It went well - from the very beginning with professional phone reception and quick schedule availability, prompt and polite technician, and service well done. Definitely more than I wish I'd paid on locks, but good value for all the work needed. I'd use them again.

The first visit went relatively smoothly - the technician (Tom) arrived promptly and was on-site for between two and three hours. During that time he rekeyed everything except my front gate. We discussed purchasing a different piece of hardware for my front gate, and he offered to send me an estimate. I agreed with the estimate that he sent me, and I scheduled a follow up visit for several days later. The follow-up visit was scheduled for 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. At 12:55 p.m., the dispatcher called to say that Tom would arrive between 1 and 3 p.m. Although I don't have the exact time, my recollection is that Tom ultimately arrived after 4 p.m. When he opened the box to install the hardware, he did not have the correct handle. So I spent an entire day waiting on Nonstop, only to find the technician showed up without the appropriate hardware. We scheduled another follow up visit. When Tom arrived, he informed me that the hardware I was originally quoted (approximately $90) was not good quality, and that a handle with a more substantial build quality would cost $650. At this point I asked Tom to simply rekey the original lock, which he could have done the first day. As a few days passed, Nonstop then had to visit my house four more times in order to correct issues with the equipment that was installed. Thus it took Nonstop eight visits to my house to complete this job. In total, I took five days off work and spent over sixteen hours waiting on Nonstop to do a job that should have taken four hours. The follow up visits included: - The front gate lock stuck two days after it was installed and was inoperable - My back door would not lock because the cylinder was damaged when it was rekeyed. Nonstop insisted this was an issue with the door, but the manufacturer installed a new lock cylinder that worked flawlessly. - My front gate buzzer would not work because my front gate needed additional work to accommodate the new lock. This issue should have been identified when the lock was originally installed. - My back patio door needed to be rekeyed after the door manufacturer arrived and installed the new lock core For all of this trouble, Nonstop offered me a $45 credit, which they ultimately used to offset the additional work on my front gate. At no point did anyone apologize or acknowledge that Nonstop could have done anything better. Don't get me wrong: everyone at Nonstop is very professional and very friendly. I honestly find it difficult to write this, because I like everyone that I dealt with. But the work and the experience speaks for itself. If you use Nonstop, I strongly suggest charging the work to a credit card (despite the 3% fee they will charge you) so that if the work is poor quality, you can dispute it with your credit card company and hire someone else to finish the job.

Had appointment scheduled for 2-4, but they called at 10:15 to tell me that time cleared up and they could come earlier. Took about 45 minutes to trouble shoot and fix. It was perplexing at first, but so glad he could fix it. Found out that the replacement locks are $500! Definitely mention Angie's list for the discount. Glad to have such a good locksmith in the neighborhood.

Excellent. Wayne came out and found the remotes that came with the unit installed less than a year ago not working, so they replaced them under warranty w/o any issues. We didn't use those remotes so we didn't know they didn't work until we tried to program one of the cars that had lost its homelink codes. He did, as always, a great job. Wayne is always great. The office worked well with us so we could just have Wayne go in and do his work, and they would charge our credit card so we didn't need to be at home. Scheduling was very fast and problems addressed. We've used them for 3yrs for all our Lock, Garage Opener and Door needs w/great success.

I used Non Stop Locksmith to make 2 keys (2 copies of one single key) I needed for a new condo I bought. I needed 2 Sargent keys made and I went to my local ACE Hardware store first. ACE made the keys 2 times and the second keys were actually worse than the first set. I couldn't keep going back to ACE hoping they could make these two simple key copies, so I went on Angie's List. I looked for Locksmith's in between where I work, and where I live. I found Non Stop Locksmith and they said they made Sargent copies and were open to 6:00pm weekdays. I went there afterwork but got stuck in terrible construction traffic, made worse by a disabled car that was getting towed. I was going west through the Loop on Madison at peak rush hour...I work nearby but traffic was awful. I called and got Non-Stop's other location that answered my call, as it was getting close to 6:00pm their closing time and I wanted them to know I was a few blocks away. The helpful woman who answered the phone said she would call the Madison Street location and let them know I was on may way, which I thought was really great customer service. I double-parked, dropped off the master key and Rosie (the locksmith) told me where to park legally at that time of day. She didn't have the Sargent blank I needed so she found a suitable alternative. Within very few minutes I left with two keys that do work perfectly and they were actually less expensive than the ACE I had gone too. Rosie did a terrific job and was so pleasant, I would go back in a heartbeat. I would use Non-Stop for any future key needs I might have and would recommend them to anyone. It also looked like they provided a full range of lock and security services. I know I only needed something small, but if they took such good care me with such a small job, I suspect they would also treat customers royally on large lock and security jobs. You can use Non-Stop with confidence.

He was on time. He did the work quickly and professionally. The price was reasonable. We will use him again in the future.

