He was definitely professional when he was there. I just wasn't happy with the way he presented the information after that. I probably would not use them again in the future. I am very detail-oriented and I was a little upset with the lack of detail I specifically asked for. He was very nice.

They were a great company. They were friendly and had a competetive price.

Jeremy came onsite beforehand to provide suggestions as to how we could accomplish this project and gave us different ideas. He also provided an estimate. The work was completed in a timely manner and they did a great job. Would recommend to others.

He was great to work with -- work was completed on time and on budget. He and Roberto were very professional and completed the work as desired. They took the time to cover our furniture and walls with plastic -- limiting dust in our bedroom. The price was reasonable without any compromise on quality. We would certainly use them again.

I am extremely happy with the outcome. The job of distributing the can lights over the (sizable) room and into three even rows was complicated by the joists, which run perpendicular to the rows, and by an i-beam covered in wood paneling that runs the length of the room. Roberto, who did most of the work, was very thorough in planning. In addition, he found a way to run the electrical so that he didn't have to cut through the joists (I have plaster ceilings, which are just thick enough to disguise conduit buried in them). I was particularly pleased by that kind of creative thinking. We did run into a snag with the paint, which bubbled within 24 hours. But we agreed to wait a week to see if the bubbling progressed. After reassessing, they scraped, patched, primed and repainted. I was dubious, but Jeremy gave me a 1 year warranty on the paint job--and six months later the paint is holding fine. Jeremy was excellent about communicating often and in detail. He spent a lot of time with me thinking about can size, energy usage and bulb wattage (when buiying 21 bulbs you want to make sure you like them!). We did have tense negotiations around the failing paint job, but we made it work. I also found him to be punctual and professional, which makes such a difference. I wish more contractors understood this. Roberto was terrific--thoughtful, careful in his work and easy to have around. The fellow who laid the carpet squares also did an excellent job. Friends and family can't believe the difference in this room! Overall, this was a very good experience and I fully intend to hire him again for a bathroom remodel. As with any contractor, if you are particular about materials (as I am), you should make sure to spec those in your job. The default these days appears to be Home Depot, and I for one am willing to pay more for quality products (paint, primer, etc) that extend the life of the work.

Jeremy from NS Renovations was a pleasure to work with. We have used him for two drywall projects at two different buildings. In both cases, he was prompt and always worked around our scheduling. In one case, he set up with multiple tenants for repairs, taking the burden off me (the property manager). Upon completion he talked with the associations board president and made sure that the work was to the board members liking, something that is very important to a property manager.

I found myself in a DIY jam while trying to install weatherstripping on an old entry door and needed help. Jeremy arrived quickly, repaired the hinge that I had damaged through my ineptitude, and rehung the door. He also instructed me on how to do properly what I had set out to do, all without making me feel like an idiot in the process.

Jeremy was extremely professional and very efficient. He completed all the work in two days, and I never had to worry about it. He really tried to not over charge us, or do more work then what was needed which was refreshing. It is great that he lives in the neighborhood. I will for sure use him again, and in fact he had already come to help my upstairs neighbor with her leak.

We called Jeremy to come by to quote the work-he was on time and professional, submitting a quote for the needed work in writing. Compared to the other contractor we contacted, his price was very competitive and reasonable. Jeremy and I met at the paint store to talk over the best product for the job, and Jeremy was detailed oriented--being concerned not only about protecting the wood deck, but which product would give us the best look to mask some of the weathering. We were running up against coming winter weather, and Jeremy was great about promptly scheduling his team to come out and treat our badly weathered deck before snow and cold arrived. He was communicative on the days when weather permitted work and was quick to follow up with us on when the crew would be coming back. Our porch is now better than ever and ready for winter. When we requested he quote the electrical work, Jeremy had someone come by quickly and the work was completed within the week. I will definitely work with Jeremy Aylesworth again and highly recommend him to others.

Jeremy did an excellent job working on my condo. He was very efficient, and did an excellent job communicating with me. His team was very professional, and I would recommend him to anyone.

Jeremy was refreshing to work with. He caught my somewhat sketchy concept; working within budget and on schedule, he patiently guided me through each step. The craftspeople working for him were pleasant and professional. All combining to make this less of a harrowing experience with a lovely outcome.

Jeremy Aylesworth was punctual in making the inspection and estimate and performed the work as agreed. Jeremy did not try to oversell the amount of work needed. The repairman that actually did the work was knowledgeable and competent and Jeremy stopped by several times to oversee the work.

Jeremy came in, got the details, and gave me an estimate. After I hired him, Jeremy and his guys came in and worked on it eight hours a day, every day, until it was done. As the owner of a plumbing contracting company, I hear from clients who hire contractors who come for two or three hours a day, two or three days a week and the project takes forever. Not the case here at all-in fact, we now refer North Side to many of our clients. Jeremy is an honest, stand up guy who really wants his clients to be happy with the results of his work.

The contractor was very professional and friendly. The work got completed in a very timely manner and he worked straight through. The proposal amount was the invoiced amount and there were no added on fees. I am very happy with the work and would use him again.

We have worked with North Side Renovations on several occasions. This project was completed as directed and within budget guidelines. Jeremy is a pleasure to work with and very reliable. He provides consistent and quality work.

Jeremy was thorough, professional, and did great work patching our water damaged wall. I initially called him to do a kitchen remodel project, though a sudden move forced us to drop those plans. Of all the contractors we had come in, Jeremy was the only one who actually took the time to inspect the area thoroughly and give a detailed estimate (which ended up being in the middle of all the others). He's also a good listener--careful to consider our budget and vision, and was clearly interested in giving us the best kitchen for our needs. Highly recommended.

While they do excellent work and are very responsive, above and beyond the call, they do tend to be a bit pricey. You pay for the quality you get with them.