I called on a Saturday afternoon to request Sunday (next day) service and they were able to accommodate that, which was impressive given the short notice. The technician called right at the start of the time window for the appointment to say he'd be there in 30 minutes, which he was. He worked quickly and cleanly and was very polite. While I think the cost was high for the service -- simple lock replacement that took less than 30 minutes -- I understand that locksmith services in general are always pricey.

Fantastic. Technician was a creative problem solver and came up with a cost-effective and great solution to a sort of unsolvable problem. I appreciated his thinking and solution exploration. Too often people are not able to do this, and do just enough to check the box that they 'fixed' something. This guy was great, and I really appreciate his thinking!!

Available next day. Repairman prompt, nice, and professional. He also corrected a misalignment of the gate for no additional charge. (Is that normal? I don't know, but I was pleased.) Only issue was a $45 fee just to show up (standard) when their office is just down the street. True they may have been coming from another job / location, but it seemed a bit excessive.

Courteous and professional, just significantly more expensive than we expected. Would use again for a smaller job, would shop around for a larger one due to price.

Tech was thorough / tidy / courteous. The price ended up being MUCH higher than original quote & didn't receive locks that were originally agreed on.

I called to schedule a lock installation and re-key for my house. A helpful woman provided me with an estimate for the work and scheduled my appointment for the following Saturday. Adam, the technician, called when he was 10 minutes away, he arrived within the given appointment window. He completed all the work, reviewed his work with me and explained the different fees. The cost was exactly what I was expecting based on the estimate. Everything went smoothly and I'm happy with the result. Will definitely use again in the future.

Our building had a broken lock on a main entry door, and it was completely unusable from the outside. We called ET Locksmith & Security but were connected to Non-Stop Locksmith. Apparently they are associated with each other. Anyway, they were able to schedule us quickly, and the technician showed up within the two-hour window. He was professional and knew what he was doing. The repair was tricky due to the thickness of the door and the previous hardware set that had been incorrectly installed. He had the correct lockset/handle hardware in his truck and performed the install immediately. He had to work at it for a while, and it ended up working out just fine. The cost was much higher than anticipated, mostly due to the price of the uncommon hardware that had to be installed to make it work. We felt that it wasn't worth shopping around, and the door really needed to be fixed, so we gave approval for the work. Overall, it was a good experience, and we would hire this locksmith again.

The person who helps me, whose name Ihave forgotten, but was from Long Beach California, was incredibly professional and helpful. He was on time and did the job perfectly.

Great experience. They were on time. Explained in detail what they were going to do, what my options were and then set to work. It took less than an hour. When they we're finished, all the new locks functioned perfectly, all the duplicate keys worked fine and everything worked flawlessly . I would recommend them and will call them again in the future, when I need an excellent locksmith.

The intercom was still working but the unlock function stopped working so we had to go out and open the door for guests. Chris showed up on time and efficiently but thoroughly worked through the issue and repaired the gate. Turned out we needed a new strike but some of the wiring went bad and needed to be stripped. He did also check the communication component inside the house. This is our 2nd time hiring Nonstop and we would use again.

On a Saturday morning around 8 am, our deadbolt lock fell off our door. We called non stop locksmith, and Brandon was at our house within about 45 minutes. He replaced the lock quickly and efficiently, he was friendly, and all was good. this was the second time we've used them, and the second time we've been thrilled with the results.

Before the installation, we traveled to the store because we had a lot of questions about what kind of locks we needed for a residential multi-unit building. Tim provided excellent customer service, answered all our questions, demonstrated several lock options for our application, and told us how to maintain the locks. We then made an appointment with the main office to schedule the installation date. The scheduler was very polite and gave me a choice of dates and times. I had questions about the warranty and exact cost of installation that the scheduler was unable to answer so a supervisor called me that same night and was very informative and answered all my questions. Brandon, the installer, was a little late but both the scheduler and Brandon called to let me know, which I really appreciated. Brandon was very knowledgeable and answered all of my and my mother's questions. He was very patient with us and explained everything in detail?even when we sometimes asked the same question twice. Let me add that it was extremely cold in Chicago and the doors were on the outside. Brandon, however, braved the cold and did a great job. All in all, it was a very, very pleasant experience and I highly recommend them!! I would definitely use them again!!

Tim arrived on time for an appointment to re-key locks at my new home. The job ended up being a little more complicated, and he was patient every step of the way. He thoroughly explained the pros and cons of the options I had and was respectful of my budget and the choices I made. In the end, although I was not planning on spending as much as I did, I'm happy we were able to get all of the locks on my house and garage on one key.

Locksmith arrived to our house on-time and was courteous. Performed job quickly with no issues.

Quotes Both the technician in-home and representatives on phone worked with me to create the best scenario that fit my budget. Both knew cost of hardware, labor, etc that allowed me to get the right doors and locks upgraded for my new home. Recommendations? Yes. I would recommend to a friend or family member.

Everything went very smoothly, they took direction well over the phone and came out immediately even though it was a holiday weekend.
